Wake up. Check TH-cam. Watch bigstackD. ;-) That's a good morning! I'm surprised how much you got out of that slag. I've been throwing it away. Maybe I'll have to change that. I also didn't realize that nordic gold had zinc and tin. What's the difference from aluminum bronze? I guess what I mean is, does the added zinc & tin change the characteristics at all? Change the color, or make it harder or softer?
If I remember correctly, it helps with corrosion resistance. I think that naval brass is fairly similar so you can look into that if you're interested in a wikipedia binge
FarmCraft101 theoretically buddy the zinc probably burns off in the tin is such a small amount it probably doesn’t make much of a difference in Nordic gold would be pretty similar to aluminium bronze. There is a slight different colour that’s for sure. I’ll need to put them side-by-side in the future video to show people, I honestly reckon they would be pretty much similar in their strength and hardness although I don’t have a machine to test that this is just a theory because they Can be extremely difficult to stamp . Quite a few people have said that rapid cooling on ice could be changing it’s molecular structure when it freezes but I honestly don’t know 🤷🏻♂️, I certainly don’t have the smarts that you have matey, all I do is melt shit ,drink beer, edit ,upload ,sleep ,repeat👊🏻😁🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻.
