why such a heavy EMS response, including MRTU and MERV for the abandoned building fire? Were there a bunch of squatters inside? Or was it occupied with tenants?
Most likely the fire was caused by some sort of makeshift cooking setup by people staying there, at least that would be my first guess, so that explains the ems response
That’s one explanation, but it’s kinda the same question of why the satellite response while it’s an exterior operation, it’s just protocol and precaution. FDNY EMS has their own responses for different alarms and they have the resources and staffing available to give such a precautionary response, so they do.
@@socalfirebuff91377 I think that the responses are based on the Alarm Level and in this case the call was made to fight the fire externally whereas an occupied building would have been fought primarily from the inside to shut down the fire as fast as possible.
can't stand rumbler sirens, and dint you think that's way to much resources for a abandoned building fire, all them fire fights just stood around just waiting

I’m not one for conspiracy but a building with a massive “land for sale” sign on it being on fire will always be suspicious

@@socalfirebuff91377 It's also for how many firefighters are there on scene.
MRTU Could’ve be used as a rehab unit could be why they responded.

This is not a cheap thrill show. Firefighters are responding to emergencies!!
Nice catch of the investigative unit! I’m sure it was arson of some kind.
Yup was very happy to catch that and yeah most likely

Merv1 purpose?
Not sure just goes to major emergency’s, i assume it’s some sort of rehab unit but no clue really
Able to treat multiple patients with low level injuries ie heat exhaustion smoke inhalation etc
@@socalfirebuff91377 Thanks
@@dv1267 Thanks
Always seem to be a lot of firemen stood about at these incidents
If you knew anything about firefighting, you would know why that is the case.
