Street Fighter EX plus Alpha on PS2 was soooooo good, an extremely underrated game. PS2 has so many amazing fighting games, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, Dead or Alive 2, Soul Calibur 2 and 3, Tekken tag tournament, Tekken 4 (another severely underrated game), Tekken 5 (which also includes Tekken 1, 2 and 3, Mortal Kombat deadly alliance, MK Deception, MK Armageddon (great game, lots of single player content and you can create characters like in Soul Calibur 3 but better - I managed to create characters on there that I'd written a story about and making a game including them), Capcom fighting Jam - its flawed and not well balanced but still super fun, Street Fighter 3 3rd strike, Super Street Fighter 2 turbo (includes the anime with that Chun Li shower scene, Vega attacks and she lightning kicks him through a wall, Guile turns up but she's already dealt with it like the Chad she is, not sure the word for a lady Chad?), and many more - also you can play PS1 games on it, so that includes the original Capcom VS SNK - the second one is amazing too but I still love the first one, oh i forgot - PS2 versions of various King of fighters games, including KOF maximum impact (Not perfect but so many awesome costumes for every character, my faves are K', Kula, Terry and Shermie, actually not sure if Kula and Shermie are in that one, but it has some new characters like Alba, he's pretty cool, there's some Samurai shodown games too, yeah PS2 is amazing for fighting games, not great for online (tho you can probably play most of these on fightcade 2 on PC), but fun to play single player still or even better, against a friend in the same room, with lots of trash talking because it's fun lol - also Quake 3 revolution's great for that, and has a couple characters from dungeon keeper 2, I worked on that but we used to play a lot of Quake 3 over LAN there, was so much fun, wish I'd had a chance to work on Quake 3's PS2 version tho, would have improved the controls but it's still great as it is - i think arena shooters are great for peeps who like fighting games as they're just as intensely competitive.
