It’s Clover sleeping and making his little sounds for me, too cute! 🐶💗 Old Girl” is the one! Belt & Bow is a little too much though. If you want to wear the belt too, instead… wrap the organza overlay around your waist so that it’s smoother then put the belt on top. That might work? Break a leg! 🎼
ole girl is totally it. She gives you an elegant presence. It's perfect with the petticoat and either belt. What a gorgeous dress! The plaid is cute, but it's giving summer picnic. The skirt is gorge, but Ole Girl is a MOMENT.. Thank you for including us in this decision - wishing you an incredible experience this weekend!!
Thanks for the Clover overdose!!! He is utterly adorable..... Your first outfit is good, but did you not say no red? The third outfit - old girl - looks fabulous! Thanks for the laughs....made my day! Gotta love Vlogmas!!!
"To the cluurb" 😂 Also, that's the best part of living in Europe, hopping in the car and just popping over to another country. So cool you had that experience growing up!
The black dress has a snap button on the plunging neckline that you’re supposed to snap together in order to close it a little higher up and avoid any unnecessary reveals. (I can see both sides of the snap closure in the video, so I know it’s there.) Snap that closed and ol’ girl is the right choice. Some simple but sparkly jewelry and it’s the vibe. Sometimes the most simple look is the best. YOU want to be the focus- not your clothes. Edited to add- the red and black is good too, but the skirt needs to be pulled up to your natural waist and whatever top you wear needs to be tucked in rather than pulled down over the top of the skirt. It’ll give it a classier, more tailored look.
Wow, the Adriana Papell wrap is gorgeous, you should definitely wear it. Hard to choose between the red skirt and the black dress, they are both so beautiful. The black dress is extra sophisticated. I like the idea of wearing both at different events. Such a fun video!
Ok I think ol girl with Adrianna and the belt. See how it looks if you cross the shirt’s tie in front and then see if you can tuck the ties in the belt. Don’t know if that would work but it would make the belt stand out. They are all fantastic outfits no matter which you choose to wear!
One and three for concert looks since you don't have to wear the same thing both nights. On the dark, YT recommended Ceilia to me three years ago and I was hooked from the start. Her videos are why I have my current attitude toward winter. Lean into the dark. No amount of complaining makes the sun come back any earlier. Maybe it is being descended from Swedes going waaay back. But I like the dark. Embrace it.
Old gurl is ol reliable and we love her for it. Hear me out on the plaid; a deep red almost oxblood or deep forest green turtleneck under the plaid. IF you can find ballon sleeves, that may give something to the look. Potentially cinching the waste of the plaid with a black belt is also an option. For the red and black skirt, I would just keep whatever top tucked in so it elongates your frame. I also thing a black turtleneck maybe one that’s form fitting might be lovely with the skirt as well.
That last dress served! We need a diva Kay moment. 😍 I started watching Cecilia’s videos after moving to Upstate NY from NC. It helps me keep things in perspective whenever I’m cold or walking through the snow. ❄️ 😊
Special note about your sweet Clover: It was a Cavalier Spaniel that pushed my family over the line to go ahead and adopt our little furbaby, Max. We knew we really wanted a dog, but we lived in an apartment and couldn't get a big dog (time commitment), so we had begun considering small breeds, but were TOTALLY overwhelmed and undecided, THEN we met this cute little Spaniel named Lucy at Bloomingdale's in Chicago, and she did it! We knew we were in the market for a dog similar to her and SOON. Eventually, we found our sweet baby and we are forever grateful for our happy accidental run-in with a precious Cavalier. IYKYK! Our baby is a Havanese, Cairn mix, but he's every bit as cute and sweet and we're blessed to have him. Go Cavis!!
