@@sallybutcherskalamundakrafts : Worsted weight yarn works well on all bulky knitting machine. It also works well on my Brother KH260 bulky and Brother KX390 Convertible on the 9 mm setting.
Yes, you can. However, I find it easier to start on waste yarn, then pick up the open loops and hand knit the ribs afterwards. The knitting is stretched very wide across the machine, and I just find my hand cast on edge too tight to stretch across. Also, once stretched in this way, the rib loses its shape.
Thank you for such good videos, I learn so much from watching them
Thank you so much! My machine has been packed away for 25 years and I have forgotten everything! Your instructions are clear and concise. TY!
Just inherited a Studio 155 and this is awesome to get me started!! Thank you so much!
Hello Sally - I see your answer to Angie below re: DK yarn so I assume it will also handle worsted weight. Am I correct? thnx

Can you hand knit a rib and transfer to the machine instead of using a cast on cord?

Hi Sally, will DK yarn knit up OK on this machine? Thanks
Hi Angie, yes it will. You’ll need the tension low, so anywhere between 0 and 2.
Hi. Do you think that the Ribber 150 of the Studio 150 9 mm would attach in the Silver reed sk 155? Thank you:-)
No, it won’t. Although I believe you can modify it. Have you searched TH-cam?
@@sallybutcherskalamundakrafts hi. Thanks for answer me and I will search these videos on TH-cam now. 😀
