I think I've watched the HK to NY series 6 or 7 times during lockdown. I'm living vicariously through these vids Karl :)
Been powering through these videos the past few days. I'm truly happy that you guys decided to share these experiences with the world as opposed to keeping it off-camera. Thank you!
The 2 days on Castaway island would have really appealed to my 18 year old self but now I'm 25 it just looks like hell! 3 years at uni playing drinking games was more than enough for me. Besides when I'm travelling I hate to be hungover.
Group 1: Makes fun obstacle course to welcome new guests
This is 100% the best channel to watch about travelling, really insightful and gets me so hyped for my summer
It's 2023 and I'm still watching HK2NY
When you said "It's Monday morning and we're about to go wake boarding" it sunk in how epic your life must have been for those 9 months
I'm so pleased I've found this channel and this series. I have another 10 weeks off before university begins, and have been struggling to find something worth watching to occupy my time. This is it!
The person making this documentary has some real good taste in music. 20 minutes in and already The Doors and Bob Marley. Might I reccomend to you, Lou Reed, Tom Waits and Ministry. Thank you, live a good life and be kind!
Are all the hostel-organized trips to halong bay like this? Cause thats definitely not what i am looking for while beeing in vietnam.
Your travel documentaries are by far the best I have seen . Great job .
About Angkor Wat
Every region of the world has its horror stories as well as its beauty. A journey of contrasts. It's looking like a provocative adventure....Good stuff!
wow, great video! Love the editing and especially the content, really helps to plan a backpack trip in cambodia and vietnam!
The quality and content of these videos are good enough for mainstream television.
Loved every bit of this and HK2NY. This is a really inspiring series! Keep making more!
I absolutely love your videos, I've seen your new ones and only now finding this series. I would love for videos on how you prepare for an extravagant trip like this. The preparation and planning is the most nerve-racking for me, but most essential. Keep up the videos they help so many people to experience the backpacking experience while saving. Much love from Canada.
My heart sank when you parted with hard earned cash for the good old "orphanage" scam!! Unfortunately its all over SE Asia. Kudos to you for actually exposing it in the vid and doing your research about it, most people want the viewer to see the "good deed" rather than the truth behind it. You guys managed to capture so much with the one camera and the music is on point to the content/mood/theme. After 60 offers you finally booked a Tuk Tuk driver🤣🤣. Really enjoying everything.... onto Thailand we go👍
cool one Karl and James. that island thing looked awesome...great fun watching it..cheers
I love watching your videos and it has inspired me so much that I'm looking forward to be going to Southeast Asia in August.
