- Today, we will look at a scenario where the borders of WW2 come back to the modern world. In this mapping scenario, every country goes back to its WW2 borders while keeping the same government of the modern day, along with population, economy, military, etc. This makes for an interesting scenario, as certain countries are now going to be a lot stronger, like Russia, and a lot weaker, like China. Overall, NATO still exists, forcing Russia to make an alliance of its own. Japan invaded in 1937, Burma wasn’t a separate state until 1939, Danzig was its own country just under Polish influence, Algeria should be part of France because France annexed it in 1834 same for Korea because Japan didn’t just “occupy it” it fully annexed it as part of Japan. Mengjiang is missing as an independent state. (It was a Japanese puppet/colony state.) and Ecuador has its modern borders instead of 1936 borders.
Xinjiang could be its own country on the map but that just depends if you considered it as its own independent state.

Burma was still part of British India until 1937, so I guess it's pretty ambiguous if you count this video taking place over multiple years. Or maybe that just doesn't count idek
Danzig (Gdańsk) was a Free City under the protection of the League of Nations from 1920 to 1939, not its own country. It had a predominantly German population but was under Polish influence.
Ecuador's borders in 1936 were largely similar to its modern borders, so if the map shows modern borders, it should be accurate in that regard.
Xinjiang was under the control of the Republic of China (Kuomintang government) in 1936, so it would likely be depicted as part of China on a map of that time. However, considering it as its own independent state is a possibility given its historical/ethnic composition.

Hey adizz, I think a really cool video idea or even a series is could be "What if humans colonized Mars" like it takes place far in the future where Mars is completely terraformed. There's plenty of maps on google on what it could look like! I think it could be a really unique idea!

I do kinda like the new red, but you need to change the blue as well now I feel. It hurts on the eyes too much compared to the red, so maybe a darker shade, almost navy blue but not quite that dark. Great video!

I think it’s just modern day but they kept the borders before ww2 and the Weimar Republic stayed a democracy and ww2 was just independence movements against the colonizers. Just my opinion.

Pretty sure India would join red team
India would stay neutral as it is good allies with both Russia and the West. However it is enemies with China (and in irl pakistan) which is defo red team so might make india shift to blue team a bit
It's inaccurate to assume that India would automatically side against NATO in this conflict. India's foreign policy is based on non-alignment and strategic autonomy. While India maintains friendly relations with both NATO countries and Russia, its decisions in international conflicts are based on its national interests, not alliances.
