Breaking the silence with a challenge I set myself a few days ago - imitating Jacob Collier's amazing new (ish) song, using only my voice. I tried to do the version he did in his NPR Tiny Desk appearance (linked below). Using one mic forces you to be creative, I'd definitely recommend trying it out. I hope you enjoy!

I also tried to do a cover of this a month ago or so but it feels lacking coz I don't know how to do the instrument parts (I only did the 4 voices and the percussion with my beatboxing skills.) I'm glad you did the complimentary instrumental sounds with your voice. It is nice! Keep doing what you're doing sir!

Amazing!!! I also just released a version of this, mainly trombone-heavy but also with some vocals. Interesting how this song kind of inherently selects for that combo of instruments!
