I think the reason why the music isn’t overlaid in dance practices is exactly so that you can hear the footsteps. It sounds really cool when they all stomp in rhythm with the beat in choreographies LOL
Yeah, I don't get their obsession with needing the music overlaid when they just saw the video with the music overlaid lol. I'm glad they didn't do it here bc it was nice to see them enjoy and comment on the ambient sounds.

It was a last minute planned thing when we found out Halsey might join them onstage, so I was really proud that the audience were able to pull it off so well.
Also, for the title of "A Poem for the Small Things" I always took it as the song meaning that it doesn't have to be like great, fairy tale love with grand gestures, but it's more about falling in love with small things about the other person and that that's enough

I love that you're delving deeper and deeper, although there was a lot missed contextually about Boy With Luv being a throw back to an earlier song of theirs and their growth, along with missed context with Spring Day last video, but for basic level still-getting-to-know-the-group vibes these are great! BTS have always been very reactive to themselves, their environment, politics and culture, so their music is 100% important to the time it was released and their ages (there are a lot of groups that I love where that's not as imperative but it really is with BTS). there is something that they just got right with bts... as someone who has been to many of their concerts, their PURE happiness being on stage and passion for their craft transfers to the audience every time. I leave their concerts feeling like I am truly on top of the world. their energy is simply addicting and they are such a unique group in this industry.
This is such a great group/channel to react to BTS. BTS is soooo dynamic and are masters at the craft of performance, stage presence, songwriting, and personality combining into one. And it’s with every album, solo project, and promotion. It’s actually extremely rare and insane.
Bts is actually one of the most complex and rabbit hole like experiences, they bring a lot of joy because they have really good hearts and personalities and are a true brotherhood and family but theres so much to discover about them and a certain subsection of their music videos has a deep storyline with some dark topics and mysteries to uncover so I hope you watch the bts guide- there are so many guides but I guess the most popular one rn is the guide by Taylor. I kind of have the same problem when groups have voices that are too similar to each other, I want to be able to tell whose singing and for the voices to have different tones. And that's part of why I love BTS because they each have their own vocal tone and style of dancing.
Bts are different people who learned how to adapt to each other their bond is one of the reasons in my opinion . They accept that each one is different and give each one the chance to explore himself

I think two major things that might give you a good idea of why so many truly go to war for them is to watch "The Rise of Bangtan' documentary episodes and to also check out the Taylor BTS guide bc BTS are not a simple group to get into. Some of their hits were purposely 'dumbed down' for major audiences but some of their songs are very heavy- they stand up for people who cant stand up for themselves and their country does honor them. the former President Moon honored them with the award of cultural merit which no other kpop group in history has bc BTS arent 'kpop', kpop is just one of the many things they conquered- and they were invited to the White House before they all went to the military (many of them became sargeant, warriors, and corporals early) to speak in front of the press. BTS are very special people, and their ARMY is protective, but I hope you do a REALLY deep dive into them- I dont think you'll regret it if you do.

"Why is the song 'luv'?!" - This song was actually a sort of callback to an older song of theirs called Boy IN Luv. It was made quite early in their career. This series - the Map of the Soul portion of their discography - basically winds back in time with callbacks from their first three albums. Intro: Persona, which samples a beat from their Intro: Skool Luv Affair, Boy With Luv, which compliments Boy In Luv (a single from that album), Interlude: Shadow, which samples a beat from their Intro: O!RUL8,2?, ON, which compliments NO (a single from O!RUL8,2?), Outro: Ego, which samples a beat from Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool, and, finally, We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal, which compliments one of their very first singles, We Are Bulletproof: Part 2. The album/series seems to have been made with the initial intent to wind down towards the time when the group would need to take their break as the members enlisted into the South Korean military and, therefore, would not be able to perform...buuut then we all know what happened in 2020. Plans for a final world tour were scrapped and the group stuck around for a little more to try and give comfort to people struggling around the world. All the while, the South Korean government argued about whether the members should have to serve in the military at all, when they'd already made such huge impacts on the South Korean economy and tourism industry. ANYWAY, yeah xD It's a bit of an involved story.
