Jeff, thanks for this. After watching your vid I tried a D100 cast build with Krom (attack), Ninh (Landslide) and Justice. With no regen it was a bit iffy until I hit Inner Peace, but after that it was pretty smooth. Had +5 projectiles on gear so Landslide+Eclipse performed well, and also got to use the Firestarter bow for once. Only Strike taken was Shurikens and even though I only managed to get Landslide to Level 7 (so no benefit from Impeccable), it still worked great. Also, following your Black Lightning Lorien build from the other day, I tried BiG Lorien with Black Lightning as the only Strike. Only had one item with BL on it, banished all other Strikes when they were offered, gods taken were Krom (attack), Mort, Justice. Felt like it may have been stronger than other versions of BiG (and didn't block out the screen as much as Tornadoes). Had Fate Stone equipped to ensure the Fates showed up, and +crit on gear where I could. Had Wanderer chest (didn't seem to need Curse of Weakness). Thanks for the content!

Yeah cast Lorien build goes hard. Love that style. I remember you saying you wanted to be able to use the 300% increased cut damage skill on Nixie. May I suggest the black frame belt? If you do that, get a cast dagger with cast crit, same with the necklace and maybe a ring you can make a decent Cast Nixie build that’s built around 300% crit damage talent. I have my build all set up if you’d like to see it.

I know it wasn't necessary for the build you were doing but am I the only one that gets severe FOMO when I see master Force being skipped? It's probably just a me problem.

Lorien is just a Beast and i love that.

Just a thought, but maybe plop your camera box to the bottom left so that the map is visible, not sure why but it bothers me not being able to see the map, lol.

I'm not sure if it was because of the fireball basic attack they started you with or not, but enemies in that first run seemed insanely tanky. In the first game most normal enemies would go down in one or two basic attack combos, so combined with your other spells, you could usually clear most rooms in a couple seconds. The amount of dialogue is also gonna take some time to get used to. The first game had like, a quick 10 minute tutorial, and aside from 3-4 lines from each boss at the start of their fights, that was pretty much all the dialogue or story in the game. It allowed for a pretty lean and unobtrusive gameplay experience, so I hope the commentators in the sequel don't become too annoying or grating.

Poison run was just average silent experience

I enjoy using him, though one run I had double strength potions fully upgraded and lost to the reflect guy because I had 62 strength. lol The only thing I didn't like was spike shield doesn't work with the dam nor do you get the spike buff. I like Junk jet, it is a silly perk I want to build a meme strat around it. That and try to make the minimalist perk work, though that might be doable by shredding all your items except 1 and spam it. Though the reflect guy might cause some trouble.

That was a fun run. I laughed pretty damn hard at some of the mishaps.

Yep, it's using the Nuclear Throne ammo system where multiple different guns use the same ammo type, and when you had two energy or two bullet weapons you were burning through just that one ammo type leaving yourself empty. It also looks like it's using a similar 'mods' system to the Nuclear Throne Ultra mod (which is worth having a look at if you havn't already).

Found something cool out today, if you have all the unique items and then go ahead and sell any of them that have revive, you are almost guaranteed to get a free revive in a run from a unique drop since thats all it can give you.

kinda funny to see people playing the second game's demo without playing the first, certainly gives me a laugh, all in all it looks like if wizard of legend and hades had a baby

The reflect boss only attacks onxe during his reflect stage normally for 20 i think, the idea when youre stuck on him is to skip turns using backspace, pick up some block on his attack turn, and youll get one turn every 4 where hes about to renew his buff and the previous reflect wears off.

Loved the content you made on the first one. This one looks more polished and fun.

I just tried him out today and found him with the thermometer was broken especially with them upgraded. Though it took me a few runs to get used to him because I was hurting myself too much. I love that they made draws on the final boss count as a win for you. He is probably the second hardest character to play as, I struggled more with the vampire dude. The 10 reflect guy is hard to deal with any character.

Been loving these runs with the new characters. Might I add, the music sounds like Pokémon reborn? If you’ve played / heard of it? Otherwise, big fan. Excited to see where this game goes!

Ouch. I would love to see you try and suss out this character's play. I _think_ poison may in fact be the way, but I would enjoy seeing you dig into the bones of this game, and nothing inspires that like a character who enjoys dying too much.
