I like watching your videos in preparation for future problems with my Rhino! Now I know to buy another tool... Thanks and greetings from a British ex-pat in DE

Very useful breakdown of the seals - thank you. These machines are so simple there not much you can't fix. Well done

Looking forward to the EtherCAT series and more Rhino repairs and mods! And of course, more broken endmills!

Actually I took the whole motor apart and had a look, heaps of crunchy bits embedded in seals throughout, I pulled a couple off, was like the edges of the gears inside the motor were super brittle and small pieces were coming off, I knocked them off with a file and got rid of the sharp edges, cleaned everything off as well as I could and removed all the metal chunks I could find, might be worth a look for you too.

That's interesting, Nikki. I would like to see pix of those motor internals. Is your unit also a Rhino XN?
My XN08 is 5.5y old and nearly identical to the OP's XN10. He has the newer external ballast weight. I had the drive sprocket off in the first year to get the track back on, which had come off inward. The sprocket was easy to remove cuz there was no rust yet. I guess the one on the other side is gonna be rusty....
