The orichalcum your looking for is still in the battleground and is called rarefind orichalcum you get in the overlooked caverns where u found it in the second act. Get then go to the crucible

You made one slight error in your video. It needs to be rareified orichalcum to make a vanilla sword of light. I had regular ori and got to the crucible only to get told i missing something. So i went to the battlegrounds...
Uber agate of evolution tip : cast holy protection and sail the north seas (north of snifelheim) to encounter squidzilla, easy steals with erik all day.
There is a much easier and faster way to get the Uber Agates of evolution btw. Go to the sea above Sniflheim and sail around the snowy part till you get to the island and just go back and forth till you get an enemy called Squidzilla and use Eriks “Half Inch” skill to steal from it, and you can get and Uber agate for free really, then finish the fight and repeat till you get 2
I don’t understand can I make the legendary sword multiple times? the end of the story you can give away your sword. So making multiple legendary’s weapons would really help.

I had the same problem, make sure you got the right orichalcum. The normal one doesn't work. You need to get the rare one you get when you go to the 6th floor of the old battleground and enter the overlooked cavern. Maybe this will help you.
Just to let you know, I have a better sword +171 atk at +3. Is called "espada del jucio" in spanish, it has to be something like judge sword in english. I get it as a drop in one of the monsters in the isle trial (normal monster no boss) at the first trial in the first map, but i don't remember the monster.
That sword isn't better than the supreme sword of light as this sword will have +196 attack at +3. And then there also is the evolving sword in the game that isn't hero only that will also be +196 attack at +3. But else yeah the Sword of Judgement is a great sword and can be crafted/farmed as many you want. While this sword and the evolving sword are unique.

maybe you lack something. if the chamber wont open there's a high chance you haven't see the miko quest she will give you the key to the chamber, well either that or you miss the havens above for the flame.
Well, you get the stardust sword in a chest in the final dungeon. If you missed it there you can get it in the first forest whale way station. You then get a recipe in the Tower of Lost Time. You upgrade it to the Nebula Sword. Then in Trial Isle in the Disciple's trial you get another Recipe book. Make the Supernova Sword. The final recipe comes from making all 5 wishes.
Just to let you know, I have a better sword +171 atk at +3. Is called "espada del jucio" in spanish, it has to be something like judge sword in english. I get it as a drop in one of the monsters in the isle trial (normal monster no boss) at the first trial in the first map, but i don't remember the monster.
You need to go to the battlefield again, pick up a rare orichalcum (like when you made your first sword of light on act 2), go to Galopolis, one of the horse races gives away the hammer, and to access the forge you need to go to the volcano again in Hotto

I know I am super late, but you can actually use the normal sword of light to break the barrier, without having it in your hands Just have it in your main characters inventory and use it as an item
I feel like late game Hero and Hendrick become mandatory, with your third and fourth slots being some combination of Serena/Veronica/Rab or *maybe* Sylvando. -Hendrick is an incredible support with tank abilities like Forbearance and absurd defence stats, he has single target healing and Kabuff/Magic Barrier. He also outputs solid damage with Gyrfalcon Slash (I personally used sword and shield with him, since I had hero on greatswords). -Hero is the best damage dealer late game, with the highest attack stat and access to Unbridled Blade and Sword Dance (which of these does the most damage I'm not sure). He has Omniheal which makes him a good backup healer when necessary but he is first and foremost a damage dealer. -Serena is the best healer in the game with a very high magical mending stat that makes her Multiheal very potent, and she also learns omniheal for when necessary. She has Kabuff as well, but primarily she will be casting multiheal most turns in postgame bossfights. -Veronica provides good AoE offensive magic damage for a few fights that have trash monster summons to annoy you alongside the main boss, but most of her usefulness lies in her buff/debuff potential with Magic Barrier, Oomphle, Sap and Blunt. Sap does become more reliable later in the game where Ice/Disruptive Waves to remove buffs on the party are more common. Her primary issue is survivability as she is very squishy - I gave her all of my HP/Def/Resilience seeds to offset this. -Rab has solid magical mending and magical might stats, his AoE is decent and his ability to heal the party is solid but not as strong as Serena's, especially since he lacks Omniheal. He lacks Magic Barrier, Kabuff and Oomphle but still has Blunt and Sap. He can remove curses, which is significant for a very late postgame boss - but I opted to not take him and used anti-curse accessories instead. -Sylvando feels like his usability severely tapers off in postgame (he was a core party member for me up until postgame) as his AoE heals through Hustle Dance become less impactful and the rest of his utility is decent AoE damage and Oomphle. Jade is just damage and healing but slightly worse than Hero. Erik just doesn't seem useful in boss fights since setups like Cobra Strike/Divide/Victimiser or Divide/Critical Claim aren't as consistent to get as just having hero spam his best damage skill onto a sapped target.
@@everice3310 The setup for Erik is worth it imo. Honestly once poison lands just divide and oomphle Erik. Sap is a nice extra but not mandatory. So the only thing you have to be weary about is landing the poison which is like a 2/3 chance of it happening.
Problem with Divide and Oomphle is that they're buffs and lategame bosses have a fondness for firing off Disruptive Waves every other turn. It definitely feels like the more buffs you have up, the more likely they are to neutralise you. That's why I rate sap a bit higher than Oomphle later on, since bosses don't neutralise themselves.

