I have been using the 15 inch version with AMD, and I love it a lot. I got it about a year ago. My main use case is watching video and general internet browsing, and I'm super happy with it. It feels so sleek and solid in construction. I don't have a desktop computer so I basically use this as my desktop computer, meaning there's really no real reason I need to unplug it. However, sometimes I watch stuff on the bed and I've basically never run out of battery when I've needed it. That being said, I bought this laptop thinking I would be taking it out to coffee shops to work and stuff but then of course, covid happened lol. I think it's going to be super convenient for that though, in the coming months when stuff opens up. I won't have to try and find an outlet like my last laptop! Honestly the main thing to report about this laptop is how fast it is. Programs open so fast. To me at least. Haha. I totally recommend the 15 inch, sure it's heavier but not THAT much I mean I'm a little weakling girl and l easily pick it up one handed. And the screen is so HUGE I love it haha.
The laptop being black while leaving it on sleep is something that just happens in windows laptops often. It happens on my surface pro, my surface laptop 3, Dell XPS, and thinkpad.
The auto brightness should be present in the windows 10 settings. That being said, having the Intel graphics command center installed, while not being mandatory, is something absolutely everyone should do. When you buy a new processor for your desktop you make sure you have the right power plan drivers, If you get a new gpu you automatically check your graphics drivers etc. You need to realize that the new Intel chips are just like AMD's APU's in that sense. I'm surprised it isn't part of the windows update.

Yes it does! :)
Haurjie quick question!! about how long would you say the battery lasts. Like an estimated time. i plan to get a surface laptop but the battery life is a deal breaker😅
@@camcam_104 I go over the battery life in my actual review of the video that's linked with this one. But short answer, roughly 6 hours on full blast I think (basically full brightness, non stop use, no breaks whatsoever)? I don't remember lol
Haurjie thank you so much!! thats way better than the one i have now. my laptop that i have right now is roughly about an hour to 45 minutes which is insane, so im excited!!
please for the love of god how do i turn off adaptive CONTRAST ????? it is the most annoying thing about it holy FFUUUUUUUUUUUUCJ
the thing from intel comand center isnt there anymore
Do you think I should get this laptop or the Surface Go 2 with the keyboard?
I'm personally not a fan of the Surface Go or computers/laptops that come in separate pieces lol
The surface go 2 is pretty good, but the battery lasts about 5-6 hours off the charger unless you’re watching movies. I’m in college so I only use it for zoom, notes, PowerPoint etc.
Have your laptop shown any stains over time?
Nah I clean up after myself
Overheating, Poor Battery, Wifi Connectivity are the real problems.
I was thinking of buying it but halted. Looking for 4K Photo/Video editing with 1TB space under $1500.
Definitely don't use this for 4K editing lol
Edit: and Microsoft never made this and intended for that either
@@hardlinenexus thanks, then i will have to look for another laptop. If you don't mind, can you make Top 5 laptop list (with all level budget) for
1) 4K Photo/Video editing
2) CAD and Other Designs
3) Film Production
This might increase more subscribers. (Btw, Not Gaming Laptops!)
@@backpackingvillager1480 Sometime down the line I'll do that. It's because I personally haven't had my hands on too many of them yet (still a small channel and don't have that sort of money hahaha)
Thanks for the update!
Wow dude 120F in your gym is hardcore. 😮 Don’t push yourself that hard - sounds dangerous
Surprised that the laptop did burst into flames in there 🔥😅
What about the things u actually like 😅
DO NOT BUY this Laptop, After 1 year and 2 months of barely using it, it doesn't start, and the only response from Microsoft is to pay more than 300 usd to get it repaired.
Another year later, do you still not recommend this laptop? Its price has decreased...

Hope to have a laptop like that for my online class
Wait and see next month. Supposedly the Surface Laptop 4 is coming out? Not 100% sure yet..
