Sorry... it seems you want t help, but something's off... what I got from this video was:
"You CAN sell books! Just don't run ads (like I do), don't use social media (like I do), don't buy courses (like I did, but buy the one I'll be selling later on), use the right keywords (the ones I'll never specify how to be found cuz I don't want competition), and have impossibly perfect covers and content (like I pay to have)."

Preach Chris! So glad you're calling out review services as well, many of them are also against ther terms of service of Amazon! Agreed reviews are NOT important on launch, it's just about avoiding a negative review, which you can do most by making a quality product.

It's funny how people who are actively publishing these type of books all have the exact same opinion and don't just echo chamber the BS out there. Thanks for the comment ❤️

No, you cannot completely avoid a negative review by making a quality book. It's easy to leave a fake review on Amazon🤗 and some people even get paid for this.

You should take in consideration people like me. I am using keywods to sell a book. I am barely making ends meet now and I'm trying to do better. I know this route is the way to go but I need capital.

Thank you Chris! I have keyword campaigns for my books that only target the top search results (top row). I managed this by increasing my bids for the top search placement by 100%, thereby limiting the rest of the search (didn't have much success with placements on pages 2 and 3). Unfortunately, these top placements are often too expensive. That's why I switched off some keywords and only use the keywords that are in my budget (about 20% of my royalties, so every 5th click is a sale to break even). Now my thought is: Why don't I run more keyword campaigns for my books where I target my switched off keywords. But not the top line, but in the middle on the first page. My question now is: Which setting is the best way to get to the middle of the first page for specific keywords?

Thank you so much, Chris, for this very informative video. I'm just getting my feet wet with KDP, although I've already sold several thousand copies. So do you need reviews to sell books well? My latest book sold very well during the launch period, so I know you don't need them. It became the #1 bestseller in its category in 10 days without a single review. However, apparently someone in the competition could not handle the fact that his sales were declining, so he used a simple strategy. He had an acquaintance or someone else buy my book and write a 1-star verified review for it.
When you have 15-20 five-star reviews, a one-star review has almost no effect on sales. Also, the competition knows this. So what I described above will not happen. So if you have a really nice book and it sells very well, I recommend "paying" for the first 10-15 reviews.
I just signed up for your waitlist. Great to see that you have decided to offer your service.
Pls, can you make your next videos with English subtitles? I have always been able to read them on your past videos, but they are not available as an option in your new videos.

Thanks for the information! Regarding reviews, do high-content books also not need initial reviews? Or do they typically require different strategies and a higher ad budget?

Thank you for such a useful video, Chris! Your content is really helpful! And I want to ask you a few questions that are really important to me. If you find the time to answer me, I would really appreciate it!❤
    So,
    1. If I have a nice book that has a few sales and a few good reviews, but at the beginning of my journey, I was a newbie like we all are and made a mistake with a bad subtitle and didn't use really good keywords that could have helped me. I can't see any opportunities to change it. Maybe you know some tricks?
    2. I have a good Sudoku book that was badly printed by Amazon. I have an author's copy that is absolutely fine. However, I received a 1-star review from a customer, and it is the very first review. What can I do in this situation? Unpublish? Or leave it, and how to manage these kinds of situations?
Once again, thank you so much for what you are doing! You give hope! 😊

I see so much advice around low content and medium content, and it's all helpful, but I am struggling to find advice for authors of high content books like novels, series etc. Are there a set of similar tips for us - do reviews matter for us? We can't just quit a series we started after 30-60 days and write it off like this. Any help or insight would be hugely appreciated :)

Hey Chris, in your experience - are niches with lots of publishing houses on the 1st pg of the search results a sign for high demand (cause most probably they did their research) or is it a niche that is too competitive for us average Joes?

I thought reviews will work but they don't. Frankly I am considering giving up the coloring books niche as it seems too illogical and "extremistani" to use Taleb's term.