For the hairstyles Bts used to not have much of variety when it comes to cuts , but in the last few years you will find them having different hair cuts especially jungkook he didn't dye his hair for years now and had like multiple different hair cuts in just 2023 alone 💜
In kpop, groups have hand signs (like gang signs). BTS has a finger gun sign, when flipped upside down is a 7. BTS is short for Bangtan Sonyeondan which translates to Bulletproof boyscouts, so the gun symbol makes sense. So anyway, at the end of their earlier song "Boy in Luv", they ended with the finger gun sign, this newer song "Boy with Luv" they end with the finger guns, then JK turns it into "I love you", its a call back but shows the contrasting nature between the 2 songs.
I think BTS live performances are simply the best. Please react to rap songs - Ugh, Ddaeng and I think you will like Mic Drop, Run BTS . I think you should also watch the explanatory videos. Their songs are full of hidden messages and references. Loved your reaction and will be waiting for more. And don't worry about ARMY - there's a reason we're on the defensive, because of the barrage of mindless haters since the band's inception. You are respectful and speak your mind honestly.
I will just say MORE PLEASE!! I'm loving this content, and I believe you guys said you would only do a few, but I, and I bet a lot of other people, would love for you guys to continue this!
Clocking the jean jacket guy who smiled a lot and looked like he was having fun...I love it. That's our Dance Leader, Main Dancer, and resident sunshine, j-hope! He loves what he does and he's a master at it. And he's known for catching people's attention on stage. He is a JOY to watch perform.
Speaking of sneakers on a basketball court sounds....Yoongi/Suga, who plays basketball and loves basketball, whose stage name Suga is based on his favorite position to play: Shooting Guard, and who is the NBA's first ever Global Brand Ambassador, has a solo song where the whole percussion is just breathing and basketball sounds. It's genius. It's called "Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" from the album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt 1"
I really do hope its not just pop songs you showed them . They have ON kinetic , black Swan , mic drop, fake love. The are pop but mixed with some other genre. So far the two songs we saw have light choreo and not much heavy rap. Waiting for the 3 other songs in hope for some other types of songs. Hardcore BTS is also mainstresm BTS
dunno if u meant life goes on is next or you were just teasing😭it's a fandom fave but mebbe not for Eric and Aarons taste as its another non-beat mellow sad song😂 dope-fire-dynamite-mic drop-bapsae feel like more up their alley but im seated for whatever cuz I love them all, keep going at ur pace sjdhdjdj
You guys would love the dance practice for Silver Spoon (by bts). But unfortunately Silver Spoon (or also called baepsae) doesnt have a music video but the dance practice is very known to be one of the most fun dance practices. Its always so fun so see them having a blast doing that dance choreo
So far, the reactions have been towards BTS' more chill songs. (Saw that next one is Life Goes On). I'm hoping they get to react to a hip-hop one. BTS started as a hip-hop group after all. Or at least one of BTS' songs with more intensive choreo.
As an introduction to BTS for the first time and the music orders is: Spring day, Boy with luv and Life goes on is definitely a unique and softer choice 😅😂
Thank you for your BTS reactions❤. I can't wait for you to explore more BTS' Army's songs: Mikrokosmos, Young Forever, Make It Right, Magic Shop and more...esp the live performances. I subscribed not only for BTS but also to watch your reaction to Queen of Hearts. Keep them coming!! 💜💜💜💜💜🫶🏽🫰🏽!!
I don't even love this song, but I am just so hype for you guys to check out more BTS! I love them a stupid amount. I discovered them when I was 21 and now at 29 I can definitively say they have been the soundtrack to my 20s. It has been amazing joy and inspiration watching their rise, they have helped me through some really tough times, and they have literally helped shape my world view. That is part of why when I say I don't love this song it doesn't even matter. BTS music is so wildly diverse, there's usually bound to be some music that doesn't perfectly fit your taste. But as we fans we grow to love the people behind the music so much even the music you don't love you enjoy just because they are a part of it! Which ironically sometimes means falling in love with songs you didn't like originally and just listened to in order to watch or support BTS.... Okay enough ramble/rant, but I am just so so happy my favorite reactors are giving love to my favorite artist!!
The audio on Spotify and Apple Music is where you hear more of Halsey and she's singing in Korean. The friendship between them is so pure and she is adored.
