La Catedral, III. Allegro solemne - Agustin Barrios, by Roland Schlieder

Agustín Barrios's work "La Catedral" is a vivid reflection of his impression of the Cathedral of Montevideo, Uruguay. In the third movement, he skillfully composes imitations of the swinging church bells. The "Allegro solemne" movement draws inspiration from a Prelude by J.S. Bach, like the entire composition, but is imbued with the unique light and colors of South America.
