I've got a Harry Potter theory for you. Neville Longbottom was never bad actually at magic. Neville has always been the kid that never gets anything right, he's clumsy, he can't brew potions... and his spells never work. But that's not his fault, it's his wand's, or more specifically, his Dad's wand's fault. "The wand chooses the Wizard" this is phrase repeated all throughout the books. When Harry tries to use the wand that Ron stole from one of the Snatchers in the last book, it didn't work because it hadn't chosen Harry, and he hadn't gained the right to use by taking it from the previous owner. Neville had been using his Dad's wand, but it hadn't chosen him, and he hadn't forcefully taken it from his Dad so he hadn't gained the right. But in the fifth book, his wand broke during the fight in the Department of Mysteries. In the next year, Neville shows Harry the Wand that his Gran had just bought for him. It was a wand that had chosen him when he bought it. His magical abilities slowly started to improve throughout the year. It improved to the point that he was able to rebel in his last year and fight along side everyone else. Opinions?

Tori Whelan as soon as I heard the question I was shaking my head. I knew what they meant, but the pronunciation made me laugh. Then they compounded the error by saying I've never heard of a wizarding school called Ettin (which is oddly a two headed giant). I knew she was in Ravenclaw because when I was first sorted into that house(Before reading the books or watching the movies.) it listed notable people in my house. But of course I didn't know a single one of them because again, the sorting was the first HP related thing I participated in. It mentioned Moaning Myrtle and Lockhart and a few others. I asked my brother who these people were for some reference and I was a bit disappointed upon learning the identity of both of those previously mentioned. Tori Whelan as soon as I heard the question I was shaking my head. I knew what they meant, but the pronunciation made me laugh. Then they compounded the error by saying I've never heard of a wizarding school called Ettin (which is oddly a two headed giant). Sadly I am enough of a potterhead to think "It's Eton and it's a muggle school".

Missed the Band Wagon Also, she's wearing a Ravenclaw tie in the movies during the flash back. I know the scene is in septa tones but you can just barely tell if you really look.
I knew she was in Ravenclaw because when I was first sorted into that house(Before reading the books or watching the movies.) it listed notable people in my house. But of course I didn't know a single one of them because again, the sorting was the first HP related thing I participated in. It mentioned Moaning Myrtle and Lockhart and a few others. I asked my brother who these people were for some reference and I was a bit disappointed upon learning the identity of both of those previously mentioned. Though now I love Lockhart because he's frickin' hilarious.
But that's always stuck with me and I'll never forget that at least by our houses I have something in common with an obsessive and whiny 40 year old girl who hops into the tub with a 14 year old boy.

I know some of those questions that you couldn't get. Like what house Myrtle was in, Mosag's name, Harry Potter's vault number, and what year Ollivander's was founded. The year Ollivander's was founded, and Harry Potter's vault number was in the first movie. Fluxweed and Mosag's name is mentioned in the second book, I think that second is. Though I do have a Harry Potter quiz app, which includes that question. I have four HP apps on my phone, all seven books, and watched all seven movies in a marathon, so I remember a lot. It's always funny when you do videos together!

Hey! I live in Minnesota (and am a major Pixar fan)and this summer they have an exhibit at the Science Museum of Minnesota called "the Science behind Pixar" and today, I finally was able to go! It was so amazing, explaining how they create these amazing films, and they had tons of hands on activities. Made me think of you because of your guys' love for Pixar too!
