Lack of updates on upgradable devices and forced to buy new version. I find the best are their memory and NvMe SSD, nobody beats them. The curved look like it's losing real estate of viewing and personal not aesthetically pleasing.
It's funny because Samsung is superior over LG to the point LG stopped making smartphones. LG, in my opinion, just copies everyone with little innovation. Or at least that's how it was during the smartphone wars back in the day.
Guys, don't support this payed promotion nonsense - Lucas should at least be required to add that tag to this upload. This is not a review, it's an AD and the extent that Lucas bends the truth while bending over backwards to try to make this crap monitor with it's 10yo tech sound like a good buy.... rediculous. First, Lucas clearly knows he's bending the truth which is why I called this an ad... its not subjective, hes bending the truth quite a bit in his pitch for this thing - very dishonest. First, yes Samsung makes some really good monitors, and some really crappy ones, just because it's a Samsung does not mean you are getting a great product - Lucas knows this, and he knows this is pretty much the cheapest thing Samsung has put it's name on, but to try to play up that everything from Samsung is high quality is complete bs. This is 10-15 yo old tech at best, 240hz is the standard for gaming monitors, for a few years now, 100hz was the standard literally 10+ years ago. This is a low quality VA panel (so no, it's not IPS, nano-IPS, and certainly not OLED). He mentions representations of darks because that's what everyone is talking about - because of all the new OLED tech out... but this is not OLED and brings nothing to the table in terms of representing darks, again, this is 10+yo tech in this product, nothing new. It's also not made of metal, you will not find any metal on this monitor, Lucas didn't finesse the truth here - - he just outright bs the viewer. Also, enjoy when he does dodge the truth by comparing this monitor to his old 23" (who has used a 23" in the last 20 years?!?) instead of comparing it to say..... his 32" sitting right there on the desk. This monitor, and other ultrawides DO NOT give you more desktop real estate, they chop the top and bottom of your screen and add that space to the outer edges instead...it sells because it looks impressive when glancing at it - there is no net gain of actual space and doing this makes the panels much cheaper to produce... its a money making gimmick and you can decide for yourself if you want to put your money into that or not. This will be fine for watching movies in your dorm, most gamers dont what ultrawides, they prefer 16:9 and would absolutely demand a much higher refresh rate than what this thing has. This is a dirt cheap monitor for good reason, all tech on this is 10+ years old, wrapped in the cheapest plastic bezel I've ever seen Samsung use - complete with a very jinky set of buttons to make adjustments to it's settings. All the programming on this monitor (perloaded settings in menu) is par for the course 10 years ago, and who is still buying VA panels!?!? esp ones this devoid of anything quality. This monitor might impress your 11yo because of it's size - - but that's it, literally it..... there are zero reasons to pick up this very outdated monitor. It lacks the latest generation of HDMI and uses a display port connection that is two generations old... and thats only if you buy the slightly more expensive version of this. Look on amazon, look at the customers pictures, this thing is as cheap and flimsy as they come, and given that the tech inside is 10-15yo..... do not buy, no question. Always do your own research and do not listen to Lucas, the amount he knowingly bent the truth to sell this turd of a product is laughable.
Lol who paid me? Do you want to see my bank account? I'm broke bro! I wish Samsung paid me! I take that money so damn fast and put a paid paid PAID AD on my video so fast!

