Wouldn't the new BP catalyst be good for Tankfei? I know some people are really dedicated to Yanfei even as a 4 star with no signature weapons or anything. It would be a good mix of HP and DPS combo with refinements.
Ayato does normal attack and elemental burst damage, his elemental skills damage is the water illusion it does negligible damage, the old one is better because most of his damage with his hydro normal attacks.

It's a wierd case to be fair. So the new passive is useless accept for the Elemental Burst DMG. The Blacksword is much better on him.
Ayato's Burst is mid and his skill is negligible damage, why would anyone rate the new sword better than Black Sword?. Also I have doubts with his takes regarding the bow's bad for Tighnari, It looks like a small brother of Amos bow but less restriction, My tighnari is using Amos bow and it beats even the free Event bow Ibis.
9:47 Honestly I'd argue the old battlepass catalyst is one of Klees bis for low spenders. As she utilizes her full kit for damage having a 20%-40% bonus for her skill, burst and normals is a huge buff. The trigger condition for it is also extremely easy to pull off and for players who value consistency it might be a more comfortable pick than Widsith for her mono pyro team (which is also her strongest team as far as I'm aware)
The viridescent hunt is decent on Tighnari, actually. You don’t tend to use anemo units in a dendro team, so some form of grouping if you’re suddenly against multiple enemies is very very useful

I was gonna go for the other BP bow but I somehow got Amos bow for my DPS Ganyu a week ago, and lvl 90'd it immediately. It hits pretty hard in her hands. Even better than my lvl 90 R5 Hamayumi.

Shouldn't Childe's best be the original battle pass? I use it on him and it's so convenient when enemies don't ungroup after the initial Kazuha Skill. It's more convenient not so much damage focused (i believe)

After trying out all the catalyst I have (Atlas R2, Dodoco R5, Widsith R5, Solar R5), The best 4 star weapon for him is still the widsith R5 (even beat the Skyward Atlas). My stats 1980 Attack, 60cr223cd and the talent lv 8 he can deal 70K+ for charge Attack, and 48k-59k x5 for burst.
One note in terms of presentation, something to keep in mind for future videos: At the end, show the entire tier list, without your overlay obstructing it. Actually, from the moment you were no longer focused on the weapon stats, you should probably have moved your overlay to the right side of the screen.
Should Xinyan be “It Depends”? Xinyan inflicts Pyro on herself upon getting her shield, no Bennett required. Xinyan is the Walking Stick’s perfect wielder. She can trigger it every E, and every Q at C2. (Her duty cycle is bad like Noelle and Barbara.) Dori can also trigger the claymore during her Q. It’s obvious with Dori, but both her and Xinyan can carry the elemental infusion to teammates. (It’s only on switch-in for Xinyan.)
Not sure what 9:47 is but solar pearl buffs burst, skill, and normal attacks. It's one of Klee's best 4 star weapons and beats a R1 Widsith most of the time. Even if you get a good widsith buff every time, it's still within like 1% damage.

Beidou can use the Talking Stick. She gives herself an electro aura when she uses her skill and all her playstyles benefit from the elemental damage bonus. Her burst also snapshots, not sure if she snapshots this buff though. Also the Solar Pearl might be good for some characters like Yanfei, Ningguang or Heizou.

The only time I bought bp was like 2 years ago...twice. Now Im just a monthly welkin player. Having bp could benefit your account and all but you also could live without. Better spend those extra cash on other things.
Neuvillette maybe ? He is a hydro catalyst, can be used off field and from what I’ve seen in the leeks he is hp scaling (more like split scaling but hp is important for his kit so yea)

