So, actual strategy since some stuff isnt explained.
1. DONT go in with less than 2000 tokens. He buys like 200 in the video, but he actually has around 4000. Buy 2k for 20k gold, its a worthy investment. (Or just save the ones you get from the golden dungeon)
2. After you get those 2k tokens, save.
3. If you're on pc, go get an auto clicker, use the max bet on the 10 coin slot (90) and just leave it for a while.
4. If you wipe with 2k coins (unlikely), reload save.
5. Once you hit 10k, go save
6. Once you hit 30k, go save
7. after this, you should never wipe. There will be times where you lose up to 3k a the most, dont worry about it.
8. if you ever lose more than 5k and youre below 100k tokens, I personally would reset, but your luck could change as well
9. NEVER USE THE 100 COIN SLOT MACHINE. It is actually a rip off and the probabilities on it are terrible.
Left the game on overnight and woke up to 800,000 doing this. it works. Really busted minigame, but best DQ so far imo.

20k gold is way overkill, using 2k gold for 100 token is more than enough. Just multiply those token by playing slime quest on auto 1 or 2 times, you should get to 1k token rather quickly, from there you can hit the 10coin regular slots. Start off by using only 30 tokens per spin, until you hit metal mode (increase to 90), or once you have a safe amount of tokens just go 90 all the time.
20k gold is nothing... i'm speaking for the people like myself who tried to do this strat with like 400 and ripped every time lol.
also on pc auto for the slime quest doesnt work, and auto clicking works on the slots, so thats a factor as well.
20k gold is quite a sum for the first time you get to the casino. No idea why auto doesn't work for you, i am on PC as well, and did auto spins two times on slime quest to get from 100 to 1000 tokens. it should be way faster than farming 18k extra gold.
i wouldnt grind the first time i come to the casino, lol. i didnt start grinding until after the 2nd casino is first unlocked. didnt want to completely bust the game. the only reason i did this was for the casino accolade achievements and jade's swimsuit for the fashion trophy. either way, dont really go wanna back and forth with you, i mean what i said.

Personally, I used the 100 minimum poker table at max bet. Whenever you get a hit, double down until you have at least 20k. You can load an autosave if you wipe. It won't take all night to reach 800k doing this.
Or you can just bet 200 on every number in roulette and win a million or 2 per hour on the jackpot

You only need about 500 tokens and use 30 per game until you hit metal mode. This will ensure that your tokens count stays constant from winning, so dont need to fear loosing. Unless you are literally the unluckiest person alive.
Once you hit metal mode continue to only use 30 coins per game until you win about 500+ coins which should be easy in metal mode, then switch to 90 tokens per game. But only choose 90 tokens per game if you are ion metal mode.
You should easily have about 2000+ tokens after hitting metal mode once with this method.
Don't use 90 tokens unless you are in metal mode is the key. Its a waste otherwise.

This still works! I made 54k in about 30 minutes starting with 504 tokens! If you don’t start winning before you go broke reset to title screen and start over. I started winning on my third try.
I got so many free and silver spins it got ridiculous for a moment. The hardest part is after I made so many tokens I went to save and it stopped paying out and getting it to start paying out again!
So here's something a method I found fantastic:
Follow the video up until you have at least 20k, then go up to the roulette table and place a coin on every number then spin. Repeat this until the you hit the jackpot.
The jackpot is an instant 1 million coins, so you can pretty much buy anything

Never waste all your gold on tokens (as you cannot make them gold again), and it's perfectly fine to start on the low minimum bets. 100 tokens will cost you 2,000 gold, and that's the max bet on the riskier machines, and games. You will not also win every time either. There is also a woman that will tell you your luck on a specific game to gear you twords that for winnings, even then, only certain machines can be "hot" from others have noticed, and the luck changes in a certain amount of time, or winnings earned on it.
Also, when you enter the casino, it auto saves. This also includes leaving it as well. Makes it easier to save scum than having to travel ALL the way back to the church to save over and over.
This worked fantastically for me. I swore i was going to only do 20 minutes of slots and then get back to the story. I then went into metal mode and free spins multiple times each and got something like 40 free spins and almost 70 metal mode spins. I hit the triple bar twice and got the jackpot twice within 7 or so spins of each other. I leaped from 120k to my current 615k. This was awesome advice!

