Thank you for sharing this documentary Fz Architecture! 🙏 Unfortunately, they were restorating the Helsinki Finaldia Hall while I was visiting. 😭 Makes me want to go back to Finland to see more buildings out of his hand. 🙂👍
Thank you for your kind words and for watching! 🙏 It’s a shame the Finlandia Hall was under restoration during your visit, but it’s a great reason to plan another trip to Finland. Alvar Aalto’s work is so inspiring, and there’s truly so much to explore beyond the Finlandia Hall. I hope you get the chance to return and experience more of his masterpieces. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thanks for your very incisive & inquisitive analyses of the 20th century Master Finnish Modern Architect who I greatly admire for his many humane public & civic buildings and F.L.Wright's Japanese-inspired domestic & organic style Prairie & Usonian houses. These great designers are still very influential to 21st century neo/post modernism in functional forms integrated w/ ecological frameworks for buildings that address current issues of climate changes as well as biodiversity resources challenges through effective, efficient & economical energy & material conscious designs for the future human survival!👍🤗
Thank you so much for your words, This is the idea of the channel, promote and learn from the master that shaped our current architecture. Today many architects is missing from where we came and how to be the next one. Thank you for joining!
@@fzarchitecture I can't agree more because of pervasive & persuasive prevalent influence of mass & social media that promote starchitects in the professional circles as well as institutional courses/curriculum of architecture that's why as a current faculty, I always emphasize in class instructions that students should be always aware of context & contents of site, spaces, surfaces, structures & services as basic requirements of architectural planning before they'll arrive/derive the building program design concept/s. Besides we as the professors & professionals have to really review architectural history in order to adapt suitable & sustainable design theories & apply these kind of attitudes to develop robust practices in order to be relevant in the present as well as into our emergent futures for the stable benefits of humankind. 😉🙏
@@joeffreycardenal8980 Thank you so much, this is why I did this channel, I born and grow up in Barcelona, studying in one of the most prestigious universities of Architecture and living now in USA, I saw that my education received does not similar at all as today education and I believe we need to learn from the best because we are losing our commitment and manner who we are. Thank you for your comment! I really appreciate it!
Likewise for your feedback. I'll be looking forward for your yt vlogs that'll expound & explore more the meaningful value of our noble field of endeavor & I hope you upload more great & underrated modern architects & even landscape architects if you will, ok Btw & fyi, I'm a fan of the design criticism lectures of Sir Kenneth Frampton based in Columbia University for his trailblazing book: Towards a Critical Regionalism: 6 Points of Arçhitectural Resistance👍God bless your efforts for this significant arch-annel Sir🙏🙂
Honestly, I'd much prefer to be spoken to in a Spanish accent than by a robot ...... the 'you knows' etc. just don't sound at all convincing. Narrate it yourself! Thanks however for the lecture - you find history and photographs I have never heard of nor seen.
Hi, thank you for your comment, and I am considering seriously speak myself for the next video, you are not the only one who says that! thank you for watching!
@@fzarchitecture Courage mon brave .... do it my, boy? or perhaps girl? You have some valuable knowledge built up here. If you want, you can send me your script or a recording and I'll check it. (I used to a similar job for a Japanese friend of mine so I'm used to it. That said, these are L. O. N. G, videos!
