I’ve got issues with mine since the update. Transparency mode doesn’t work unless I toggle it off and on a few times in the settings and they keep disconnecting from my phone randomly.
Great video! I have Air Pod pro 2nd generation, will I be able to use these as hearing aides once the software comes out or would I need the new AirPod 2 version?
Thanks you for your sharing. The Airpods Pro 2 hearing aid is the adjustable wireless speaker and it is not real hearing aid. without iphone or computer or any smart phone, the Airpods pro 2 can hear nothing -- please correct me. Thanks
@@peterrasmussen3100 It's not fall until Sept 22nd... so it's technically still summer. Then Apple would have the duration of the season to fulfill that promise. That SAID! My guess is it will arrive with iOS 18.1 (you'll need iOS support too) which rumored for October.
Guys I’m still on the 6A305 update and the case is 60.82.0 I tried to update it to the new one but it doesn’t update at all, I tried various times and nothing
It's a mix. The hearing health features are just for AIrPods Pro 2. The head gestures are also on the new AirPods 4 (they require the H2 chip). The lower latency I think comes to multiple models, though Apple hasn't specified if there are limitations there. May be all of them.
It’s hard to believe that my AirPod Pro 2nd generation (May’23) ,a product I trusted for its premium quality, has already stopped working after 16 months. I used to think Apple products were built to last, but this experience has really shaken my confidence. Are we paying for the name, or the quality? I’m not sure anymore.
They barely lasted a year? That’s not normal. I’ve had my AirPods Pro 1 for years now and they’re still perfect. You probably just got unlucky with a bad pair because 1 year is way too short of a lifespan for AirPods.
If I was having Noise Cancellation issues, do you think they might be fixed now with this update? I have the Pro 2nd gen & I actually just recently took them to Apple to see if something was actually wrong with them, but they passed Apple's tests with flying colors... even though Noise Cancellation doesn't work on any mode; they sound the same whether Off, Adaptive, Transparency, or Noise Cancellation 😕 I've cleaned them & reset them & Apple says nothings wrong, but the difference between my personal Airpods & the ones my job just recently gave me is ✨astronomical✨ any thoughts from anyone would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
@@PartyGod@PartyGod That's not the way to update AirPods; it's just the iOS device. To update AirPods, charge the AirPods near the iPhone, and it should update automatically in half an hour or so. Check the AirPods settings and scroll down to see if it has the newest version 7A294.
You can't update AirPods manually. Leave the AirPods and the case near an iPhone with internet access, and they will update automatically. The updated AirPods version should be 7A294.
Too many fanboys in the chat. For people who’ve had iPods since 03 these advanced options were not available until several years later. Combined with the poor technology in headphones if not having proper noise canceling features, the damage has long been done. Those people are now 45+ and are going to benefit from the new hearing features of the pro.

Apart from the hearing aid functionality, will these features be available on AirPods 4 as well?
Many of them, yes!
I would and will be taking the hearing test.

Yes, it will be the only one to receive the gesture and other updates.
The voice isolation feature is 2 yrs late from Apple but well received by me.

Do you know what firmware update all this comes with ? My AirPods Pro 2 have what Apple says is the latest version 6F8. Thanks - good succinct update

AirPods firmware: 7A294
