Thanks! I think I cut it 36". The kayak itself is about 30" wide there, so you need another 6" or so to fit your trolling motor. But if you don't want to mount a trolling motor, you can go with 30" or less.
Hey, there! So far, that has not happened. The PVC is sunk deep, with only maybe 10 inches of it above the yak's surface, so the PVC is not flexing. I also do not put the motor on until the ya is in the water.
Good idea! I’m gonna do this exact thing, thanks for posting
Sure thing!
How long did you make the 2x4? I have the same kayak so I’m thinking of making this, awesome idea!

Nice thanks for the info! I’m going to use a trolling motor so your video definitely helped me on deciding what I plan to do with mine👍🏼
@@nelsyherrera4422 Cool. Good luck!
Did you use 1" pvc? I'm making a rod holder and I'm trying to go with 1 1/4 but it's too tight. Just wondering what you used.
Yep!
If you put a trolling motor on that its ganna be all over the place and may even break the pvc
Sick rod holders tho

@@KevinRKosar Hey how has this held up? I want to do the exact same thing.
@@Goomby1019 It has held up well. Give it a try!