Boy With Luv is named that way in english as a reference to one of their earlier songs Boy In Luv. Boy With Luv was supposed to show a more grown up form of love than the first. The Map Of The Soul albums referenced a lot of older songs in this way. In particular, the bts members have said that Persona is dedicated to ARMY. In many ways ARMY is tied into their persona as much as BTS is tied into ours. For that reason Boy With Luv shows that their love for ARMY is a big part of their motivation.
Boy with luv is a response to one of his first songs Boy in luv. In the previous song it also has a girl as the protagonist and BTS trying to conquer her, impress her. However, in this new song it is no longer them trying to impress a girl, but rather they show that love is found even in small things, in small gestures and enjoying the moments we share. It is a very motivating and happy song with a beautiful message. Also, if you could react to the Bangtan Guide so you can get to know them individually and the history of the band.
These reactions are so fun. I love that you're checking out so many versions of how the music was shared with us (MV, dance practice, live performance). It's much easier to see their vibe, chemistry with each other, chemistry with the fans, and how they chose to portray the music in MV form. The 1st and 2nd song choices are so vastly different even though they're both technically about love; love that has turned to yearning/loss/grief vs love that's shiny and new and playful yet powerful. Both valid and important and both relatable in their own ways depending on what you've experienced. Spring Day (nicknamed The Queen) is more of the song of the people, giving strength to the family of the victims and the survivors who live with the mixed guilt and gratitude of living to see another day. Boy With Luv is more of the global summer pop bop that gets you in a happy mood that uplifts you in a different way. Love both The Queeen and BWL. There are some B-sides that are amazing but they don't have MVs. I hope you can see the live versions of them and the dance practices at least. So What is a perfect song to see the chemistry between the fans and the guys. Anpanman is perfect to see how fun and playful the live performances are within the group on stage. Even when they choose to ignore the choreo. The versions with the bouncy castles are my faves.
hmmm i just realized it would have been better to start with dope, blood sweat & tears, fake love, on, mic drop, black swan, idol to really show BTS' strength as a performance group & also the depth in their lyrics... before diving into the rabbit hole because those songs have some intense performance and it showcases how great BTS is when it comes to live/stage performances. :D (because i'm guessing that life goes on will be next?... then if you're gonna just do 5 songs then the other 2 would be butter & dynamite?) but any bts reaction is good so yay! thank you :D
This era was just - pure joy. Can’t wait to see you guys react to more MVs and maybe even look at solos too. You def got a lot of content that’s for sure !!!! 💜
The hand signal at the end is a gun (because they are bulletproof), and also a reference to the number 7, because they are seven in number. It's actually also a reference to Dionysus, to whom they compare themselves (see their song of the same name).
I think yall would really enjoy the music video behind the scenes! Shows you the sets and the amount of effort the members and the crew put into the music videos.
Damn, if they were impressed with this BBMA performance, I'd love to see their reactions to their bigger performances, especially the end of year performances!
It would be awesome if now you'd react to their hip-hop or more unique songs like Black Swan, Fake Love, Mic Drop, Run and Run BTS, or ON. And I hope you'll check out some of their MAMA or MMA performances, or even clips from their concerts - they are amazing! ❤ You mentioned in the dance practice that they're synchronized but not the same. I think it's one of BTS's strengths - they are individuals with their own style. It's easily seen in their solo work, you almost can't believe that people with such different music styles are in the same group 😄
I hope you're not only reacting to their pop songs because I'd love to see their reaction to Black Swan, or Mic Drop too 😭 Also, I know you only wanted BTS group songs for now, but I think some solo songs like Agust D's, recent Namjoon's (or from Indigo album) and perhaps Jimin's WHO (if they haven't heard it yet) or Set Me Free Pt.2 are a must! (maybe also one of Tae's to include slow jazzy songs)
Actually BTS- Butter is the most viewed music video in 24 hours with 108.2 million views. Boy With Luv did break the record at the time of its release though.
also maybe around Halloween time if this series is still going then you could react to some groups who do horror concepts like Pixy, Dreamcatcher or Purple Kiss!
