G'day guys and gals how are you all this week? Great I hope. Today I thought I would add a decent amount of nordic gold to my stack And fill up my treasure chest a bit more. So I've said it before I'll say it again sit back relax turn your mind off And I hope you enjoy today's video. Have a happy safe weekend and talk with you all soon😁👋🏻
Dunno about anyone else, but I'd certainly be intrigued by the walk-through of the house. We've seen so many partial views of individual rooms, putting them all together would be kinda satisfying.
I guess he did in early videos long before I started watching, but with the vibe as it’s been, I kind of don’t want to ruin the mystery. Took me by surprise, and it amazed me how far down I had to look before I found this first comment about it.
Happy Birthday, my dude! You could TOTALLY do something like this, especially with BigstackD's videos to help you out. :D I've been wanting to get into blacksmithing and melting, and as for the melting part, I already feel like I've learned a lot from him, and I've been watching for less than a year. For what it's worth, I believe you can do it, man! :)
I’m so thankful that you continue to post, even during upheaval. I think most people would be understanding with a “no videos this month” post, if you ever have too much going on for melting and casting. I am emotionally invested. I really want Ingot and Bullion to be back with you. I’ve had to live away from pets before and it’s hard on everybody. I also am excited to see you reach the target weight, whenever we get there. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for making them!
@@sapper69s Eh, I lean towards the “dramatique,” so maybe my comment is intense. But in my experience, moving and selling a home is incredibly stressful. I’m just grateful that Big StackD is willing to continue posting.
As a Frenchman living near the battlefields of the Somme, I take advantage of this video on the day of the armistice of WW1 to thank the Australians for their sacrifice in order to liberate my region and our cities. Eternal memories...
Also yes love to see the old house walk through before it’s gone but that’s because I’m a contractor and we build custom homes. Definitely love seeing homes.
I have always wondered why guys/gals that do this don’t melt the high-temperature metals first and then add in the other metals afterwards. Is there a specific reason for this, I wonder?
I just started blacksmithing on an old forge from 1817, (upgraded the pipe.. besides that its all almost from that eara) I started this just because of your videos, i love them! Looking forward to every friday to see what you are up to.. I just made my first item wich was a Bottle opener.. Simple, i know.. but so much fun to learn about heat, patience and the fun of seeing something develop from a something, to another something!
No that is cool... I have watched forged in fire since it first started. I would love to be able to do this. Just do not have the room or the $$$ for it. I look forward to Friday and his video's also. First time in a while that I have been home on a Friday and can catch first thing in the AM. Lately I have needed to wait til the evening to watch. Thank you again for what you do BIGSTACK D.
Awesome new place mate. We just sold our little farm in Nannup. Your new property reminds me of it. It was a regrettable sale I miss it so much. I’m sure your gonna be happy as hell out there.
A walk thru of the old digs would be great! We have seen bits and pieces over the years but I know I'm not the only one who's curious! :) The new shop is awesome and the property is beautiful!
It's amazing how small the old garage looks with nothing in it, you expect an open room to be well... roomy, but it actually looked more spacious when sectioned off and items on the walls.
house walkthrough might be a good idea, shows your fans where you made so many melts and also can be used to help you sell the place who knows maybe youll sell it to one of your subscribers
Crazy seeing the old shop all cleared out. Also, you had a lot of great colors in this video. The green grass, the gold, and the copper pieces after you hammered them flat.
What a great video. The Nordic gold is such an interesting melt. Your place is looking great. Hope the boys can join you soon. Love the monopoly socks 😂😂😂. My wife collects the games. Working on making a full handmade set for her. Casting those small pieces are going to be super tricky. You keep melting my friend. I really enjoy all your videos. Thanks for all the inspiration and continued premium content. Have a wonderful weekend. Huge shout out to all our Veterans!!!!
You should fence in that area infront of the shed and make it into a doggo paradise, maybe add a couple nice doggy bachelor pads, so they can relax and watch you work.
Great video! While watching you cut and flatten the copper, I was thinking it wouldn't be too hard to make a setup to flatten the pipe and cut it into 6" or 8" pieces. Hook a couple of 8" circumference wheels up to a little Briggs and Stratton, put a blade on the wheels so it cuts every rotation, and run the copper between the wheels. Take a bit of finessing, but it should be doable.
@@joeyda3rd ah. I used to be a small engine mechanic, so my mind went to the trusty Briggs. Lol! But an engine would tend to mess up the laid-back atmosphere of the videos.

I’ve been melting on and off for a year with a single crucible. I’ve got about 10 Aluminum ingots and one copper ingot. That’s not including my mess ups. As you can see, his #4 is damn near falling apart. Mine is still looking good. So you can get quite a bit of life out of one crucible.

Thank you for a lot of great videos! But i just want to give you one tip: when you melt alloys (like bronze, aluminum bronze, nordic gold, etc) you worth melting the first metal that has the highest melting point. If you melt first metals with low melting point, with an increase in temperature it starts burn into useless slugs. If you melt first metal with highest melting point, you lost less metal as slug, and have a cleaner alloy
It was good to see the boys and your old house. A full tour of the old house will be great before you leave the place permanently. And most important thing..... Hide your chest carefully..... Because captain Jack sparrow might come to you and ask..." Why the rum is always gone" The skull face coins always reminds me of him. 😂😂

You've been a great inspiration. I started my treasure room too, although not as fancy as yours. You and E-waste Ben have a special skill and you guys are both from Australia.
You love making Nordic gold.
I dang sure love watching you make it!
Honestly Nordic gold I have to say is straight up beautiful. Great video as always. 😁
me waking up at the ungodly hour of 4am and turning on a bigstackd video: today's gonna be a good day.
Nordic gold is always a good watch, but the real treasure was once again BigSnacked.
And then there was the double crucible retirement, so a pretty good video.
Those are some adorable and patient pups. Love how gently they ate from your hand XD
If I were to own any pieces, I would want them to be in Nordic gold. It's so pretty!
The way he dropped the molds into the others was so satisfying
Been watching for a couple of years now, love the content and the editing is great.
Is this channel your full time job
Hey, i like your channel and your work. So much meditativ and of course funny...Greetings from Germany. The north of germany.
Love my Friday morning melts! Nordic Gold is my favorite! BigstacD eating a BigsnackD in his new BigshackD! 104kgs to go! How crazy would a final 100 kg or a 50 kg melt be to finish off the stack? See you next Friday!
Loving the descending notes as you cut the copper pipe
Awesome video as always. I enjoy seeing the boys and I heard you say something, nice voice. 👍🏻 I noticed you did some hearts and those are one of my favorite shapes, the others are crescent moon and stars. See you next Friday, friend.
Although I love watching ingot and his Lil brother interacting with you and I was soo happy today because the 52 sec dog interacting time was actually 2 min or approx......loved it ❤️❤️
I love bringing the uninitiated over to partake in a melt, the look on the faces of friends when I tell them the temps of the quenching water once I've dropped a few bars in always makes me giggle!!😁🤣