For the claymore, Beidou affects herself with Electro when she uses her skill. Not sure if it requires a hold or just a press, but I remember using her to cheese a bunch of the Inazuma puzzles. Haven't seen any calc if Serpent Spine is still better, though. It's gonna be tough to beat that, and my guess is that Serpent Spine is still better. And I guess there's Dori burst or Barbara skill which can spread to whoever you on-field.
As a Beidou user, she affects herself always but it might glitch a little bit if you do a super-perfect counter as the electro aura might not even register lol, if it's viable you could use her E and hold a bit to get the 2 stacks As the new enemies are getting more and more DPS focussed on the abyss, that isn't that hard to do lol, you are being target 95% of the time XD
The new battle pass weapon does work with raiden electro build if you're using her in aggravate teams, which has become quite common since dendro release. Same with xiangling. Yes catch is good, but if you're playing raiden national the extra EM increases your overload damage by quite a lot. Lastly, ayato does not get his most damage from his skill and burst, but instead his normal attacks. In no way the WF is better than BlackSword
These battle pass weapons are looking quite solid I’d say. To me, the catalyst has potential, but there are no current catalyst users that synergise with it. Let’s wait and see.

I honestly started out with the Ballad of the Fjords but I haven’t given the weapon to anyone just yet. I’m kinda seeking out all the signature weapons for every character as of now but very recently I took the Talking Stick. Next I’m going for Sethos’s weapon. The bow.
Can't we use the new catalyst bp weapon on dps/spread aggravate focused baizhu? If you are using the prototype amber and ttds on someone else, I see no reason why it can't work. Hp and crit stats won't go to waste and no character needs too much healing anyway. Baizhu heals too much as it is.
I think one thing schould be said and that is thank you for being so free to play/ low spender friendly because sometimes I see other people's videos and I'm disappointed in the end because the character is c6 or has an r5 5 star weapon and then i think nice crazy numbers but I will never be able to achieve that So really thank you 😊
With Fontaine, serpent spine will fall a few notches because I think characters will have life draining effects tied to their kits. Not too impressed by bp weapons besides the sword but I already have a lot of strong swords on the acc.

I've been using the BP since day 1 and they're basically the reason I don't have to farm mora, exp books and crystals, and all my characters are at least level 80, besides a ~7 who I've decided to keep at 70 because they don't interest me (though i have the ressources to level them up to 80), with workable artifact sets. Feels pretty nice to be able to rotate and have viable units to diversify gameplay, especially in the overworld. Allows me to try some silly stuff too.
The black sword is actually still one of the best 4* for Keqing, since she is waving so much autos and charged and as R5, it gives 40%. It might comes arguably only if the user has a good TF set for her, since it does decrease E CD.
Imo the Black Sword is gonna be just as good as the new one handed Sword because of the new Artifact Set that increases your Crit Rate on 11/12% (i have heard both 11$ and 12$ so idk wich one it will be) up to 3 stacks every time your HP chances if you use Bennet he won't fully heal you wich means that without substats or any Fontaine character we will be getting 27.6 Crit Rate from the Sword on top of the 33/36% extra from the Artifact set *without including Artifacts mainstats or Artifact substats* wo ultimately that Sword would help us get from up to 60.6% Crit Rate meaning we can go crazy on Crit Damage with our main DPS of choice
I am this close to buying the battle pass for the Talking Stick just because I love how funny it is. (In case people don't get the joke, Talking Stick / Debate Club)
The sword and polearm look good and I'll likely get a few copies of them. At the moment the claymore, catalyst and bow look awful for the currently available characters and I'm having trouble coming up with scenarios where they'd be used and be best in slot. The claymore is straight up worse than Serpent Spine, the bow competes with the craftable Prototype Crescent and the catalyst offers a stat combination none of the current characters uses. Weirdly enough the catalyst offers both the highest HP% of all catalysts from the passive (r2 beats TToDS, r3 beats Amber and r4 donut and Jadefall) as well as the highest permanent crit rate of all catalysts (Royal Grimoire goes up to 40% after 5 non-crits). It would beat out Lost Prayer on a Crit Kokomi solely in terms of crit rate and offer the highest non-5* shield strength or heals for our HP-scaling shielders and healers. That thing will be absolutely terrifying once they accidentally release a character, that scales both crit rate and HP% - nevermind that it even has some EM tacked on.

