I met him last month he gave me a young wrestler promo advice why because I came to him respectfully as my veteran and wise figure that can pass some knowledge on me so I can grow more as a talent and as a wrestler

Jake Roberts was the only guy who could quote Pink Floyd during promos and make it ominous! I hope one day wwe does a "Best on the Stick" dvd set - just guys like Roberts, Heel Piper, Shane Douglas, cutting promos... It would be money!

Jake was (and is) the quintessential wrestling antihero. I'll always prefer his WWF face run in the late '80s and early '90s, but it's because he never talked or sounded like one.

I love how he said 'the bottom line' a couple of times, because he described much of what happened with Stone Cold Steve Austin from 1996 going into 1997, leading to famous double turn with Bret Hart @ WM 13. Not to mention the famous 3:16 promo was after Austin beat Jake Roberts in the Finals of the 1996 King of the Ring Tournament

At 2:41, he says "bottom line is, if somebody's gonna beat me, they gotta be tough and bad..." I find this to be amazing, because the guy who beat him and got over was none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin, whose signature line is "And that's the bottom line." Wow...just wow.

I wonder what he truly thinks about AEW then? I’m guessing that since great professional wrestling is totally dead and never coming back he is just doing it for a nice paycheck even though he knows it’s all stupid.
It could come back, but not to the same money. The attitude era sold wrestling out. Smash and grab that whored itself out. Abandoned developing fans for the sake of "adult" fans, the frat boy market.
Nothing wrong with a little extra money. Jake Roberts deserves it.