After a lot of tries i can confirm this. It took me around 30-40 minutes of trying. Still getting some coins but then I had this burst of multiple metal modes and free spins and I went from 25k to 70k in one round. So it really works you just have to really go through it a lot of times.
I think there's a 'law of averages' in here: The slot machines offer payouts depending on what pattern you get. Meaning you can mostly get mediocre or shit patterns on the slots, but if you manage to build up enough (and save/load) you can avoid going broke.
So turns out my grandma secretly watches anime with me and back in 08 played cursed king for the casinos on my ps2 she loved the saber cats and slot machines lol

found the trick find one close to slime time hit that machine up put it onto auto till slimetime ends or it keeps going for a second round then get off machine and choose another that is close repeat till around 30k tokens, keep in mind this is on that 10 token machine. after get 30k switch to 100 token machine till you are around 50k or more your choice. after that go to vip room and talk to the chick near golden tower till she says that someone is going to hit the jackpot soon go to 200 table and put 2000 on 12 and 2000 on 14 keep doing this till you hit jackpot and bam you will win the jackpot before you run out of tokens and now you have 1 million. shit you might even land on your numbers once or twice also.

**SPOILERS** I only did this for 10k tokens for fun. But I want to share that in the 2nd casino, i went to the red slots and bet the 900 max. Just kept pressing X to re-play and won more tokens than I'll need. If you get metal slime 2x bonus and hit 77777 jackpot you win 1 million tokens. Im not sure what the odds are but i won it twice in 2 hours. With 2.6 million tokens I bought everything offered, and like 50 of the restore MP item.

Hey MZ I got a couple questions for involving DQ XI. First: say I equip either the hero and Syvando with two Liquid Metal Swords since they can wield 2 swords, next say I'm fighting some kind of metal monster like a Hardy Hand(arc 2), and last I go and use Metal Slash, will my characters attack only once or will they still attack twice? The second is can I have two characters where Arriviste Vests to increase the amount of gold I gain to 20% rather than 10% or do you know of an easier way to gain a lot of gold? I'm currently farming at Hyldengard.

ok the best starting strategy is like someone else posted. Save game, then buy as many tokens as you can and then go to the machine in the video and bet 30 tokens until you get metal mode then bet 90 for ever metal mode spin then back to 30 until you hit it again. If you run out, restart game. I got lucky my 3rd or so time through and hit metal mode then hit 90 free spins and ended up with 55,011 tokens before going back to regular mode.

- I went in with about 600 tokens. It took a while to get this method starting, but if you have the time and are lacking money, 600 is enough.
- Exiting and re-entering the casino AUTOSAVES THE GAME!!
- As soon as you score something that increases you token count to MORE than you started with, leave and autosave.
- Do this until you have about 5000. Took me around 3h.
- From this point forward, you can’t really ‘lose’ anymore. Start mashing or get an auto clicker on PC. If you are on PS4, having a turbo controller REALLY helps. My fight stick has a turbo function so thats great.
- Left if running for 3h AFK and came back to 300.000 tokens.
Did it with 600 tokens, luckily landed on the jackpot after 15 minutes and got paid out 200,000 tokens.

i barely arrived at 38k in about 2 hours, did they patch the game?
You don't have to go back to the church to save. When you enter/exit the casino the game autosaves so just buy tokens -> exit casino -> enter casino and your game is autosaved. If you lose too many tokens and you want to reload just load the autosave and you'll be inside the casino with your tokens. If you make a lot of tokens and you want to save in case you lose them just leave the casino and enter again to autosave.
If want to save time make use of the Autosave feature. Just go out door from casino to hall and re-enter casino again. Will autosave when enter hall and again when enter casino. Rinse and repeat and play until get money want then save at church. If lose all money DON'T leave casino but exit to title screen from menu. Reload autosave and will appear in casino with money/tokens from last autosave without hassle of running to and from church. Once earn a lot of tokens save at the church. Autosave is always whatever last autosave was which occurs when enter town/city, different area, etc. So don't need to waste time running all over for saves, just for an occasional save.