I do use both the super and the supreme swords as a dual wield. I do believe that you should craft it and try it out for a little bit, but if the possible grind for materials is too much, you can go without it. General rule says the best: Greatsword: brilliant blade or metal king greatsword Dual wield: supreme SOL (main hand) and super SOL (offhand) Sword and shield: Supreme SOL and pretty much any shield
If you do falcon slash you do more DPs with supreme Sword of light and hypernova equipped than any ability with the great Sword abilities and brilliant blade.
So what's the downside to falling when you make one of these weapons? Like the stellarang and so on, it says i fail to craft it but the weapons can't go to +3 anyway? So what am I missing?
I think most weapons if not all can go to +3! So If You fail it will just turn out normal! but these weapons can go to +3! (not the 2 versions before it) but the weapon from the final recipe can!
Isn't it obvious? If you fail while forging weapons, you'll have to use Perfectionist Pearls to improve them up to +3, if that's what you want. And if you suck at forging, you're going to have to buy pearls. And they cost a LOT. If you need 3 attempts to finish a weapon, that'll set you back 60,000 gold. So you'd best forge well, or keep on forging simple shit that'll give you pearls for successfully pulling of the novice work.
The highest forging level is 5 stars. And there's nothing different about failing to forge them well. The same rule applies: you still get your weapon, no matter how they turn out. But the best weapons are just that more expensive to improve if you fail the first time. However, you CAN'T forge the best weapons until you've leveled up A LOT. The Fun-Forgery thing levels up with you, and the higher its level, the more forging options become available to you. So if you try to forge legendary weapons before you're, say, at level 70 or so, you won't be able to forge a 5 star sword to +3, for example. You'll still get the sword in its vanilla form, as long as you have the materials. But you WANT it at +3, don't you? And to do that, you need access to all the forging options that you get later on. And besides, I don't think you can forge the best weapons until Act 3 anyway, because certain materials are only available in areas that are closed off before then. But you can still craft 3 or 4 star weapons fairly early on.
Horse racing is easy enough up until gold on difficult but that one is still winnable. Platinum and black are just bullshit if you touch a single wall you lose!
On black you don't even have to touch a wall to lose, you can do really well but only perfection on every corner or a bit of rng can help you(I twice in a row finished with the same time but only won one of those)
This is NOT the best sword. It pales next to the Brilliant Blade, which you get from completing the Wheel of Harma trials. All the light swords are useless, and I only used (one of) them at the very end, because I was supposed to...
Kinda depends on what you will do. Yes a greatsword is extremely powerfull on single target or on a group of enemies. But as soon you get multiple groups of enemies to kill using this sword or the hypernova sword (or both at the same time) is way more usefull as you will deal 1.5-2x more dmg with Gigagash/sword of light abilities than with Quadraslash.
Did you get the golden reins from the vendor by the racetrack? They help a lot. The black cup gets easier after you've done it a couple of times and can anticipate the obstacles and turns.
This sword is pointless cause you have to use the lesser version to beat the final boss. Very confusing considering you get the recipe from trails that’s in the post game story line. Not a very good ultimate weapon.
Yes but swords can be dual wielded which offsets the greatswords damage boost. And until you get blade dance only swords can use falcon slash which is the cheapest single target Damage gain at 4mp. Once you have blade dance use greatswords unless you are clearing mobs which dual swords does best.