I actually think Sacrificial Jade is okay on Nahida - she doesn't use the HP, but high crit rate is solid and you also get a bit of EM, both stats she wants. Easy time meeting the activation condition in most teams. Low base atk is not a big drawback since her scalings are split more across different stats.
I'm just happy that my girl Keqing finally has a 4-star weapon that's good on her (or at least better than harbinger lmao). Given how valuable crit stats are, especially for aggravate Keqing, this thing will blow lion's roar out of the water I think.
Sadly, Wolf-Fang buffs crit rate of skill or burst separately, so hitting enemy with skill 4 times wont affect burst crit rate. And NA/CA/plunge dmg are not affected by this at all.
I'm hyped for the sword, it's easily my no 1 choice for the new BP weapons. Gonna put it on XQ, since I use him on Noblesse and double hydro, so ER is not an issue and this sword will get my XQ to a 70/190 ratio...which will be insane.
From what I've heard from Keqing players. It depends on the playstyle between Quickswap Keqing and Sustained Keqing. In Quickswap the damage distribution between Normals, Skill and Burst are even at 33-34% each. While in Sustained the damage distribution is a bit more skewed to the Normal doing half at 50% and skill and burst being the other 50% together. So for Quickswap Keqing this might be an upgrade while it's a sidegrade at best for Sustained Keqing to possibly even downgrade. That's at R1 tho. Still even with refinements on it it won't be a massive difference for this playstyle as the most important damage aspect (normals) is neglected. Apparently the new polearm while good is only like 2% better than White tassle on Cyno at R1, so dunno if that's worth spending money for it. Although I need to check more with Cyno mains or TC who have him to get an idea.
It totally looks like these weapons are budget signature weapons of upcoming characters. Especially those with oddly specific effects. I think Amber could make good use of that bow. Your argument that "you would rather go for 5-star weapon" can be used for any of the characters, the comparison should be limited to 4-star weapons. And DPS Amber makes good use of charged shots. I think the catalyst could be pretty good on Yanfei's shielder build. The problem with The Catch is that there's queue for it and you can only have one. So if the BP polearm is second after The Catch for come character it's still pretty good choice.
I thing you missunderstood the new sword. The way i read it, hitting an enemy with burst will increase the burst's chance to crit with 2% per stack. It's not a 2% crit increase globally.

The new catalyst are not good for Baizho? Or at least okeyish as he mostly off-field and he use EM as well. + Solar Pearl is pretty good on Lisa Aggravate because you use her whole kit in thet team.
@@Pascll Baizhu procs reactions like crazy and scales on HP, this catalyst combines his two most wanted stats with crit. At C6, this is definitelly his BIS and otherwise it's the best F2P option regardless on how you play him.

@@SethVIB it's not his best f2p option because it's not f2p to begin with. you need to pay to get the weapon. that's a fairly big reason why it's not recommended to get BP weapons that are only okay. the BP isn't cheap. the BP weapons are the least F2P friendly weapons in the game. anyway, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

