Ah yes, my favorite magnit jank. Just throwing everything around. I even had a lv1 shield stuck in my perks menu. Also, for the broken build I found: Masterclaw (one claw, double use of items), the "first item you pick is doubled" perk, strength potion (doubles your strength), the ring of strength (gives you 2 strength),start with 3 strength gotta' be my favorite build (I had 763 strength. The last boss was just oblitirated by me LMAO).
The single claw, use 1 item x times and first claw items x times really made for a strong combination if you are lucky enough to grab magnet and pull all the metallic items around it. That's a really cool glass cannon build.
I just wish the Master claw would give a bonus if you had 3 claws. Going from 3 -> 1 is certainly not worth it for a 2x. Now....if it gave you x(the number of claws you would have) then we can get up to some shenanigans
In my personal opinion the one item that's let me go the farthest is the glove, especially if you can multiply the defense per item by either gaining multiple or gaining multiplier's on them, that +interest and money=health, gave me my personal longest run into the eternities.
So, I am guessing the reason the Dark Sword took health when you grabbed it alone was not because of Fluff since the one shield was still doubling even when you got it with Fluff. I think it counted each use of the item as a separate item you grabbed, so it acted as though you grabbed a second item, rather than a single item that just hit twice.
@gamingwithjeff I could swear the wording was "5 for each other item you grab", correct? If so, then I totally agree. But huttj509 has me wondering if I misread it and it is 5 HP for each item you grab which might include the sword. It should be designed that alone, it doesn't cause damage though. Otherwise it is always a negative when clearly you showed that with the Morning Star, you can do better single hit damage by stacking armor with the benefit of taking less damage.
I think the game is actually harder when you turn up the game speed. It seems to make the claw itself move faster which makes it more erratic. It doesn’t spend as much time securing grip when grabbing and it whips around and drops stuff more. Confirm? Deny?
I managed to break the game as scrapp with: golden dagger(deal 3 damage +1or2 for every 10 gold you have) golden armmor(+2 max hp for every 10 gold you have) x3 saveings account(+2% of your gold after each comat) x5 I have 25786 max HP
I just got done playing this LOL. I got gold armor and 10% gold after every battle with A gold dagger. I have over 8million gold and and that get's turned into health. One gold dagger and one claw is all you need after that. past level 20 now. I was going to screenshot at floor 20 cuz you know. Also I started with three claws it removes the bonus claws. :(
@@gamingwithjeff I accidently underestimated how broken. Now that I loaded the game I have. 1339204864 gold. and 133920 max health. I even spent over a million gold trying to roll for 50 gold daggers on my way to floor 21. BROKEN!!. it was fun.
I am confused as to why this isn't a runaway mobile hit. It seriously lends itself to microtransactions right off the bat and the gameplay wouldn't be diminished in the slightest on a phone.
@@umbaupause Not precisely. I am confused because this game is very perfectly placed to be successful on mobile AND have non-intrusive mtx elements. I would like to see more people enjoy this game and see the dev able to eat more than ramen.
@@umbaupause Mobile games don't have to have microtransactions. There's also quite a few roguelikes that play very well on mobile. Slay the Spire and Slice and Dice specifically. Being able to put a game on mobile without sacrificing gameplay quality is rare but could be extremely profitable for the dev team. ( Just charge 5-10$ for the mobile version) I'd argue this game has the potential to be on mobile without losing ANY quality if done right.
I think the problem with the water build in the current state of the game is that you have to grab a water capsule before your other poison or lava items do anything. Starting with a water capsule in the deck would probably make it feel better. at least psychologically
if you go into setting theres an option to turn up the speed if you want more fast past gameplay
I should try another run with that and the gold scaling items that apparently gives infinite health

Funny and unique, let's see how it develops👍

Or it counts itself. Five damage for each item picked up this turn, not each other item.
@@huttj509 no im sure it cause he had the use item x time when u grab it first or alone so it see it self being picked up that many times
Whichever way it ended up working I feel like if I grabbed it by itself it should not make me lose hp.

I don't think I've noticed but I haven't messed around with the speed much.

well it's the first publicity playable version. I suspect it will be a huge mobile hit if they do it right.
...Are you advocating to have more stuff to pay for...?

Alot of 0eoppe hate the water build but if you combine it poison

I'll be honest... Masterclaw seems kinda like a hot garbage perk. Like just overall.
they could probably make it bigger unless the goal of it is to make the game harder.
Maybe if you get the perks in another order.
First masterclaw
Then an additional claw
Might work
the concept is fun but I hate the demo, there's almost nothing to it.
