Congratulations! I’m so happy that you addressed the vachetta patina. I’m so tired of people treating the patina as a defect or an indication of excess wear. I love the patina. When I bought my first Speedy, I thought it was defective when it was new and pale.

Personally, the more the patina of the leather changes, the more I like it. I gives it a vintage look.
I love when the vechetta (spelling?) patinas and shows signs of wear. I’m not going to “baby” a monogram bag because I’m afraid of the vechetta (spelling?). I bought the bag to use it and to add “my own” story to it. Thanks Michelle :)

The pieces that I have bought are always available during the holiday season so this makes perfect sense. I knew it was worth it to hold off and wait for the pieces I want instead of panic buy cause at the end of the day luxury items are still just things that make us happy they are not a necessity. Thank you so much for this video… much needed clarification ☺️ I panic bought so much LV last month lol . I did an unboxing on my channel and scored a reverse monogram Pochette Metis ( I love it)
It was pure luck when I was able to get the pochette accesories when visiting Vegas last month. I asked the CA who was assisting us if they have that out of curiosity. ( I told him, it was a silly question because that bag was never available online) When he replied " yes, we do! we have one that came in this morning", my eyes lit up. He went and got it and even showed me the mini pochette. Long story short, I bought it in a heartbeat. I was so happy.

Great video. The first thing germans do before using any of their new leather shoes or bags is protect them with some kind of water proofing spray e.g. Collonil Carbon Pro. When I lived in Portugal that was not a thing as is possible to avoid the rain. Honestly with the amount of unpredictable rain we have the whole summer if we would not impregnate our leather items we would not be able to wear anything else besides rubber boots and plastic bags and of course LV canvas😊.

Hey! Thanks for the special video on Monogram canvas. I am always a bit unsure if it was monogram or damier ebene which came out first. My favorite one is the men’s damier graphite. Regarding fakes they are definitely everywhere nowadays. However, definitely less in the more expensive leather LV bags.

Wellll, sort of. If you're a high value client the SA's will go the extra distance to source an item for you. So if you buy a lot during a year or years they not only remember you they will raise their level of service. This is just reality.

I think that LV in all locations might be different. In my local store, almost all the employees have been there for 7 years+. I assume if they stay for that long, the conditions might not be this bad. Then again it depends from area to area. I also do not have any issues of response from any LV employee. Unless she is on holidays she always responds. She even responded a Sunday at 22:00. I thought she would respond Monday morning but she did on a Sunday and I was quite surprised, even I would not respond a work mail on a Sunday.
It does depend on your store and region, store goals, store manager…but I’m also hearing that seniority doesn’t matter anymore 😩 Thank you for that info…most CA’s will respond to reasonable questions 😄

I’m considering purchasing an empriente small compact wallet and I am torn between the Rosalie Empriente and the Empriente business card holder. Do you have any advice on choosing between the two? World tour bumbag for me next lol. I love variety vachetta or no vachetta. I have noe bb, petit noe, and speedy 25b vachetta and my pochette metis vachetta. Love them. My ebene love them too but the treated leather gets wrinkly. Vachetta yea patina and ebene treated leather normally wrinkles. Cant all win! Love you and your reviews always. I love my SA sometimes she couldnt get what I want but Im not going to b*tch at her. Im trying to get into LV leather but I dont love them as much as my canvases. Sorry Michelle just ranting. I just bought LV timeout sneakers in LV Oslo, Norway when I had my vacation late July this year and I just found out that after wearing the shoes few times , the shoe has cut on its leather under the sewn part of the shoe. is it possible to have it check in my place which is here in Zürich, Switzerland? Recently I have bought a pochette metis and the flap monogram is not in line/symmetrical with the bag. If I would send for an exchange, they only have made in Italy in stock. I bought it online and I wanted it to be Made in France. Need your advice pls.. :))

I just got my first alma bb in monogram , personally I was in love with the patina turn to the golden honey , but what I just concerned is the water mark , I was worry abt the watermark , may I ask if there a way to prevent from water mark or spot , thank you 💖
hmmm...really no, I can't advise from a client advisor perspective, it gives the bag character! But you can see what other youtubers do. Just keep in mind that anything you apply may change the leather!

I bought a neo BB back in late may received mid June and I’ve noticed that the vachetta strap has some rippling? Not even where folds to attach to the bag , it’s on random spots I’m not sure if that’s normal or if they will be willing to exchange the strap

(Sorry for the slightly different topic!) Hi there! Are u aware of any change in LV perfumes' formula? I just purchased online Orage (my fav!) and it is nothing close to what it was last year. Last year I purchased it from the store in Stockholm, and it was super powerful and long lasting. This time I purchase it online, and it is very weak and even the smell is not the same... I am super disappointed. Even when you spray it, it is very weak and disappears within an hour... it no longer has that strong patchouli smell, but is somewhat sweeter... a diluted and changed version of Orage imo... Thank you in advance!

I sprayed my Celine bag with weather protecting silicone sprayed..as recommended by the shoe repair guy..the knotting of the ends of the stitching loosened ….I will never treat a bag with anything again….it was a wonderful rare Phoebe Philo bag.

My only LV bag was the black epi st. Jacques..that was my only bag for 10 yrs…never set it on the floor…it remained perfect(except handles)because of the thick plastic coating on the leather…..I bought a fake from Japan that was spray painted on eBay…it was easy to see that it was fake with the scratches.
What happens if the canvas cracks, and the bag is less than 2yrs old?? Will LV do a free replacement??

Vachetta is gorgeous … it’s a lot more beautiful once it patinas
To me, it’s not about the brand, it’s all about the design and whether it is easy to use and stuff ... do find some Vuitton bags’ zippers are 👎🏻 whereas the Loewe bags zippers are 👍🏻 with good quality leather too ... JUST that I don’t really like a lot of their bag designs 😝
8:46 - If you are looking for a speedy in monogram, you can go for the world tour edition and change the lining and vachetta leather. Only cons are that you will be forced to put at least 1 sticker on the bag and it is more expensive. There are some discrete stickers and the piece will be a MTO so it is worth the higher price. At least you are guaranteed to get what you ask for.
This is true, although I never sold a speedy world tour! The Neverfull and Palm Springs Mini were the more popular models to personalize, and you can choose black handles! Great point!

I would say 75 to 80% of the message boards for LV are people worried about marks on the Vachetta. It’s leather. It’s meant to look worn in! I’ve bought bags from actual leather manufacturers and they tell you to age it naturally. Why are you buying a bag with leather trim if you don’t like leather? 😅

I’ve seen a lot of counterfeited LV canvas but I can still easily spot if it’s fake. No matter how good they are at copying and perfecting stitches, for some reason, they can’t copy the exact color of the print of the canvas, monogram or DE.
Yes, the color is a dead giveaway!

I get strange look esp in restaurant cus I won’t hang of chair or put on floor n even if table is full I as for chair for my bags 💼
That’s right, I don’t hang on the back of my chair either. The finer restaurants have a little mini chair for your handbag.
Oh of course Lv isn’t going to tell any costumer to spay Apple guard on their bags… for if the costumer messes it up then lv responsible for they screw up.. duh