Also.. Puppies: I did the whole puppy thing a couple times. My first dog as an adult was a Cocker Spaniel. She was a bit difficult to potty train when I was working full time. She was an only dog, lived 14 yrs. Dogless 3 yrs, discovered Cavaliers and got my puppy Joey. He was much easier to train, he was so smart and eager to learn and I taught him a lot of words. Two yrs later I was home more & wanted a second Cavalier and felt it would be good for Joey to have a sibling. Contacted Joey’s breeder and she helped narrow down the right personality to complement Joey and not challenge his dominance. I was open to any age and hoped for a female this time. We came home with 2 yr old Sadie and she gave Joey more confidence, she had his back when he was defending the property from things like the squirrels in the tree lol, and they did everything together. Joey thrived as a big brother, and he taught Sadie our routines and would demonstrate when I would say a word. Training was so easy when they have a dog showing them the ropes! After Joey passed at 12, Sadie became depressed so back to the breeder where after several introductions, she took to Hailey, our current Cavalier, who was 4 at the time and more submissive so wouldn’t challenge our old girl for top dog. Suddenly Sadie was alert & happy and showing Hailey all the things that Joey taught her! And again, training was super simple. Hailey just turned 14 in Oct. We were going to get another after we moved last year but life got in the way. It would be nice to keep the training going, and I can’t imagine not having a Cavalier at some point, but Hailey may not be up to it now as she has recently been having good & bad days. You know Clover best, if you think he wouldn’t like or benefit from having a sibling around then you have your answer. If having a sibling might actually be positive for him and you’re open to it, then go for it! Yes some things like poop & bills are doubled, but so are the benefits and Cavalier kisses, love & antics!🥰
I'm voting for Old Girl all the way. Maybe you can get a fun belt? Or a fun shawl? The red flower skirt is my 2nd choice. But they said not to wear red, so if I were you I wouldn't chance it. The plaid dress is too plain, tbh.
The black dress looks great with the sheer top. Maybe you don’t need a sparkly belt or maybe not as ‘blingy’. 😅 I think that’s the one to wear. Love the skirt and sheer top - with a beautiful black plain top underneath for other events. You look terrific in your outfits. ❤
I love all your dresses! I love your red and black skirt...looks fabulous. I also love the classic look of Ole girl -definitely best with the petticoat. The white and black dress with Adriana gave me Jane Austen vibes from the back. It is still super cute but it doesn't give me amazing soloist vibes. Clover snuggles are the best. My dog is head shy too. Another dog would be wonderful for him.
The plaid dress with the sheer wrap is giving Karl Lagerfeld in the Regency era, but in a good way. I think the plaid could look good if you put the wrap underneath actually. So the dress is more of a pinafore. But it would be a very avant garde vibe so it depends what you're going for.
I love Old Girl with Petticoat and Bling Belt. Also liked the plaid dress with the Adrianna but I'm not in love with it when you turn around. Red and Black skirt was so pretty too.
My favorite is the black dress with the petticoat and bling belt (but without the sheer top addition)-it gave “classic beauty” vibes. My second favorite is the skirt-would the petticoat add any oomf to the skirt? Although the black and white plaid was really nice, I think it’s not a great choice for a solo on stage. You’re going to be beautiful no matter what you choose ❤ (side note and unrelated: I lived in a little town between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt a decade after you were there!)
Glad Clover is doing well. My Cavaliers all developed slight heart murmurs at around Clover’s age and never progressed, so hopefully he will do the same.🩷Good grocery haul! That tea looks delicious ! Concert dresses: You have some nice choices! Adrianna needs to have her tags taken off cuz she is going to be a real staple in your wardrobe! My favorite is Old Girl and Adrianna!! That says Soloist to me! Love that red & black skirt outfit but they said no red, so will have to save it for another time cuz she is cute!!
You look so lovely in everything. The plaid is a small enough pattern though that I think it would look muddy from afar. Have you tried the sheer jacket with the ends wrapped around and tied in the back?
You are a diva, own that for a night…Old Girl is gorgeous, and the skirt with Adriana and the cami tucked in is so close…you really look lovely in them all. You wear clothes beautifully, Kay!
My dog went to the vet today, we have the same conversation every time. I swear we're all just out here living the same life?? My dog has a grade 4 murmur, he's on borrowed time but you couldn't tell by looking at him. I'm so glad clover is doing well!
