OMG! I was in LV and a disgustingly rude person next to me grabbed the bag that I was looking at and tells her friend “this is the one I want”. It put me off the bag bc if someone so trashy wanted it, I don’t want it. I hate grabby hands!!
This happened to me too, but it was an asian grandma who had grabby hands, so respectful me just didnt say anything. I just requested another bag from the SA.

Wow, I thought....these are bags, what is there to get upset about? He actually found me THE LAST bag in the country that I had been waiting for (buying sight unseen since I do not live near a boutique). He was SO amazing that I did not have the heart to send it back because I knew in a MILLION years this bag was going to be too small for my needs. I will either tuck it away because I may want it someday or I will just give it away or sell it at a loss....either way, my SA is AMAZING and I will ALWAYS think of him first. He goes above and beyond and I appreciate his help SO SO MUCH! Thank you for ALL you put up with...I am sure it is annoying and difficult at times.

The first one resonated with me. The first time I ever purchased items from LV I was waiting with my friend while the SA wrapped everything up. And I heard this lady say to her SA “can you hurry up, I have places to be” and told him he was too slow, and it made me so incredibly uncomfortable. I really wanted to say something to her but I didn’t 😭 i didn’t feel like it was my place. It was so rude and disrespectful and I felt so bad for the guy just trying to do his job. I work in retail so I totally understand how this is. I felt so bad. Love your videos ❤️
Very funny video. Grabby Hands makes me think of Sophie Shochet’s video about when someone took her wallet to look at it while she was trying on a handbag in the Harrod’s Vuitton boutique. The thief said it was because she was “interested” in buying her Chanel wallet.

OMG #4 😂😂😂 I was in an LV boutique today and mentally reciting these points 😂 I asked for the nice CA who showed me a couple of bags last month. He was helping another client and eventually got to me. It was worth the wait as I ended up with the two items I was looking for (mini pochette & slim purse in monogram canvas.) He was very appreciative that I waited for him.

I just began my LV journey! I’m in my 60’s and will be retiring soon, and just moved to a new apartment. And wanted to celebrate and buy myself a LV-I’ve been wanting once since I was in my 20’s and couldn’t afford the handbags as I was raising my kids after my divorce. I decided to purchase a re-love LV. So I came across your videos which are awesome. But this one was so funny. What ever happened to wait your turn? If you’re in a hurry when you leave your house maybe you should have stayed home. I feel so special because I don’t act like the crazy customers that you have encountered. So happy my parent cared enough-rest their soul to teach us good manners and etiquette. Whenever me or my sisters wore dresses in the 60’s as most girls did most of the time. If we would do something like not bending our knees to pick up something off the floor, and just bend over. My mom would say, that’s not very ladylike let me show you how a lady picks up something off the floor. Whatever happened to acting like a lady or having good manners. Keep the videos coming. Love them.

That’s totally fine, as long as people are not taking an hour to do that! We hope they come back to the same CA once they decide. Its a lot of money to spend being undecided, so I understand. I would tell people, go have lunch and come back...
I have often bought bags after my first ‘undecided’ visits. Sometimes I walk in store to browse and on the occasions when I have received excellent customer service I, I have come back to buy to purchase. Thats how I got into luxury goods. 💙
Some people are offended about everything. I love your videos - I could listen to stories about LV all day. What’s worse is a when a grabby customer snatches up my personal bag which I’ve put down for a second to look another bag.
i love seeing a different perspective and the stories are so amusing albeit a little cringey sometimes. (I don't shop too often at lux stores because of circumstances so always research the bag I want and what other bags are in the same style, look at reviews etc then I call the store in my city to ask if the bag is in. It makes for a very painless shopping experience but just once I would like to wander an LV/Chanel/Dior shop and leisurely look around, these types of videos help me think of these places as less intimidating! These things are extremely limited and a good amount of them don’t even get produced! Sometimes you have to get a manager involved and they have to pull strings and call other stores that they might have a good relationship with to get other store to release the item, if their customer didn’t already buy it. It is very difficult! You are lucky to get a hat! Thank you for watching! 💕
Oh I also mentioned in another video, sometimes a pre-order and full payment still is not enough!! You need to have your management nominate you to corporate and try hard to get it!

I had that happen with my multi pouchette accessories when it was newly released. I put it down to look at a bag I was interested in and some lady picked it up ! It had all my stuff in it and my CA immediately told her no that’s my clients personal bag couldn’t believe the nerve of it. I don’t put my bag down without keeping an eye or hand on it in LV now 😂😂
I’ve never been to a LV store but would have assumed I could touch the bags on the wall like you do at literally every other store. Seems it would be easier if the prices were easily seen. I would prefer to browse without a sales associate standing next to me.
I used to work retail when I was younger but it was the exact opposite of Louis V. I work at Kmart, and Then Jcrew part time, so relatable. Honestly after those experiences I am basically an online shopper now.