"They dont want you to use Bennett with this claymore" ... Well yes but actually no. Thats the opposite. The 2 effects can stack. Use Bennett to get the free +16% atk And any other element for the elemental dmg buff
The [New Battle Pass] list is full of characters that benefit even more from 5-Star weapons from the Standard Banner: *Amos' Bow* for Cocogoat, *Skyward Spine* for Cyno and Rosaria, *Aquila Favonia* for Kaeya and MC, *Skyward Blade* for Lynette, MC, Xingqiu, Ayaka... So I can't really justify paying for the new weapons as an old player (maybe newer accounts will benefit more?).
Generally speaking, if you are a spend on the BP player, I imagine you'll get it every BP. Meaning the question is more when you hit R5 on a given weapon, rather than if you do. Of course, that when is 5 BPs to R5 min, and 9 min if your goal is to get a copy of each weapon.
Dori and Beidou can both imbue as claymore users. That said, Dori doesn't want the stats it offers, and Beidou is better off with the Spine. Barbara's healing scales off hp. So provided you use her heals right after she comes in from off-field, she can benefit from both hp and some crit rate, if you're also wanting her to do some direct damage. Mind you, not saying that it is a good weapon for her, but saying she scales off attack is to ignore her healing, which does not scale off attack. Yanfei can benefit from the new one if you have her C4. However, there are better four star options if you want her to DPS, and if you're using her for her C4 shield, you're probably better off with a more support orientated catalyst. Especially considering you'll want refines to crank up the catalyst's hp bonus. But if you don't like swapping weapons and such, it's a nice middle of the road weapon for her. This is why I'll be getting it... but only after the sword. For Xiao, just get the Blackcliff from the shop. With spending on the BP, you should have the shop currency to get one copy of the polearm. Collei can make good use of the Hunt, if you aren't after energy particles from the Fav and aren't running an anemo grouper in your team.
I don't know if when we talk about the new claymore we are considering that you might be able to stack the atk and dmg up effects at least and that even though SS may stack higher dmg, don't the new characters modify your hp or cause dmg which would prevent you from stacking it if you use say Hydro Archon for Vaporize team? It'd be goofy if her effect is to self inflict corrosion for a buff so your SS has 0 hope of stacking. Lol
Tighnari will be decent with Scion, but his burst (which is half his damage) won't be buffed by the passive. That's not saying much, though, considering most weapons dont buff both his normals and burst. Its just a bit better than Viridescent Hunt. The damage bonus will make his first 3 CA feel a lot stronger in a quicken team.
I don't get the BP for the weapons, the weapons are an extra benefit. It is also not possible to get BP and not get the weapon, so it is only the question which one to get first. The claymore and bow look like they were made with Natlan in mind just design wise. The claymore's pyro thing could also be geared for a character from the Fire nation. For now, there is no hurry to get either. Possibly the sword or the polearm first....:)
I'm really annoyed they didn't change the stat bonus on the new BP weapons. It would have been super nice to get an EM stat sword with a better passive for kazuha. (and I just have him using fav because ER substats do not exist)
There are already 3+ em swords for 4 stars. Kazuha is already op and uses er swords too. There is only the battle pass to get crit rate% weapons so this take is really undefendable honestly
I only bought BP once because I finally completed all the levels during a week of binge playing and wanted all the fates and other drops. I chose the fjord because I forgot I also got a weapon 😂😂
The talking stick I only see it good with Thunderfurry Razor with Bennett but like you said serpent spine is just better plus EM and ER is just more reliable.
stick is so easy to use barbarra apply hydro kokomi , sayu, kujo sara(buff E), diona E after swap that charactor apply cyro(for a slip second) ok got a point see how easy to apply any element to yourself
most importantly, can those new weapons' passive even proc while the wielders are off-field? because on paper, the descriptions looks good on off-field sub-dps
Definitely noticing a trend where crit stats are being given by multiple sources rather than relying on just lucky substat rolls (weapon passives, artifact set bonus, skill/ult) to make crit sub stats not AS valuable as they were before. Seems like this might shake up the constant grind for only crit substats and maybe give a little more value to other stats!

I’m disappointed the new claymore isn’t very good on Diluc - I hardly ever use him in the open world because those swords the Serpent Spine surround him with really annoy me, so I was hoping for an alternative. If only I could get the Wolf’s Gravestone from the normal banner instead of another energy recharge weapon or yet another Mona… I’m really tempted to get the new sword for my Kaeya though, it matches his colour scheme perfectly.
@ZhongliBabyShield I can’t personally confirm this, but I read that the buff disappears when you change characters, so it doesn’t work with Xingqiu. It would probably work with Barbara but… I’m never going to use Barbara 😂 Also the crit rate is really low, and the design doesn’t match Diluc at all, so I’m definitely not spending £10 for it when it’s just a downgrade in every way.
I'm thinking about replacing my R1 Donut with a Sacrificial Jade R5 on my C2 Baizhu (soon to be C6). He does lack some crit and his DPS window ain't that long with his burst.