I went in with enough gold for 300 tokens. So, I started at the 1 token slots. Before 30 minutes were up, I had 5000. Then I moved over to the 10 token slots. Before long, I hit the jackpot... *twice.* In less than an hour, I had over 400k. I spent 300k on items, but saved 100k for later. Why? Well, those 100 token slots have gotta open up *sometime,* and when they do, *I'll be ready.*
I used this method and got lucky by getting the metal slime jackpot within an hour.
RESULTS: 2 hours and 15 mins doing this, got 269K in the end! One jackpot in metal mode, before that I was at 66k.
Took me 2 hours to hit 66k, I had luck hitting that jackpot. So u still need luck but it's a safe method to use, u won't go down to zero ever. Might take time to get more tokens or not if you're lucky. I still can't believe I finished grinding, wow! Imma go spend those tokens now. XD

Thank your video. In the beginning of dq11, it is the most effective method to get token for me. I started in 1 token to play poker, and get 500 token. After poker game, I find this video and turn to 10 token costs game. It's a little hard to turn to 1400 tokens, but after you have 1400 tokens, it is easy to turn to 20k tokens by play the game as the video show. It takes 30 minutes to turn 1400 tokens to 20k tokens. The key is that, you do not need to think too much about how to play the token game, just enjoy it.
Does the effects of the exp vest and the gold vest stack if you have more than one equipped? And also in the beginning you went to the first slot machine in the blue section, then I see you going to the third and second one. Is there any reason for that or can I just go to any slot machine in the blue section?

I went to the vip floor and play the roulette. I bet every number and the treasure box, which means I will lose 200 token per game. What you are aiming for is hitting the jackpot; which happens when the ball land on the number you bet on and it stopped at the jackpot pointer. Theoretically it has a 1/37 chance to happen when you bet all the number. I hit one jackpot (1000000 tokens) in half an hour after losing around 8000 tokens. Note that you need at least 7400 tokens to cover all the number so I would not try this with less than 50000 to start with
A simpler strategy: Buy 2000 tokens, bet on the 10 coin slot (90) till you get 200000 tokens, then bet on the 100 coin slot (900) - this will make the process 10 times faster - till you get the amount of tokens you need. If you want it to be faster, you can use Cheat Engine to speed the game up. Also, you can use an auto clicker to automate the process of clicking.
i don't get what everyone is saying about this particular machine... unless it was changed in the Definitive Edition, all this talk of being a magic machine is just a load of bullshit. It has NEVER worked for me... unless it was supposed to in Act 1

You are NOT going to win tokens that way. THE BEST way to win tokens is to save after EVERY big win and reset from your save with EVERY big loss.

My method at the octagonia casino: play the roulette tables. Put a token on each number. Payout is 36 to 1. There are 36 numbers. You are guaranteed to win the same amount you put down if you put one token on each number. Keep doing this until jackpot. Did this on the 10 token table and got 30000 for my trouble. Gonna do this on the 200 token table next.

Start your bet at 30 (10 for each line) then increase to 90 when you get metal mode, yes you can't automate this method but you'll lose less if you just started, and you won't have to load back the autosave this way.
This method is great if you have two monitors or have the auto app on mobile. You can watch some series while just hitting the x button over and over. If you're the type that does not like that way, playing poker is actually also a pretty fast and viable way, and bit more engaging since you feel you're actually playing poker. I earned 80k in 1.5 hrs in poker, battled a bit and came back to get a royal slime flush which I doubled and won. Bought every plat weapon in the casino. Just dont get discouraged and keep trying. If you lose it all, reload.

You don't need to run all the way to the church to save. It Auto Saves when you walk in the casino room. Just run out and back in the main big room with all the slots and stuff.
Actually before you start playing you should talk to the fortune teller lady and she will tell you which machine has better luck for the moment and it changes every time you talk to her. btw all casino games are profitable but yeah slot machines are the best. However i do slim quest machines cause it has the auto feature, i just put it on auto while watching some anime :)

Instead of saving at the church after winning x amount, it is a lot quicker to leave the first area and return and use the auto saving feature to secure your funds.