I work specialty retail (Not necessarily luxury but we deal in specific products) and I've definitely gotten "I'm in a hurry" or "I have an appointment" more times than I can possibly count. Like if you have an appointment maybe go there first? These same people are usually on their phones.. That's the worst. They tell us to hurry and then we have to wait while they talk on the phone for 20 minutes. I will admit I've accidentally went behind the sales counter more than a few times at LV. In my defence at the stores I go to these counters are often in the middle of the room so its hard to tell sometimes what's a display and what's cash 😅

Make sure you keep the same CA Bec you will build a good relationship with them. Freebies and lots of respect. Make a aptt even .. exp if it's something your in a hurry ... And if you know what you want just go in ask for CA or make apt so she knows you'll be there and it will already be arranged 💕 from a lV collector for years these are my best tips for a good experience

When I was buying my first LV with my wife. My wife was looking at what bay to get and I started to wonder around. I saw a couple about to make a purchase and the guy goes to his wallet and throws his card on the table next to sale associate. I find that very disrespectful and I see people do that often in other places.

I believe people assume to equate luxury with being assholes, not recognizing (not caring?) that It's unnecessary. Hi Michelle. Another very informative and well presented video. I enjoy all of them ❤. Had a hearty chuckle listening to it whilst eating my lunch! I totally concur with all 5 points and seen some of them first hand too. Once whilst on holiday overheard a crass customer demanding she get a discount as she was planning to buy 2 bags, whilst flashing a wad of notes at the associate 😠. Sadly some people feel they are entitled as you correctly point out and that gives them a right to ride roughshod over others. I must admit that I've been very blessed and lucky that throughout my 15+ years association with LV, I've always had brilliant and proactive CAs/SAs as well as Store Managers. I want to enter in a LV but I’m still undecided. I always wanted a Speedy white monogram (the one Jessica Simpson a long long time ago had), but now that I’m older I keep thinking hummmmm I don’t know... and I’m usually in sneakers and I know it’s a big no no.... isn’t it?
You can wear whatever you want when you’re shopping, as long as you don’t do these things! On that note, I have seen women walking in the mall in literally their underwear like they left part of their outfits at home👎🏼

Sometimes I've gotten lucky and the Sas have understood and found the product. Ok, fess up. If a customer asks “how much is this?” Does your sales expectations instantly drop? Like…if they have to ask they can’t afford it kind of thing?
That’s a reasonable question, and there’s nothing wrong with asking that! But you can usually tell by the manner that the person is asking…like if they’re jumping around the store, or if you give them the price and they say…”which bag can I buy for $500?”. 😁
I had a nasty experience with my friend in a boutique. My friend was trying on a bag and had to put her own personal bag on the counter. A customer saw her personal bag and took it for viewing. My friend was shocked and had to ask that customer to return the bag. That customer had the cheek to say that she wanted to look at it some more and she really like that bag. It took another 5 mins to persuade her to return with the aid of a SA. Totally ridiculous!

I rather do online shopping or ask my fabulous CA to order. It gets so overwhelming in the store. Not only that some LV employees are rude also. I was not dressy in joggers and tees I was next to be helped. I had a key pouch I wanted to exchange for a bag. LV employee told me you have to wait I dont do exchanges. So after waiting in line I waited at the counter. I was left there for 15 minutes. The manager a young guy said Ill send someone to help you. No one for an extra 15 minutes. I was so mad I ask again the same Manager. I just did an even exchange and left. This is Costa Mesa upstairs LV store!!! Sometimes I feel like the employees judges customers by what they have on. I am a mom rarely have time to look fabulous. Anyways I am a true fan of LV products. Never again I want to go to the store. I dont even feel like I have any perks with all the damn money I spent at the store to be treated like that. Forget it online or CA shopping it is. Sorry just had to vent. My friend was with me she was furious lol but I agree with you I do see some customers like that.
Oh I understand Soksann! That store shuttles you through, and it doesn’t matter what you are wearing or what you spend! If you have an exchange they have only one manager doing the exchange who will judge you. I went in to exchange a defective product and he was insistent I can’t return it, not even listening to the fact that I was exchanging! Still having a problem with those, the next day I was able get help with a much nicer associate and it did help that another manager recognized me, but even the host was so disgusted that I had an exchange in my hand and asked for a specific manager! 😂 I can laugh at it now because I’m never going back to purchase anything!

