    If only I had understood this 55 to 65 years ago. The sooner a person undergoes chronic trauma and knows these things, the better. Thank you.

    Here is something:
    Memories aren't REAL. Memories can be changed. A usefully changed memory has a powerful and positive effect on our lives.

    Hi Steve
    We are English family who leaves in Nee Zealand
    I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express how thrilled my boys and I are about your upcoming visit to New Zealand. They are huge fans of yours, and it would mean the world to them to have the opportunity to see you perform. Unfortunately, I'm currently facing financial constraints and unable to afford tickets for the event.
    I understand if there's limited control over ticket arrangements, but I'm reaching out in the hopes of exploring any possible arrangements for us to meet you. Your has brought so much joy to our lives, and meeting you would be an unforgettable experience for my boys.
    Thank you for considering my request. We eagerly await your visit to New Zealand and hope for the chance to see you.
    Warm regards,
    Emily

    "What kills you does NOT make you stronger"
    If it kills you, you're not around to worry about your strength.

    It would be great if you would define what you mean by trauma at the beginning of your video. Mental, physical, both, other?

    • @aaanita
      @aaanita 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      both, cause physical trauma also causes stress mentally and emotionally (eg. car accident, abusive partner, etc.). a papercut on finger probably wont cause such stress, so bodily stress not always cause emotional/mental stress

      @@Blazingbatch I see that your point of view is immensely narrow minded, since you do not even consider childhood trauma (eg. sexual abuse), which is also discussed in the interview. how dare you expect a little child to "man up" and overcome such trauma with a shoulder-shake?! this is outrageous. do not talk to me ever again, please.

    Stop with your trauma bullshit. Life is hard, live with it. We will all encounter traumatic experiences in our life. Get back on your feet and soldier on.

      Some empathy would be nice… people soldier on but they also cope without knowing it in many ways and knowing this and fixing it will improve mental health and therefore overall health.
