Great review. However there is something i´d like for reviewers to take into consideration when testing a car, and that is some things might seem difficult to use, but when you get used to it, its nothing worth mentioning. Like the touch controls for climate and volume. You can adjust volume on the steering wheel with buttons, and the climate adjuster is not only a slider, you can push it. I´ve had mine for less than a week, and i dont mind the haptic buttons at all. Would i prefer real buttons? Yes, but the haptics are no problem when you get used to them. I have the top spec called Adrenaline. Its like a VZ but without the AWD. 286hp is plenty fast for this, as the 340hp doesn´t really feel that much faster. So unless you need AWD and/or need to tow a bit heavier, the RWD makes the most sense. More efficient and got a much better turn circle.
The range figures for Australian specifications are still pending confirmation. However, international models of the Tavascans boast impressive figures: the RWD variant offers a robust 566km, while the VZ AWD version provides 521km, based on WLTP measurements for the European market.
@@carsguide Seems like a lot of reviewers missed the fact that Cupra Australia detailed their Australian Specifications in Early September, and exact details are in fact available. The RWD "Endurance" does 534km, and the AWD VZ model does 499km WLTP. Disparities are likely due to spec differences (in particular, the VZ is standard with 21" wheels in Aus, and not in overseas markets, which accounts for most of the drop on its own). Cupra Dealerships (at least, some of them) emailed these details, and all the trim specifications and features of the various models to clients in the first week of September...
overpriced with outdated technology , crap car, the only good thing is design, and that is how it is in reality, tired of these "paid" reviews, where you can not say as it is, as manufacturer in future will not give you their cars, so all these reviewers decide to fool their viewers!
Piece of junk like all of these totally non environmental cars. Did you say that you have to drive 100000 km to get the so called carbon on manufacture back ?
That varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and car to car. The new Volvo EX30 actually produces less CO2 in manufacture than any petrol or diesel Volvo ever made, so there is no payback time at all. Besides, there are more reasons to drive an EV than just saving the planet (which I agree they won't do). I just love the way mine drives...
@@iguanagoat799 no not correct. You have to add in mining transport of materials from all over the world. Manufacturing of components transport of components. Manufacturing of the vehicle moving the vehicle by ship. I watch a engineer work it out on a whiteboard. When the say that there is much left out. Theres designing testing clay mockups wind tunnel. Manufacturing equipment to make the cars. Go to auto expert and look for it. It surprised me. I stll like diesel. I live on Cape York and have never seen a ev here.
Love it. Want one. Have been waiting for a manufacturer to make an EV with an exciting design AND with a decent boot.

So fare ive been waiting 2 month for mine Tavascan, hope it will arrive soon🙂
Is the insurance premium going to be $3000 per year like it is for a Model Y?
What are the offical range figures for the two models? Thanks

@@carsguide thank you for answering my question. Great video review by the way.