So it will work but the screen may be stretched to fit on the Ultra-Wide monitor or it will have black bars on the sides. If you Google "PS5 Ultra-Wide monitors" you can learn more about the pros and cons
Is it Mac compatible?
Yes
You can snap 3 windows.
On Windows 10?
@@AtHomewithLucas Yup, mouse over the maximize button, and you'll be presented with a few options :D
@darbomusic doesn't work on Edge or Chrome browser.
@@AtHomewithLucas Sorry I'm actually on Win 11
@darbomusic hey no worries...I'll be upgrading to 11 soon. Just need to buy a new PC lol
My sound isn’t coming out the monitor how do I fix this. Btw I have a ps5
This doesn't have speakers built-in. You need to plug speakers into the headphone (aux) jack.
@@AtHomewithLucas thank you
@medium_decanter3025 also the volume is at 50% on the monitor by default. So if it's not loud enough just turn it up in the monitor settings.
Hello, I was looking for a screen to play simracing with, this one is good for this ? 🤔
Have a good day 😊
Will you be using multiple monitors in your Simracing rig?
@@AtHomewithLucas no just one
@thebrainofwar2906 I'd get a curved monitor with a higher refresh rate for better gaming.
What's your budget?
@@AtHomewithLucas I found the 165hz, the samsung odyssey G5 34", but its very expensive, do you know a screen like that but cheaper ?
No, that is cheaper than the ViewFinity S6, so it's your best option. You can just type 34 inch curved gaming monitor and see your options.
My computer wont let me scale to 3440 x 1440
What do I have to do ??
What computer do you have? Are you using hdmi or displayport cable?
I had to update the drivers on the gpu from the AMD site.
Oh awesome! Happy to hear you're up and running.
the 100Hz on mine seems to have stutter and the 60Hz doesnt, its weird
Oh that's no good! Are you using a hdmi cable or display port? What pc do you have?
@@AtHomewithLucas ive tried both, the hdmi and DP, nultiple cables on each, its a Ryzen 5 7600x and an RTX4070 Super idk what it is, i guess im leaving it on 60Hz
@marleensrain go into the settings on your monitor and set it the the "fastest" refresh rate
@@AtHomewithLucas i did that too lol it could be defective idk but a friend of mine who bought one right before me said the same thing about the stutter as well
Also, try this. Plug your DP cable into your monitor, then go into settings on your monitor and check what version it's running (1.1 or 1.2) it should be on 1.2
hey mate,
just bought this same monitor and really like it.
Question, the inbuilt bezel. is that actually a bezel or is it a overscan/underscan issue? looking at your video it looks about the same as yours.
Also your eyes are beautiful hahahaha
First off, thanks for the compliment. 😁 Second, I believe it's actually bezels and not a digital thing. I'm sure if you took the bezels off an old monitor the screen would look like this. 🤷♂️😁
@@AtHomewithLucas thanks lad all good I thought as much.
No worries just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon!
Personally I'm envious of the luscious beard man. Need to put you on a bike!
Hey Lucas, would you happen to know why i may not be seeing the 100 Hz refresh rate in windows settings?
Great question, so many things can cause that. What cable are you using? Did you set your monitor settings to 100hz? Did you check to see if you have updates on your pc?
@AtHomewithLucas I'm using the hdmi cable provided in the package. I think I've got to look more into the monitor settings for it. My PC is only recognizing it as 30 hz and I've looked in my graphics center and also if there's driver updates.
@darkspectrumx1961 go into your settings on your monitor and set it to "fastest" response time under
Menu
Picture
Response time
@@darkspectrumx1961 you probably plugged the monitor into your mainboard instead of the graphics card hence why your pc only allows 30fps
Oh I've done that before lol
The triple snap.. this is an option in Windows 11
Yeah sadly I'm only able to run Windows 10 on my Pc
@@AtHomewithLucas What CPU do you have in your computer?
I have a Core i7
why mine is not sharp,?
Oh no! Are you using hdmi or DP?
@@AtHomewithLucas hdmi, sir
@@conkeh don't use hdmi
Yeah that's my thought. Also are you using a new hdmi cable or an old one?
Is this a good monitor to start streaming ? If not what would you recommend ?
Like gaming streaming?
@@AtHomewithLucas correct
@sebastianhernandez1224 yes this will be perfect. But a curved Samsung might be better. Like the Odyssey G5
@sebastianhernandez1224 I did a review on it as well th-cam.com/video/RfubEzwSjNc/w-d-xo.html
@@AtHomewithLucas I would be starting with a ps5 , do you recommend saving up enough for a pc or can I start with a ps5. Sorry for bothering so much
I just picked this monitor up yesterday it’s only plugged into my ps5 but I’m not able to change the resolution to the highest one & change my Hz to 100.. I can’t find it in my settings either, please help! 🙏🏼
Hey what cable are you using? Hdmi?
In your ps5 settings what is your highest image settings? 1440p?
@@AtHomewithLucas Yessir I’m using the Hdmi that came with the Monitor & Yes, Highest Setting on it is 1440p
Did you set the response time to fastest on your monitor? And put it in game mode?
@@AtHomewithLucas Yes I did, after watching the video I think I would need a pc hooked up to the monitor in order to change the refresh rate unless im wrong? & I know it’s not at the highest resolution as well because every time I turn on the monitor it tells me the best resolution & Hz compared to mines
Terbaik...
Yes it's a good monitor
Did you know that someone lifted parts of your video? They inserted parts into their video. Sounds like an AI took your script and condensed it too, right down to the 4.9 rating. I don't know many AIs that have played and reviewed hundreds of games. Do you? ;-) Here's a link to that review: th-cam.com/video/qH8PDxH885Q/w-d-xo.html
Wow that's my video 🙄 definitely looks like Ai to me too. I'll be copyright claiming on them asap. Thanks for the heads-up 🙏😀
Can it run at 75Hz?
I want to say yes anything 100hz or less
Why?
@@AtHomewithLucas I'm looking to add it to a pair of 75Hz BenQ monitors (tie fighter setup) and a friend warned me that I might be forced to move both down to 60Hz to avoid graphics glitches.
I figured it would work fine but he was pretty adamant, so I figured I'd ask around.
Okay just looked on my windows 10 settings I have two options 60hz and 100hz.
Also in my NVIDIA I only have 60 and 100hz
Jesus this guy gas gorgeous Eyes! sorry lol x you do x
Hey thanks Emma 💯😁
His eyes were made by Samsung 😂 krisp HD eyes

4.9 STAR rating over 10 or 5
4.9 of 5 Stars
Sorry I usually put it on the screen.
Wish LG has in this size 34 ultrawide flat 1440p in the same price range, LG has better split screen software, firmware, drivers update than Samsung.
Thanks for sharing. I never knew LG was better than Samsung. What LG panel do you have? Also, why do you want a flat panel over curved?
@@AtHomewithLucas Never had good luck with Samsung, everything from old school netbooks to mobile phones, tablets, smart TV, washers & dryers, refrigerator. Lack of updates on upgradable devices and forced to buy new version. I find the best are their memory and NvMe SSD, nobody beats them. The curved look like it's losing real estate of viewing and personal not aesthetically pleasing.
But you never used a curved monitor in real life? Just watched videos?
It's funny because Samsung is superior over LG to the point LG stopped making smartphones. LG, in my opinion, just copies everyone with little innovation. Or at least that's how it was during the smartphone wars back in the day.
@@AtHomewithLucas no, I used it before. Think It's great for gamer, but not for productions imo.

Can you wirelessly screen share?