BTS dance in harmony rather then dead-set synchrony, not saying they are not synchronous, they obviously are but they definitely let their individual charms, energies and chemistry flow on stage. As they have have become more and more experienced in this industry where things can become almost mechanical, too similar and almost boring within groups, their individualism on stage mixed with the chemistry among each other, their ability to shine AND let shine each and every member without stealing attention really makes them stand out and be a little more likeable and real to their fans. Their artistry doesn't get lost within the group.
Oh this journey will be so fun!!! Hope you guys do some fan videos of explanations (they’re really good) and compilations of them in their vlogs The live adlibs of Jungkook is something 🔥
Thank you guys for these reactions! I can’t wait for more BTS and I really really hope you guys will watch Taylor’s guide to BTS!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Edit: I appreciate the effort of editing the overlay of music on the dance practice, but personally I like hearing it as it is because you can literally hear their hard work lol!
Exactly, it's a different perspective we don't normally get to see with artists and their music. I requested on the the other video that they don't do that anymore, hopefully they take it into consideration. It really sanitizes the rawness and behind scenes feel of it. ETA: Yay! they left the raw sound in. I got ahead of myself lol. It was nice to see them comment on the shoe squeaks.
I'm only slightly overlaying it, even raising the original audio during squeeky sections! I really do try to keep the comments into account, but seems I still haven't struck a balance, it really doesn't sound authentic if I only keep the original audio, the tripled up reverb makes it too noisy, and just keeping the recording of the crew means it's too low
I think the reason why the music isn’t overlaid in dance practices is exactly so that you can hear the footsteps. It sounds really cool when they all stomp in rhythm with the beat in choreographies LOL
I agree. I personally love that you can hear the steps in their dance practices.
Yeah, I don't get their obsession with needing the music overlaid when they just saw the video with the music overlaid lol. I'm glad they didn't do it here bc it was nice to see them enjoy and comment on the ambient sounds.

Don't forget Tear
9:08 that's something I really love about their dancing! You can still see their individual styles in dancing yet it flows together perfectly :)
I will just say MORE PLEASE!! I'm loving this content, and I believe you guys said you would only do a few, but I, and I bet a lot of other people, would love for you guys to continue this!
V fancam boy with love is the highest viewed fancam in K-Pop history +143m
YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THE SONG "FAKE LOVE" M/V BTS AND A PURE WORK OF ART
Clocking the jean jacket guy who smiled a lot and looked like he was having fun...I love it. That's our Dance Leader, Main Dancer, and resident sunshine, j-hope! He loves what he does and he's a master at it. And he's known for catching people's attention on stage. He is a JOY to watch perform.
Yes, I had a lot to say - because I love BTS and I love Blind Wave and I really want to help you understand and appreciate BTS.
Reaction a Guide to BTS members the bangtan 7
This!!! As well as xCeleste's video
Awesome reaction guys! Can’t wait for more BTS, they are awesome
The ON and Black Swan performance and Butter at Grammys also their 2018-2021 MMA (Mnet Music Awards) So EPIC
Omg yes. Definietley Blackswan. Their recent comebavk was worked on by the songwriters for Butter.
Its been so fun to watch these with yall!! looking forward to fake love/idol in particular
dunno if u meant life goes on is next or you were just teasing😭it's a fandom fave but mebbe not for Eric and Aarons taste as its another non-beat mellow sad song😂 dope-fire-dynamite-mic drop-bapsae feel like more up their alley but im seated for whatever cuz I love them all, keep going at ur pace sjdhdjdj
Loved it...hopefully you enjoy the boys as the weeks go on.
can't wait for next week!
Thank you for the reaction! It's been a while since I watched Boy with Luv^^
Just seeing you guys smile and genuinely enjoy this has made my day 😊💜💜
As an introduction to BTS for the first time and the music orders is: Spring day, Boy with luv and Life goes on is definitely a unique and softer choice 😅😂
I love this song. Thanks for your reaction
Mic Drop next please. And for the live performance, please do the Busan concert, Mic Drop then straight to Run BTS.
The butter dance practice is the smoothest choreography they've done. They performed it at the Grammys too! might interest y'all.
The audio on Spotify and Apple Music is where you hear more of Halsey and she's singing in Korean. The friendship between them is so pure and she is adored.
lol Jance with the tease at the end. I love it!
I love the performance with Halsey. Their friendship and interactions are so cute!
Boy with Luv was when I really got into BTS(as a big fan) so will always be one of my favs!
