- This is the driving experience on the most dangerous and strategic road in the Congo.
This road is the link to East Southern countries(zambia, Tanzania, Burundi) and Lubumbashi to DRC Congo.
Unfortunately this is how it looks like
No road signs, no side barriers,...
A single drop from the road top coud become a serious fatal accident.

Should that road get targeted, it will be one of the spectacular roads to drive on in the world. The landscape is amazingly beautiful. I enjoy this kind of winding road when I drive in Mpumalanga, RSA. This country is beautiful, it's just need proper infrastructure. Thanks for the video.

Same to me I used to go there from Bukavu every July to September during big holidays and I was staying with my uncles who were mini buses drivers to this deadly road, I used to stay on the Avenue Faza, I think it's 22 years ago. RIP uncle Masasu et Transit. I wonder why the government can't do something about this road😢

I was holding my breath the entire time throughout this video. The emotions of looking at such great scenery with really terrifying driving conditions. It makes no sense that the richest country in the world can't build proper roads for it people, I don't understand. The scenery, however, is unmatched 🙌🏾

Same here. I remember doing this road going to Bukavu from Uvira or part of it to Lemera. Unfortunately, nothing has changed.

good experience, please is it possible for me to travel from Tanzania through DRC to central Africa?
It is possible but most of roads in DRC are gravel, so you will rely on trucks sometimes in DRC. also alot of time
As a Kenyan it makes me sad what is happening to Congo with the exploitation of the wealth by outsiders..DRC Congo loses between $20- $30 Billion a year of its wealth being smuggled out .During the colonial times DRC had more then 5,000 km of paved road compared today less then 3,000 km .DRC was the second Industrial Nation after South Africa in 1960 .railway system that connected west and east of Congo.What went wrong?

@@kariuki8 the Belgians , French, Dutch and Australians mining houses are the biggest Looters and purveyors of corruption in the DRC. they supply arms to the Rebels to increase instability for these multinational benefit . The AU is very weak and seem not very concerned with the situation . Dr Arikana would be the right person to lead the AU. do not forget the Canadian companies .

Hi my friend. I am happy to know someone who was born in Luvungi. My father and mother were born in Luvungi when Arabs Muslim were living there in early part of last century during the 1930 and 1940s. They were very happy to see the video of Luvungi. Thank you.

@@Perfectafrika I was born in Bukavu. Originally I am from Sultanate of Oman. Now I am watching your video of Ngomo. I was traveling with my father to Uvura through Ngomo in 1980s. And you where are you now.

I drove this same road in March 2022. Worst road I’ve driven in my life. Left Uvira at 10am. Broke down in the mud on the mountain pass. My Landcruiser made it into Bukavu at 10pm. As an American I needed a 2 week gorilla tourism visa.
From 10 am to 10pm for just 120km road, IT IS TOUGH IN RAIN SEASON