Like the red and black skirt with top tucked in. A tank with a shinier fabric. The one you had on was too matte. Nope pattern dress is too casual with the sheer top. Old girl is very nice, the silver belt spices it up. Nope not with glitter belt.
I like the first skirt with your sheer cover, tank tucked in. Also really like ol' girl dolled up with the belt and sheer cover. Can the sheer be tied around back? The tie is not bad in front though.😊
One of my cats always climbs into the cabinet with the hole for the trashcan at the vet! I really like option 1; however, didn't you say you can't wear red? I do like the old girl with the petticoat and bling belt, too, but not as much as option 1. You have a very nice face. I like your face; don't tell us to ignore it! ❤Diane in Denmark pronounces hygge the same as you. I love all Clover content!! I hope to meet him one day! I now know not to pet his head!
Human note: Thought you couldn't wear red(?). Anywho, the black and white plaid makes you look like a pretty present! LOVE it! I think that cover up would make almost anything look good. Old Girl and Adriana - DIVA!!!!!!!! Old Girl beat the crap outta New and Cute (and she's new and cute). WOWZA!!
I really like the red skirt with the first 2 top options, I feel like it's Christamasy but didn't you say no red? I do also like the dress and I prefer the bling to be showing. lol
Two thumbs up for Ol' Girl with the fancy belt but not Adrianna. I think that's just too much crinkly stuff and it hides the lovely lines of the dress. Something sparkly yet tasteful wrapped around your hair to echo the belt? But really, wear what makes you feel best.
In favorite order: 1-Old girl with the bling and petticoat. 2-I love the floral skirt with the black lace over bodice but, didn't you start out saying the only request was not wearing red? The wrap (Adriana) saves the plaid from appearing too casual, but you shouldn't let anyone see that the back is soo open.
Ole girl with Adriana is the winner. I like the skirt with Adriana and your shirt needs to be tucked in. The black and white is cute but not as good as the rest. You are of course beautiful in all 3!
It’s why God instructs Women to be modest it’s distracting! And can be a stumbling block for many men. The red and black is cute. The first one. I love ole girl with the decorative belt! Shes the one. With or without the shaw.
Omg I've been loving little leaf lettuce too! Every time I would buy a head of lettuce, it would always go bad before I was finished somehow 🥲 love putting it on my egg sandwiches
Old Girl is a classic for a reason. She ATE, left zero crumbs and brings all the boys to the yard. She screams SOLO SOPRANO and I’m here for her. 🏆💕
Ole girl is the one! 💃🏾
Red and black skirt is giving cozy Christmas, ole girl with the belt and Adrianna is giving winter queen! Both great options.
ole girl is totally it.
Ole Girl is giving - "Queen, I've arrived! 👑! I'm THAT girl!"
I loved the last dress, but maybe tie the shirt in the back or tuck the ends so the bling stands out more?
The black dress has a snap button on the plunging neckline that you’re supposed to snap together in order to close it a little higher up and avoid any unnecessary reveals. (I can see both sides of the snap closure in the video, so I know it’s there.)
Snap that closed and ol’ girl is the right choice. Some simple but sparkly jewelry and it’s the vibe. Sometimes the most simple look is the best. YOU want to be the focus- not your clothes.

Thank you! I’ve used that snap and…That snap is problematic 😂 I need to have a more reliable one sewn in!
Wow, the Adriana Papell wrap is gorgeous, you should definitely wear it. Hard to choose between the red skirt and the black dress, they are both so beautiful. The black dress is extra sophisticated. I like the idea of wearing both at different events. Such a fun video!
The long black dress with the black wrap and bling belt is the one!🎉
Ole girl for sure 😊..and they said no red so perfect
Ole Girl with Adrianna screams "SOLOIST"!!!!
Ok I think ol girl with Adrianna and the belt. See how it looks if you cross the shirt’s tie in front and then see if you can tuck the ties in the belt. Don’t know if that would work but it would make the belt stand out. They are all fantastic outfits no matter which you choose to wear!

Ol gal with the petticoat and bling belt!!! Obsessed!

