@oldschool-ef4jz exactly I found a 18 pin adapter that will plug in the factory harness and you can plug the after market wire in on the other side...newvintageusallc was the name of the site..im getting ready to do my truck and gonna order this to see if it'll work

To bad they dont make a direct plug and play harness from the factory wiring to the aftermarket...you have to cut into 30 plus year old wiring

They have a new adapter out now. No cutting wires.
