I tried investing in stocks once, but it turned out, my portfolio looked more like a grocery list than a financial plan.
I will be adding this bullet list to my notes. I will make sure to check them all off. Thank you for the great tips!
Thousands of dollars a month from a cash savings account? I cannot relate to this 😂
Shelbers, would you recommend the Apple Card savings? It has 4.3% APY
Not Shelby but I have Marcus and it’s pretty good. You can get 5.40% APY with a referral code.
some good points, be in charge of your finances !
Shelby the goat
What high yield savings would you recommend?
Sofi, see the description box 👍
I need you as my advisor, there are many things I need to know such as the 401k, etc. seriously I need your help. I’m very aware of my economic status and is not looking good with just a paycheck to paycheck every single week.
Any how to make changes into my future self?
Thx in advance.
This good
You're a smart and beautiful individual. Love your Palm Springs girl personality and vibe. Great contents.👍👍
Having cash on you definitely is a game changer. I had to freeze my debit card, and it took 7+ days (over Christmas) to get a replacement. Luckily, I had a couple thousand in cash. Thank God. Always keep a stash of cash if possible. lol.
Amazing 🤔

_"Get thousands of dollars a month interest from a savings account."_ This is 'financial advice' for people who *_a.l.r.e.a.d.y_* are rich. This is 'financial advice' for people who don't need any financial advice because they already swim in money
She wasn't rich 5 years ago lol. Been subbed to the channel for a while and being smart helps you get rich.
@@dariovite7501 That's cool, but she didn't become rich from living of the interest of a savings account. That's not the way to become rich. She earned her fortune from honest hard work. As a real estate agent - a sector in which there's a lot of money flowing around, true, but still, hard work. So the real financial advice should be _"study and work in a sector that pays"_ . Bc that's *_useful_* advice (albeit an open door) for people who actually need more money
@@dariovite7501 That's cool, but living of a savings account's interest wasn't what got her there. It was hard work in a sector that pays that she earned her fortune with, so that she *_now_* can live of the interest. So the real advice, the advice that could actually be useful to the people that need advice, should be _"study and work in a job that pays"_ . That and her advice on investing, which I would like s.o.m.e.o.n.e (eg her, bc she advices to invest) to explain how to actually do that (no, not advice on what stocks to buy, but advice on how to buy _any_ stock/bond/commodity/... *a.t . a.l.l* )
To get $2000 per month in interest in a savings account, at today's rates, requires something like $500k to $600k in cash. I dunno if that's Scrooge McDuck money, but it's a lot.

Unless you invest in losing stocks with your HSA, Boooo, yes I am speaking from experience, but it was part of my plan, just not to loss so much so fast...