I would die if you guys followed the Bangtan Universe MVs for the storyline later (after you get to know the names and faces better)
I can't believe you brought this iconic MV, more iconic than just this 'DNA' I met BTS because of this song🩷
Thank you for reaction 💜💜
(because i'm guessing that life goes on will be next?... then if you're gonna just do 5 songs then the other 2 would be butter & dynamite?)
but any bts reaction is good so yay! thank you :D
Lol I agree I love hearing their steps and the shoes squeaking
From now on I'll be waiting for these bts reactions!!!
I realised while watching this that ive never seen the official video from bbmas, only the fancams
Loved the video guys!! I'm excited for next week but I can't wait for you guys to watch some more intense or earlier BTS stuff, is so good!!
Damn, if they were impressed with this BBMA performance, I'd love to see their reactions to their bigger performances, especially the end of year performances!
she is so cute for being so happy to show them lmao
The BTS Boy With Luv 2020 New Years Eve Times Squre live performance was also a fun one.
It would be awesome if now you'd react to their hip-hop or more unique songs like Black Swan, Fake Love, Mic Drop, Run and Run BTS, or ON. And I hope you'll check out some of their MAMA or MMA performances, or even clips from their concerts - they are amazing! ❤
You mentioned in the dance practice that they're synchronized but not the same. I think it's one of BTS's strengths - they are individuals with their own style. It's easily seen in their solo work, you almost can't believe that people with such different music styles are in the same group 😄
I hope you're not only reacting to their pop songs because I'd love to see their reaction to Black Swan, or Mic Drop too 😭
Also, I know you only wanted BTS group songs for now, but I think some solo songs like Agust D's, recent Namjoon's (or from Indigo album) and perhaps Jimin's WHO (if they haven't heard it yet) or Set Me Free Pt.2 are a must! (maybe also one of Tae's to include slow jazzy songs)
Actually BTS- Butter is the most viewed music video in 24 hours with 108.2 million views. Boy With Luv did break the record at the time of its release though.
BTS performing Boy With Luv at the billboard music awards in 2019 was my introduction to BTS and I've been ARMY ever since, thank you.
I'm only here for the pup.
also maybe around Halloween time if this series is still going then you could react to some groups who do horror concepts like Pixy, Dreamcatcher or Purple Kiss!
I hope they react to On because the choreography goes crazy
BTS dance in harmony rather then dead-set synchrony, not saying they are not synchronous, they obviously are but they definitely let their individual charms, energies and chemistry flow on stage. As they have have become more and more experienced in this industry where things can become almost mechanical, too similar and almost boring within groups, their individualism on stage mixed with the chemistry among each other, their ability to shine AND let shine each and every member without stealing attention really makes them stand out and be a little more likeable and real to their fans. Their artistry doesn't get lost within the group.
Oh this journey will be so fun!!! Hope you guys do some fan videos of explanations (they’re really good) and compilations of them in their vlogs
The live adlibs of Jungkook is something 🔥
❤❤❤❤ I was waiting for new reaction to BTS from you guys! TYSM!!
Okay for the next song please do "ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film" this!!!
BTS is just happiness :) thanks for reacting 💜
Thank you guys for these reactions! I can’t wait for more BTS and I really really hope you guys will watch Taylor’s guide to BTS!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Edit: I appreciate the effort of editing the overlay of music on the dance practice, but personally I like hearing it as it is because you can literally hear their hard work lol!
@@jademelon7272 Thanks for noticing! I'm reading all the comments so keep the feedback coming
@@FlynnTheRedhead
Yes, they are all in love. Because they are singing to ARMY.
Run BTS by BTS needs to be the next one 😆
Manifesting a blood sweat and tears reaction 🙌
Love this
Love your reactions to BTS!!☺💜💜💜
Songs like Young Forever, Not Today, Dope, Zero O'clock etc b-sides
Next up Idol 🤭🤭🤭🤭
Please also add reaction to their concert performances too. It would be fun.
I'll try to add at least one for TWICE, but the BTS ones have been recorded. Maybe in the future!
@@FlynnTheRedhead I hope there'll be more BTS reactions in the future 😭
ohmygod more bts videos yes!
Butter live at the GRAMMYs would be cool to watch.