I had the same problem, make sure you got the right orichalcum. The normal one doesn't work. You need to get the rare one you get when you go to the 6th floor of the old battleground and enter the overlooked cavern. Maybe this will help you.

The enemy in question is an A3G15, which looks like a Killing Machine or Hunter Mech.
That sword isn't better than the supreme sword of light as this sword will have +196 attack at +3. And then there also is the evolving sword in the game that isn't hero only that will also be +196 attack at +3.

And it is made at the fun size forge so it can be made into a stronger form
Supreme Sword of light is the only weapon able to Remove the effects of khalasmos, otherwise the Battle is pretty much impossible

If you do falcon slash you do more DPs with supreme Sword of light and hypernova equipped than any ability with the great Sword abilities and brilliant blade.

So what's the downside to falling when you make one of these weapons? Like the stellarang and so on, it says i fail to craft it but the weapons can't go to +3 anyway? So what am I missing?
I think most weapons if not all can go to +3! So If You fail it will just turn out normal! but these weapons can go to +3! (not the 2 versions before it) but the weapon from the final recipe can!
Isn't it obvious? If you fail while forging weapons, you'll have to use Perfectionist Pearls to improve them up to +3, if that's what you want.
And if you suck at forging, you're going to have to buy pearls. And they cost a LOT. If you need 3 attempts to finish a weapon, that'll set you back 60,000 gold.
So you'd best forge well, or keep on forging simple shit that'll give you pearls for successfully pulling of the novice work.
@@SpaceCattttt Yes, forging normal weapons is very obvious. But I was talking about the legendary weapons, or whatever you want to call em.
The highest forging level is 5 stars. And there's nothing different about failing to forge them well.
The same rule applies: you still get your weapon, no matter how they turn out. But the best weapons are just that more expensive to improve if you fail the first time.
However, you CAN'T forge the best weapons until you've leveled up A LOT. The Fun-Forgery thing levels up with you, and the higher its level, the more forging options
become available to you. So if you try to forge legendary weapons before you're, say, at level 70 or so, you won't be able to forge a 5 star sword to +3, for example.
You'll still get the sword in its vanilla form, as long as you have the materials. But you WANT it at +3, don't you? And to do that, you need access to all the forging
options that you get later on. And besides, I don't think you can forge the best weapons until Act 3 anyway, because certain materials are only available in areas
that are closed off before then. But you can still craft 3 or 4 star weapons fairly early on.

Horse racing is impossible!
It can be tough, but there are guides that can help you figure out what to do in each race.
Horse racing is easy enough up until gold on difficult but that one is still winnable. Platinum and black are just bullshit if you touch a single wall you lose!
On black you don't even have to touch a wall to lose, you can do really well but only perfection on every corner or a bit of rng can help you(I twice in a row finished with the same time but only won one of those)
This is NOT the best sword. It pales next to the Brilliant Blade, which you get from completing the Wheel of Harma trials.
All the light swords are useless, and I only used (one of) them at the very end, because I was supposed to...

Kinda depends on what you will do. Yes a greatsword is extremely powerfull on single target or on a group of enemies. But as soon you get multiple groups of enemies to kill using this sword or the hypernova sword (or both at the same time) is way more usefull as you will deal 1.5-2x more dmg with Gigagash/sword of light abilities than with Quadraslash.

Did you get the golden reins from the vendor by the racetrack? They help a lot.
The black cup gets easier after you've done it a couple of times and can anticipate the obstacles and turns.

This sword is pointless cause you have to use the lesser version to beat the final boss. Very confusing considering you get the recipe from trails that’s in the post game story line. Not a very good ultimate weapon.

As far as I know Greatswords has better damage than swords
Yes but swords can be dual wielded which offsets the greatswords damage boost. And until you get blade dance only swords can use falcon slash which is the cheapest single target Damage gain at 4mp. Once you have blade dance use greatswords unless you are clearing mobs which dual swords does best.

Yup: Mrantifunss trainer gave me 2, I have like 12 spare supreme swords of light, enough for 12 luminarys, or 6 luminarys if dual wielding.