I will never understand why customers are always in a rush or "I have an appointment, is this going to take long?" or the best one, "Do you mind...I'm on my lunch break." "I always spend so much here." like OKAY entitled bish with no time, all you're getting from me is this free eye roll and a suggested date to return when I have a day off. lol. Once I had a customer that wanted her money back without returning her clothes, my manager said "sales final, no refunds." the customer said: "I don't want a refund... I just want my money back." I had to pray for strength that day.

I had never believe it but seen it now. Customers demanding for champagne. There was a lady already intoxicated-she requested a glass of champagne. The employee smiled and said she will bring a glass politely. But when turn around I saw her eyes rolled and mumbled “No way, you had enough” and she never return out on the floor. Past 40 minutes. I see the lady asking every employee for a drink. I was dying hard! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

YES! i hate when people think because you spent a lot doesnt gives them the entitlement to have access to everything & feel like policies in place doesnt apply to them. i hate when ppl are in a hurry and claim they need to be served asap...when we are in the middle of a transaction or helping someone else. i never everrrrr understood this. Well, I think most of the sale associates are very snotty and looking down on casual dressed people!!! It happened to me twice when I walked into this LV store, I didn't get friendly welcome from these SAs. Their manners made me feel very uncomfortable so I didn't want to stay long to look for a bag that I wanted to buy.

You know the ones who are indecisive and on the phone or otherwise distracted and just don’t know what they want until someone else is suddenly holding something they had looked at. If I want the item, I just say I’m so sorry perhaps they can find another one for you. 🤣 But, I have had people want to fight me over something like that, it’s so unbelievable.

I just began my LV journey! I’m in my 60’s and will be retiring soon, and just moved to a new apartment. And wanted to celebrate and buy myself a LV-I’ve been wanting once since I was in my 20’s and couldn’t afford the handbags as I was raising my kids after my divorce. I decided to purchase a re-love LV. So I came across your videos which are awesome. But this one was so funny. What ever happened to wait your turn? If you’re in a hurry when you leave your house maybe you should have stayed home. I feel so special because I don’t act like the crazy customers that you have encountered. So happy my parent cared enough-rest their soul to teach us good manners and etiquette. Whenever me or my sisters wore dresses in the 60’s as most girls did most of the time. If we would do something like not bending our knees to pick up something off the floor, and just bend over. My mom would say, that’s not very ladylike let me show you how a lady picks up something off the floor. Whatever happened to acting like a lady or having good manners. Keep the videos coming. Love them.

That’s totally fine, as long as people are not taking an hour to do that! We hope they come back to the same CA once they decide. Its a lot of money to spend being undecided, so I understand. I would tell people, go have lunch and come back...
I have often bought bags after my first ‘undecided’ visits. Sometimes I walk in store to browse and on the occasions when I have received excellent customer service I, I have come back to buy to purchase. Thats how I got into luxury goods. 💙

i love seeing a different perspective and the stories are so amusing albeit a little cringey sometimes. (I don't shop too often at lux stores because of circumstances so always research the bag I want and what other bags are in the same style, look at reviews etc then I call the store in my city to ask if the bag is in. It makes for a very painless shopping experience but just once I would like to wander an LV/Chanel/Dior shop and leisurely look around, these types of videos help me think of these places as less intimidating! These things are extremely limited and a good amount of them don’t even get produced! Sometimes you have to get a manager involved and they have to pull strings and call other stores that they might have a good relationship with to get other store to release the item, if their customer didn’t already buy it. It is very difficult! You are lucky to get a hat! Thank you for watching! 💕
Oh I also mentioned in another video, sometimes a pre-order and full payment still is not enough!! You need to have your management nominate you to corporate and try hard to get it!

I used to work retail when I was younger but it was the exact opposite of Louis V. I work at Kmart, and Then Jcrew part time, so relatable. Honestly after those experiences I am basically an online shopper now.

I work specialty retail (Not necessarily luxury but we deal in specific products) and I've definitely gotten "I'm in a hurry" or "I have an appointment" more times than I can possibly count. Like if you have an appointment maybe go there first? These same people are usually on their phones.. That's the worst. They tell us to hurry and then we have to wait while they talk on the phone for 20 minutes. I will admit I've accidentally went behind the sales counter more than a few times at LV. In my defence at the stores I go to these counters are often in the middle of the room so its hard to tell sometimes what's a display and what's cash 😅

Make sure you keep the same CA Bec you will build a good relationship with them. Freebies and lots of respect. Make a aptt even .. exp if it's something your in a hurry ... And if you know what you want just go in ask for CA or make apt so she knows you'll be there and it will already be arranged 💕 from a lV collector for years these are my best tips for a good experience

When I was buying my first LV with my wife. My wife was looking at what bay to get and I started to wonder around. I saw a couple about to make a purchase and the guy goes to his wallet and throws his card on the table next to sale associate. I find that very disrespectful and I see people do that often in other places.
That is very disrespectful not only to the sales associate, but to his wife, and disrespectful to the way he treats his own money. I don’t understand that! Thanks for sharing!