I'll argue that Childe is a great user of Viridescent Hunt (Original Battle Pass). Good for grouping once in every rotation

Should Xinyan be “It Depends”? Xinyan inflicts Pyro on herself upon getting her shield, no Bennett required.
Xinyan is the Walking Stick’s perfect wielder. She can trigger it every E, and every Q at C2. (Her duty cycle is bad like Noelle and Barbara.)
Dori can also trigger the claymore during her Q. It’s obvious with Dori, but both her and Xinyan can carry the elemental infusion to teammates. (It’s only on switch-in for Xinyan.)
Not sure what 9:47 is but solar pearl buffs burst, skill, and normal attacks. It's one of Klee's best 4 star weapons and beats a R1 Widsith most of the time. Even if you get a good widsith buff every time, it's still within like 1% damage.

With Solar peral i did all the logic and found that it makes far the most sense for me to pick so i did. Everyone clowned me for it but i dont regret.
Beidou can use the Talking Stick. She gives herself an electro aura when she uses her skill and all her playstyles benefit from the elemental damage bonus. Her burst also snapshots, not sure if she snapshots this buff though. Also the Solar Pearl might be good for some characters like Yanfei, Ningguang or Heizou.
her kit utilizing dmg bonus just means serpent's spine is better on her (50% common dmg% on beidou is the same as 50% electro)

The only time I bought bp was like 2 years ago...twice. Now Im just a monthly welkin player. Having bp could benefit your account and all but you also could live without. Better spend those extra cash on other things.

Neuvillette maybe ? He is a hydro catalyst, can be used off field and from what I’ve seen in the leeks he is hp scaling (more like split scaling but hp is important for his kit so yea)

For the claymore, Beidou affects herself with Electro when she uses her skill. Not sure if it requires a hold or just a press, but I remember using her to cheese a bunch of the Inazuma puzzles. Haven't seen any calc if Serpent Spine is still better, though. It's gonna be tough to beat that, and my guess is that Serpent Spine is still better.
And I guess there's Dori burst or Barbara skill which can spread to whoever you on-field.
As a Beidou user, she affects herself always but it might glitch a little bit if you do a super-perfect counter as the electro aura might not even register lol, if it's viable you could use her E and hold a bit to get the 2 stacks
As the new enemies are getting more and more DPS focussed on the abyss, that isn't that hard to do lol, you are being target 95% of the time XD
The new battle pass weapon does work with raiden electro build if you're using her in aggravate teams, which has become quite common since dendro release.
Same with xiangling. Yes catch is good, but if you're playing raiden national the extra EM increases your overload damage by quite a lot.
Lastly, ayato does not get his most damage from his skill and burst, but instead his normal attacks. In no way the WF is better than BlackSword
These battle pass weapons are looking quite solid I’d say. To me, the catalyst has potential, but there are no current catalyst users that synergise with it. Let’s wait and see.

Can't we use the new catalyst bp weapon on dps/spread aggravate focused baizhu? If you are using the prototype amber and ttds on someone else, I see no reason why it can't work. Hp and crit stats won't go to waste and no character needs too much healing anyway. Baizhu heals too much as it is.
I think one thing schould be said and that is thank you for being so free to play/ low spender friendly because sometimes I see other people's videos and I'm disappointed in the end because the character is c6 or has an r5 5 star weapon and then i think nice crazy numbers but I will never be able to achieve that

With Fontaine, serpent spine will fall a few notches because I think characters will have life draining effects tied to their kits. Not too impressed by bp weapons besides the sword but I already have a lot of strong swords on the acc.

I've been using the BP since day 1 and they're basically the reason I don't have to farm mora, exp books and crystals, and all my characters are at least level 80, besides a ~7 who I've decided to keep at 70 because they don't interest me (though i have the ressources to level them up to 80), with workable artifact sets. Feels pretty nice to be able to rotate and have viable units to diversify gameplay, especially in the overworld. Allows me to try some silly stuff too.
The black sword is actually still one of the best 4* for Keqing, since she is waving so much autos and charged and as R5, it gives 40%. It might comes arguably only if the user has a good TF set for her, since it does decrease E CD.
@apologundert2825 It is still ok, but abit worse than Lion's Roar. Since Keqing doesn't require much ER to begin with :).
Imo the Black Sword is gonna be just as good as the new one handed Sword because of the new Artifact Set that increases your Crit Rate on 11/12% (i have heard both 11$ and 12$ so idk wich one it will be) up to 3 stacks every time your HP chances
if you use Bennet he won't fully heal you wich means that without substats or any Fontaine character we will be getting 27.6 Crit Rate from the Sword on top of the 33/36% extra from the Artifact set *without including Artifacts mainstats or Artifact substats* wo ultimately that Sword would help us get from up to 60.6% Crit Rate meaning we can go crazy on Crit Damage with our main DPS of choice

