    Sir i have rib flare and also my waist is uneven( uneven waist) in left side. Does Ribs flared cause uneven waist??

      It's definitely possible for rib flare to cause uneven hips, but from my experience I see more that uneven hips can cause rib flare. They could also be independent issues, so a thorough evaluation from a professional would tell you what you need to work on most.

      For most it will be, but ease into it. Diastasis recti is a hallmark symptom of poor core stability and control.

      That'll always depend on the individual and the severity, but I'd recommend doing this routine every day for two straight weeks. With consistency over that amount of time, you should start to see noticeable changes!

    Hi Doc! Question - how does one determine if you have atp or rib flare? I've tried to correct my atp with stretches and exercises, but always seem to return to an atp. Then yt suggested "rib flare" vids, along with "duck feet" vids. They're all connected?

      Usually, an APT and rib flare go hand in hand. We like to call it an "open scissor" position in the biz. The system is all connected, so it just depends on where your biggest movement restrictions are. Unfortunately there isn't a one size fits all exercise. It takes consistency of the right moves emphasizing what I call the "3 R's." REDUCE tension, RESTORE motion, and REINFORCE with strength and stability. These are the foundational principles in my Anterior Pelvic Tilt Correction program. I hope that helps!

      I wouldn't say it's a common issue, but anything is possible. I'd say it's more likely that digestive issues could cause rib flare depending on what's going on.

      I’m sorry to hear that. If your body isn’t use to doing deep breath work, that can be a common effect. Especially for someone who is asthmatic. I’d suggest working with a local movement professional for further guidance.

    Hey question I’m wondering if I have rib flare to begin with. So honestly when I lay down my ribs stick out like crazy, but when I stand up my upper body looks so wide and when I put on shirts my chest sticks out so much making it look like I lift lol, are those signs of rib flare?

      They certainly could be. If you have too much tension in your back muscles it’ll expand or push out your rib cage and thorax anteriorly or towards the front.

    I got a flare ribs on my right and everytime i put pressure on the ribs on the right and lean side to side i feel my ribs moving and a friction on the right side is that normal ?

      It’s tough to know what’s causing it without an evaluation. Your liver sits right underneath your rib cage on the right side so you could be feeling the friction between those structures

    Sir my upper part of ribcage is normal in width but as i move down is become narrow in width and is elongated toward the outward direction i mean toward chest because of this my body as become pear shaped because my hip bone width is also large my chest look like i have gynecomestia because of this is there any exercise i can perform to increase the width of my lower part of rib cage