I totally concur with all 5 points and seen some of them first hand too. Once whilst on holiday overheard a crass customer demanding she get a discount as she was planning to buy 2 bags, whilst flashing a wad of notes at the associate 😠. Sadly some people feel they are entitled as you correctly point out and that gives them a right to ride roughshod over others.
I must admit that I've been very blessed and lucky that throughout my 15+ years association with LV, I've always had brilliant and proactive CAs/SAs as well as Store Managers. Really appreciate all the hard work and hours they put it.

Ok, fess up. If a customer asks “how much is this?” Does your sales expectations instantly drop? Like…if they have to ask they can’t afford it kind of thing?
That’s a reasonable question, and there’s nothing wrong with asking that!
But you can usually tell by the manner that the person is asking…like if they’re jumping around the store, or if you give them the price and they say…”which bag can I buy for $500?”. 😁
I had a nasty experience with my friend in a boutique. My friend was trying on a bag and had to put her own personal bag on the counter. A customer saw her personal bag and took it for viewing. My friend was shocked and had to ask that customer to return the bag. That customer had the cheek to say that she wanted to look at it some more and she really like that bag. It took another 5 mins to persuade her to return with the aid of a SA. Totally ridiculous!

I rather do online shopping or ask my fabulous CA to order. It gets so overwhelming in the store. Not only that some LV employees are rude also. I was not dressy in joggers and tees I was next to be helped. I had a key pouch I wanted to exchange for a bag. LV employee told me you have to wait I dont do exchanges. So after waiting in line I waited at the counter. I was left there for 15 minutes. The manager a young guy said Ill send someone to help you. No one for an extra 15 minutes. I was so mad I ask again the same Manager. I just did an even exchange and left. This is Costa Mesa upstairs LV store!!! Sometimes I feel like the employees judges customers by what they have on. I am a mom rarely have time to look fabulous. Anyways I am a true fan of LV products. Never again I want to go to the store. I dont even feel like I have any perks with all the damn money I spent at the store to be treated like that. Forget it online or CA shopping it is. Sorry just had to vent. My friend was with me she was furious lol but I agree with you I do see some customers like that.
Oh I understand Soksann! That store shuttles you through, and it doesn’t matter what you are wearing or what you spend! If you have an exchange they have only one manager doing the exchange who will judge you. I went in to exchange a defective product and he was insistent I can’t return it, not even listening to the fact that I was exchanging! Still having a problem with those, the next day I was able get help with a much nicer associate and it did help that another manager recognized me, but even the host was so disgusted that I had an exchange in my hand and asked for a specific manager! 😂 I can laugh at it now because I’m never going back to purchase anything!

Once I had a customer that wanted her money back without returning her clothes, my manager said "sales final, no refunds." the customer said: "I don't want a refund... I just want my money back." I had to pray for strength that day.

I had never believe it but seen it now. Customers demanding for champagne. There was a lady already intoxicated-she requested a glass of champagne. The employee smiled and said she will bring a glass politely. But when turn around I saw her eyes rolled and mumbled “No way, you had enough” and she never return out on the floor. Past 40 minutes. YES! i hate when people think because you spent a lot doesnt gives them the entitlement to have access to everything & feel like policies in place doesnt apply to them.
i hate when ppl are in a hurry and claim they need to be served asap...when we are in the middle of a transaction or helping someone else. i never everrrrr understood this. WHY ARE YOU SHOPPING IN A HURRY FOR?!?! especially when they have a appt elsewhere, they have to pick up their kid/whomever, or need to be elsewhere. like it makes no sense at why you would stop somewhere but you have to somewhere in a time slot. like excuse me? honestly, we hated this so much and we are all only human and going as fast as we can. but someone acts like that..sorry we are gonna go slower now.

Well, I think most of the sale associates are very snotty and looking down on casual dressed people!!! It happened to me twice when I walked into this LV store, I didn't get friendly welcome from these SAs. Their manners made me feel very uncomfortable so I didn't want to stay long to look for a bag that I wanted to buy.