Ole girl for the win
Yass, work them 👗 dresses Kay! Love 1st and ole girl 👏🏾. Love the plaid for concert, something outside casual ❤
That black and red skirt was cuuuuute, but we all need an ole girl in our lives, that has to be the winner!
Special note about your sweet Clover: It was a Cavalier Spaniel that pushed my family over the line to go ahead and adopt our little furbaby, Max. The red flower skirt is my 2nd choice. But they said not to wear red, so if I were you I wouldn't chance it.
The plaid dress is too plain, tbh.
Red skirt with Adriana top is my fave, followed by old girl. Plaid is my least fav and looks a bit too casual.
Definitely Ole Girl!
ALL BLACK EATS DOWN!!!!! ⚫️ 🖤 😍
The all black with the shawl thing. I also like the red skirt with the sheer lacy top. It was the top before the old lady top.
My husband spent 2 winters in the Canadian actic. About 1 hour of sun a day and a warm day was around -30 degrees. We moved south after that.
I like any of the skirt options with the top tucked in. It makes your proportions look much better :) And the plath dress, I love it!
I love the plain dress for a different event, but the old girl is it
Old girl with Adrianna is 🔥🔥🔥
I love all your dresses!
Ole girl with the wrap is sooo classy and elegant. Love it!!!
I love ole girl the best ❤
Ole girl with petticoat and bling!
Cecilia! I watch her too! It is so cozy and relaxing. I’m obsessed with polar night.
I love how you put together old girl!! 🎉
The plaid dress with the sheer wrap is giving Karl Lagerfeld in the Regency era, but in a good way. I think the plaid could look good if you put the wrap underneath actually. So the dress is more of a pinafore. But it would be a very avant garde vibe so it depends what you're going for.
Old Girl + petticoat + red Buffalo check obi sash + big silver flower on sash!
I love 3 outfits - lovely! The petticoats are a bit noisy when you move, not sure if that’s a problem❤
I love Old Girl with Petticoat and Bling Belt. Also liked the plaid dress with the Adrianna but I'm not in love with it when you turn around. Red and Black skirt was so pretty too.
Old girl!!!
I absolutely LOVE option #1… but “ol’ girl” option also EATS DOWN!!! 😍😍😍
I like Old Girl with a silver belt, no bling. Have a great day!
Lighting is everything. My office space is full of grow lights to try to brighten my day. Glad to see Clover doing well!
My favorite is the black dress with the petticoat and bling belt (but without the sheer top addition)-it gave “classic beauty” vibes. Yes, diva. Black on black
#1 definitely
Glad Clover is doing well. My Cavaliers all developed slight heart murmurs at around Clover’s age and never progressed, so hopefully he will do the same.🩷Good grocery haul! That tea looks delicious ! You look so lovely in everything. The plaid is a small enough pattern though that I think it would look muddy from afar. Have you tried the sheer jacket with the ends wrapped around and tied in the back?
I think the black and white one looks too casual for the occasion.
#choirgal
Like the old girl with the additional accessories. The belt is ok but maybe a different belt that shimmers like Adrianna or was it Audrey?
Red and black skirt is best
Option 3
You are a diva, own that for a night…Old Girl is gorgeous, and the skirt with Adriana and the cami tucked in is so close…you really look lovely in them all. You wear clothes beautifully, Kay!

Option 3, maybe 1
It kills me that every year people complain about the dark, it happens every year. No one likes it, but we do what we have to.
I've been watching Cecilia too! 😊 Did you know she wrote a book, Life on Svalbard? Like the black outfit, #1 pretty too tho you said no red I think? 😊
Dress rankings: 3, 1, 2
❤ 🐶 🛒 haul. 😎 to have a childhood in Europe. Old girl with the embellish belt ❤.
I like the first skirt with your sheer cover, tank tucked in. Also really like ol' girl dolled up with the belt and sheer cover. Can the sheer be tied around back? The tie is not bad in front though.😊

It’s okay, I can read upside down.😊
Seeing themselves in a mirror the first time😅
