    This is Havertz’s 4th full season in the premier league, he’s in a much better team, and he cost £65m. Jackson is playing his first season in the prem, he’s in a struggling team, and he only cost £30m. Despite this, Jackson still has more goals than Havertz and he’s proving his worth more

  • @Photosoflife
    @Photosoflife 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +104

    These pundits are very conveniently forgetting 12 goals and 6 assists in the EPL is the best season Havertz has ever had. And he’s played 4 seasons in the EPL. Jackson has 13 goals and 5 assists in his very first season with three matches to go and is a converted winger playing literally only his first full season as a striker in his professional career. Craig is literally the Exhibit A pundit who is going to be proven wrong about Jackson because he’d rather be “right” about criticizing a player like Jackson instead of actually being objective and having perspective. Jackson is only 22 and in his first season in England literally playing his first full season as a striker.

      @@MM-sc9vg And according to these pundits Havertz was “horrendous” in the midfield. You can’t write off the first half of the season and pretend like it didn’t happen for Havertz. The unbiased and objective reality is Havertz has settled into the Arsenal side very well up top and plays the 9.5 position for them very effectively. Aside from contributing quite a few goals and assists over the past three months, his general hold up play, link up play, physicality, and drawing penalties have been top notch. Jackson had next to no top flight experience before this season in general, let alone as a forward. Pundits like Craig offer zero perspective about Jackson if you regularly watch the show. Craig recently said Jackson offers nothing as a forward when the reality is he’s actually very good at dribbling, has a very good first touch, links up play well, runs the channels very well, is fast, physical, and tracks back. He needs to improve his finishing. Otherwise, he is actually a very good player. Craig is a dinosaur in many ways and has a huge ego. Once he decides he doesn’t like a player like Jackson (as an example), he has a really hard time actually seeing reality because he’d rather hold onto his original opinion until the bitter end instead of acknowledging players like Jackson need time to adapt, improve, and acclimatize to a new league and country. Craig literally said he could care less if Jackson scores in the rest of the matches this season, he still won’t rate him. That’s not being an objective pundit. That’s called having a bias and agenda. Something too many pundits in general have instead of just judging players based on their actual performances.

      The irony of your comment just a few days later after Jackson scored the game winner against Forest in the last few minutes of the match. Jackson is a massive talent. Anyone with actual football knowledge can clearly see that. His first touch, dribbling, pace, hold up play, running into channels, putting in dangerous crosses, being physical, and tracking back are all excellent. And he’s now scored not only 4 goals in his last three matches but had a goal disallowed 4 matches ago against Villa for being inches offsides and had another effort in that match hit the post. He’s up to 17 goals and 6 assists, with 14 goals and 5 assists in the Premier League. He’s only 22, in his first season in England, his first full season as a striker, and has massive upside.

    The jury is still out on Darwin Nunez at Liverpool after 2 seasons where he’s blown hot and cold and has been hit or miss particularly in front of goal and he’s continued to divide opinion. On paper he’s had a very good season, but when it matters the most he has crumbled and has missed so many easy chances that’ve costed them points which has led to them missing out on the premier league title after spending majority of the season in 1st place. It’s concerning that a 75 million striker in crucial games isn’t clinical enough and that’s been an issue for him and there’s literally a TH-cam compilation on the chances that hes missed and until he adds a ruthlessness about his game when it comes to the goals, he’ll never be classified as an elite striker. He’s not a terrible player, I think he brings a lot to the table going forward, but there’s a feeling that he’s not good enough to be Liverpool’s starting striker especially on a team that wants to win the premier league and compete for multiple trophies in a season. They have no choice but to rely on him even though at times he’s a problem for the team. Other than Mohamed Salah, who’s consistently scoring the goals for Liverpool and he’s not been at his best of late even though he got a goal and an assist against Tottenham after his team was out of the title race, Diogo Jota is one of the best finishers in the Premier League and his scoring ability is lethal, but in a season you can’t fully rely on him because he’s always injured, Cody Gakpo is also hit or miss and he’s still not guaranteed a regular starting spot in the team, Luis Diaz is full of energy and running and his dribbling is fantastic, we’ve known this about him for a while, but he needs to improve his finishing because he’s an exciting player to watch. Under the new manager Arne Slot, they have a good squad that he’ll try to get them to the next level and make that final push for the premier league title, I think what Liverpool are gonna do is give Nunez a season or 2 and if he continues to misfire and Jota keeps struggling with injuries, then they have to make a decision and they might even sign a new striker who can actually score goals in big games and stay fit throughout the season in all competitions.

    Drogba: 41 games - 16 goals
    Jackson: 41 games - 16 goals (Two games left to play)
    Jackson has 13 league goals. Drogba only got 10 and 12 league goals in his first two seasons. Havertz got 4 league
    goals.

      Drogba was playing in a defensive mourinho team that created little chances, but he still scored when needed. If Drogba played in the semifinal against city you bet he would have had a goal .Jackson doesn't score when needed but Drogba scored the winning goal in a lot of one nil mourinho grinders .that said we knew what were signing and he is a good signing for 30 mil because has meant to be backup as we did not expect nkunku to be injured all season.

    At best when everyone is healthy and they have a proper striker, Chelsea are a European team. Them competing for the premier league title they’re years away from that as they’re not at that stage of doing that. Top 4 getting back in the champions league is exactly what they’ll be striving for next season especially they get European football. That’s seen as an improvement for them because they finished 12th last season and that’s been the minimum for them. I’ve brought this up many times with this being a long term project building on the results in the present day and being patient when it comes to recruiting and the managerial role is what’s gonna make them an elite club again. The reason why I say that they can eventually get back in the top 4 is because obviously strengthen the squad even more by signing players that’ll elevate the team rely on core players and hopefully the players can stay healthy because injuries has been their biggest Achilles in the last 2 seasons. This depends on who the manager is because is Mauricio Pochettino the right manager for the short or long term. They’re not consistent enough because of the injuries and unpredictability of results as well, Chelsea’s squad is very young and they’re trying to get back on the right track even if it’ll be inconsistent.

  • @tobaepebinuade5830
    @tobaepebinuade5830 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Kai Havertz having more non penalty goals in the premier league than Cole Palmer, same thing with Nicolas Jackson having more non penalty goals in the premier league than Mohamed Salah Cole Palmer Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka is another example on why when watching games, people need to use their eyes and stop just judging everything off the stat sheet and this whole “stat driven culture” is why nobody takes football seriously. Stats can be used as an indicator what a player can do, but they don’t tell the full story unless you watch the games because sometimes numbers are misleading. Because Jackson has scored 13 PL goals without taking a penalty that means he’s better than Salah and Havertz, same with Havertz over Palmer. It’s true that Nicolas Jackson isn’t a flop because he’s had a good season from a statistical perspective with 16 goals and 5 assists in all competitions and at times he looks good and he does things very well but he misses so many chances. In the premier league he has 13 goals, 4 of them came against Tottenham including one of the worst hat tricks I’ve ever seen. People that look at numbers without watching the games would praise a guy for scoring a hat trick against a team with 9 men. Both Jackson and Darwin Nunez would win a Ballon Dor for the amount of easy chances they miss in front of goal.Anyone who watches the games knows that. So by this logic, Cole Palmer is better than Vinicius Junior because in a more challenging league on a weaker team he has more goals and assists than him this season. It’s like watch the games please because the proper way in judging how well a player played in a season if with your eyes in combination with the stat sheet. For god sake we have eyes for a reason stats aren’t everything.
