Epic and rare catches. Sending prayers to y’all from Florida. Down to 3 fires to deal with and Hurst Fire is at 95% containment. Hopefully, once the Hurst Fire is contained it will free up a bunch of resources to help with the Palisades and Eaton Fires.
@@outdoorBEI mean it does, but it’s not at all close to the package their brush patrols have unless this might be the first of a entirely new series of them
Negative. I did some quick research and noticed a few things: 1) in the video it has California license plates 2) No NJ agencies brought apparatus to this string of fires 3) This is a 1970s Ford. Very highly unlikely it's in-service anymore 4) looking at the Fire Fandom wiki for Cape May Point Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, you can see that this pumper was retired and sold to Nielsen's Fire Protection, Palmdale, CA- hence the California plates.
There were hardly any trucks until hours after it started. The ones that finally did show up way later in the afternoon, they were telling residents they had no water and to just evacuate ASAP.
are there any mutual aid responses from within city limits responding to regular calls or is LAFD, LA County etc still handling their own calls in the urban areas
@@michaelwerner1478 thank you for the response but i want the poster to respond because he is a fire buff meaning he is deeply observing these responses
Given the conditions they were confronted with there wasn't a damn thing they could do but evacuate people. That much wind and dry brush, nothing would have stopped that monster
This is what happens when you have a governor who cares more about a fish than saving water and doing proper brush management... great job Gavy, let's hope you never get anywhere near the presidency or the rest of the country will look like this too!
Never ceases to amaze me that people actually exist who will politicize a national tragedy, shame on you. All the water in the world isn’t going to stop 50+ mph winds and nine months of drought.
Kudos to all First Responders for all you do Risking your life to save lives 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰 It's a special calling to do what you do
Such a crazy response. Great video and coverage of this devastating incident.

Yooooo!!! You got me driving The LAWA MCP that was you on the corner!!!!

@@Lund-ne7jt I think it’s 44:03

Firefighters don’t get enough respect
NICEEE!!!! Prayers to everyone affected
Glad to see our Utah Guys out there now!
Those wind gust sounded crazy 😧
5:38 something I never thought I’d see, a fire vehicle escorting a public works vehicle. 😢
As I know, my country has turned over 3 planes that dump water in US two are active
25:58 what is that thing? Only thing I can find for county station 23 is an engine
There is a Utility 23 out of station 70. Probably what that was.
@ gotchas, thanks. Not familiar with their utility units so. Much appreciated!
Looks just like a wildfire truck
@@outdoorBEI mean it does, but it’s not at all close to the package their brush patrols have unless this might be the first of a entirely new series of them
Around 2:30, they must be low on Equipment. They got firefighters using their POVs.
Good thing they still have the awesome MX 7000 light bar❤
What is the unmarked dually at 36:05
It is astounding at the amount of law enforcement showed up compared to the number of fire department units that were shown arriving the first night.
Lots of them were already there
Because many fire trucks were already on scene.
13:39 what ranger is that?
Holy jesus. Incredible
At. 5:30 I wonder what siren that is our county EMS agency medic supervisor command suv have that siren.
Regular wail siren what you mean
27:20 holy shit that uturn was insane!
12:53 “I need each of you to drive down streets, get on your PA, and start clearing those neighborhoods”
13:54 was that a new LAFD command unit or smt? Or was it from another department?
The county FD
34:56 Where did you find it? So nice!
It’s from cape may point NJ
Bro the first ram FD has the sirens so quite right at the beginning of the video
35:19 what happened to the LAPD explorer being towed
I think it ran out of fuel
Bro was really focused on the female cop at 19:47
Awesome catch!
Just a thought…cops sure seem to like using their emergency lights and sirens in California….we got us a convoy!
38:23 bro really came from Utah to support the fire 🔥 😤
34:54 Fire truck came all the way from New Jersey?
Yes fire trucks and firefighters are coming from everywhere they are desperate

@ thanks for letting us know
Many from other counties such as Sonoma County responded here
There were hardly any trucks until hours after it started. The ones that finally did show up way later in the afternoon, they were telling residents they had no water and to just evacuate ASAP.
Unfortunately disaster events brings out coolest apparatus.

The way they were calling for firefighters a few days ago I would assume L.A. was getting assistance from all over at this time.

A true conflagration…OMG…never thought I would see this in America. Pray hard for our country
all those engines just to not have water lmaoo so they sit around watching everything burn to the ground pretty sad....
all heading to a fire with no water
