You were lucky in this spot Chris, to have that 'clean', dry soil to move,....Makes it easier on the equipment I would think. I could watch this video a lot longer ... Cheers
Good operating buddy .. Doing grade and loading trucks from eastcoast canada ! Ps: you should beep while dropping your last bucket by the time your dropping your bucket hes releasing air break and putting it in gear so you gain time ;) !!
Nice action Chris loading the trucks with the Volvo excavator, you have already sold the Link Belt excavator i read in the comments You can't load to heavy, it damagd the roads 😊👍
So where is yall's outfit looking to head in the future? Looking at any new equipment or are you just going to roll with what you have for a while ? PS. love to see a walk around of that ford crew/service truck Great job, keep it up.
Typical residential pavement is that thick in areas that I've lived in across the US, but in the colder climates (upper Midwest) it just doesn't last at all and is prone to the pot hole syndrome. Heavy industrial traffic on it just devours it with cracks and splits. :-(
They are used to distribute the weight per axle. The truck would be overweight per axle without them when fully loaded. The operator can bring them up and down as needed (operated by air) to save on wear on tires and to help with turning. Normally the driver would have them up when empty or down when fully loaded to comply with weight laws. Driver can also lift them up when loaded the help with tight turns as having them down increases the turning radius. They have nothing at all to do with speed bumps as previously mentioned.
mr dig you seem to have a lot of knowledge about these shovels you operate , I was told that the cat 330 excavator has heat and a c . do most shovels that size have that? I enjoy watching you .your living the American dream . I love when your knocking down a house. thanks.
You did your share of complaining about the maneuvering skills of the drivers. Just so you are aware, those drivers were complaining about your crappy loading skills, as they are the ones with dirt and rocks on the outside of their truck bodies.
I was hoping someone was paying attention to that, he's a good operator but if I heard you talking shit about my driving after you spilled crap down the sides and back of my box id be sure to take my time getting rounds in!
I used to own tri axles in NJ, you are one of the Best loader operators I have seen! between Pa,NJ,n Del I have only seen 2 maybe 3 as good as you!
Smooth, as always Chris.

How many ton can you put on those fully loaded. Here in Pennsylvania the most you can go is a tri axle and the max is about 22 ton
Max in pa is 73,280 lbs. I've seen tri axles haul legally 24+ ton
Hi. What are the extra wheels on the trucks for? They dont look like they do anything.
Philip Manning they help the truck get over speed bumps - distribute the weight better.

what size Volvo is that?
thanks for the video
This operator is awesome
how chill isn't this job??
How long is it going to take to get that linkbelt 24 yard bucket fixed
He ended up selling the Link Belt recently.
Did he install the quick couplers yet
trevt99 I don't think he sold the link belt
Andrew Bridgeforth Pretty sure he did, he posted about it on Instagram and FaceBook..
Oh
Thumbs up for video name lol
It sucks with You Tube that they don't want to let you have your music playing
Why have i never ever seen a video were the trucks have dropped their extra axels?!
I think they typically don't drop them until they are on the open road, as it hurts the turn radius and scrubs tires.
do you have to be certified to do this anymore
nope, just have to know how
Hey question I'm going to school to be a heavy equipment operator is it worth it
totally worth it
Sweet
what school?
Im in New York so alfred state

I don't imagine you remember posting this one a while ago, but I do....lol

Obviously a whiney ass truck driver

What's worse than 1 truck driver?
Two truck drivers.
