Did you have any issues registering your kayak with motor? Issue I have if that lifetime states their certificate of origin states a trolling motor is not approved for Tamarack model and it won't get approved if attempted to get it registered. Just curious if you had an issues if you attempted.
I did this many years ago. The throttle, and steering is all wonky. Better do a remote steering setup and hang it out back back. Also ditch your sla or agm battery and invest in lipo, even an RC 4s lipo will do

So far, turning it on and off in between fishing, a good 5 hours.

I did not have any issues at all, I believe that the state all they care about is that you own it and that's pretty much it. Not sure if I got lucky.

Where would you add them? Other mods with trolling motor have it in the back and utilize the the holes where the motor mount is for stabilizers.
Be sure to register that. If you get caught they’ll fine you and confiscate your whole set up.
