The Queen of Interpolations will always be Beverly Sills... but I really love them in her prime... yes they distort the musical meaning and sometimes you even say: wtf is all that HALABALUBA but I usually love them... after all Callas interpolated a crazy cadenza up to Eb6 in her 1951 Turco because Visconti asked her to... and June always sounds so much within the context as if she never falls out of a coconut tree :D
Once again a fabulous clip of the Diva herself the brilliant June
Quelle merveille; quelle année et où ?? Merci
Grazie Theo. Bel saggio della Anderson❤

sustained laser beam E6 8:40
@@LohengrinO Yes! The whole thing! I’m not a big follower of her but this is just outstanding!!
8:40 the sacred angel’s arrow pierces through the dense clouds!
I saw this production twice in La Fenice in the late 80s .
On the flesh she was stunning . Elena Zilio was Agnese .
Thank you for posting this brilliant clip

Thanks, dear Lohengrin 🥰❤😘
Seems like American sopranos LOVE interpolations... to an excessive extent however 😐😑😮💨😢
