My Christmas present for 2019 was a pair of tickets to their February 2020 show with Squeeze in Hershey, PA. Great show before the pandemic shut everything down. They'll be out there after the pandemic ends, you can bet on it.
Sorry that you never got the chance to see them I was very fortunate to see them over 30 times! Even lucky enough to meet them several times been a fan for over 40 years!!! They are the best!!!
Sorry that you could never attend their shows I been a fan for well over 40 years plus seen them over 30 times! Even met them several times they are absolutely the best, I could go on and on have a very unique sound harmonize very well!!
That was a great tour, caught a few shows that tour and the energy was electric! "Always loved this lineup: Daryl with his short hair, John with his gold top Strat', Paul Pesco on lead guitar, T-Bone Wolk still on bass and backing vocals, Bob Mayo on keyboards/backing vocals, Charlie DeChant on sax, etc., and irrc Mikey "Big Foot" Braun on drums." "Want To" was a show stopper on this tour!
Always felt this version of 'One On One' (where Daryl sings a line from the Great Al Green's song, "Tired of Being Alone," at the "tail" of the song, around 22:19 on this video) was one of the best versions of the song. Totally agree one of their best shows!
The band Daryl Hall: lead vocals, guitars and keyboards John Oates: lead vocals, and guitars Tom T-bone Wolk: bass guitar, guitars, hats, and background vocals Charlie DeChant aka Mr Casual: saxophones, flute, percussion, keyboards and background vocals Paul Pesco: lead guitar and background vocals Bobby Mayo: keyboards and background vocals Mike Braun aka Big Foot: drums and percussion
JAY!!! Okay, this concert is absolutely incredible. I love to hear Marigold Sky tracks live, I think that album is way too underrated... Thanks for the awesome upload! Did you have this on a disc, how do you find such awesome footage? 😂
Good show, I prefer the Old Grey Whistle Test '75 show line up, most of these songs weren't written then, mostly Abandoned Luncheonet stuff and I love it
It seemed to me after the dozens and dozens of Hall & Oates shows I've attended, Daryl, John and The Band, really pull out all the stops for a highly appreciative audience, like the one at this show. The H&O Band at this time was an extremely tight knit group, and it shows here. Also Hall & Oates' energy during this time was heavily driven by Tom "T-Bone" Wolk, their bass player on this show. After T-Bone unexpectedly passed away in February 2010, Daryl stated, "T-Bone was the ampersand ("&") in Hall & Oates." That's High Praise and Respect!
@@HasinaiMan I was at the first Hoagie Nation in Philly. At the end Daryl pulled out " Didn't I Blow Your Mind" and hit notes and moves I had not heard him hit in years, so your point about pulling out the stops for an appreciative audience is correct. And yeah, T-Bone, I still remember where I was when I got the text from my ex GF that he had passed, you can 100% hear him driving the band.
I love Daryl Hall & John Oates, and listen to a lot of their music. Such talented men. That said, it’s disappointing to see Daryl Hall cheat all of the notes on a classic song like “ Rich Girl” because he simply can’t hit them. Maybe change the key, and drop it down an entire step so that he doesn’t have to cheat the notes. He’s all over the map with the melody of this song because he simply can’t hit those notes anymore. There’s no shame in that. Help the guy out and change the key.
This music never gets old! Two thumbs up for these concerts and "Live from Daryll's House" for keeping these old memories alive!!!
Still listening 2023 ❤❤❤Philly Soul 🎶The Best music from Hall and Oates 🥰❤️🔥✨🎉
i wish i can attend one of their concerts😣😣

A stripped down acoustic awesomeness concert tour.
The energy behind Sky is Falling is light years better than the original