The sac jade is okay for babs if you want to run her DPS and still have decent heals, but its probably not the wisest investment.
The sword and polearm look good and I'll likely get a few copies of them. At the moment the claymore, catalyst and bow look awful for the currently available characters and I'm having trouble coming up with scenarios where they'd be used and be best in slot. The claymore is straight up worse than Serpent Spine, the bow competes with the craftable Prototype Crescent and the catalyst offers a stat combination none of the current characters uses.
Weirdly enough the catalyst offers both the highest HP% of all catalysts from the passive (r2 beats TToDS, r3 beats Amber and r4 donut and Jadefall) as well as the highest permanent crit rate of all catalysts (Royal Grimoire goes up to 40% after 5 non-crits). It would beat out Lost Prayer on a Crit Kokomi solely in terms of crit rate and offer the highest non-5* shield strength or heals for our HP-scaling shielders and healers.
That thing will be absolutely terrifying once they accidentally release a character, that scales both crit rate and HP% - nevermind that it even has some EM tacked on.

I actually think Sacrificial Jade is okay on Nahida - she doesn't use the HP, but high crit rate is solid and you also get a bit of EM, both stats she wants. Easy time meeting the activation condition in most teams. Low base atk is not a big drawback since her scalings are split more across different stats.
I'm just happy that my girl Keqing finally has a 4-star weapon that's good on her (or at least better than harbinger lmao). Given how valuable crit stats are, especially for aggravate Keqing, this thing will blow lion's roar out of the water I think.

Sadly, Wolf-Fang buffs crit rate of skill or burst separately, so hitting enemy with skill 4 times wont affect burst crit rate. And NA/CA/plunge dmg are not affected by this at all.
Baizhu and the Sacrificial Jade can work as a Sub-DPS that can have his HP buffing passive too,
I'm hyped for the sword, it's easily my no 1 choice for the new BP weapons. Gonna put it on XQ, since I use him on Noblesse and double hydro, so ER is not an issue and this sword will get my XQ to a 70/190 ratio...which will be insane.

From what I've heard from Keqing players. It depends on the playstyle between Quickswap Keqing and Sustained Keqing.
In Quickswap the damage distribution between Normals, Skill and Burst are even at 33-34% each.
While in Sustained the damage distribution is a bit more skewed to the Normal doing half at 50% and skill and burst being the other 50% together.
So for Quickswap Keqing this might be an upgrade while it's a sidegrade at best for Sustained Keqing to possibly even downgrade. That's at R1 tho. Still even with refinements on it it won't be a massive difference for this playstyle as the most important damage aspect (normals) is neglected.
Apparently the new polearm while good is only like 2% better than White tassle on Cyno at R1, so dunno if that's worth spending money for it.
Although I need to check more with Cyno mains or TC who have him to get an idea.

It totally looks like these weapons are budget signature weapons of upcoming characters. Especially those with oddly specific effects.
I think Amber could make good use of that bow. Your argument that "you would rather go for 5-star weapon" can be used for any of the characters, the comparison should be limited to 4-star weapons. And DPS Amber makes good use of charged shots.
I think the catalyst could be pretty good on Yanfei's shielder build.
The problem with The Catch is that there's queue for it and you can only have one. So if the BP polearm is second after The Catch for come character it's still pretty good choice.
I thing you missunderstood the new sword.
The way i read it, hitting an enemy with burst will increase the burst's chance to crit with 2% per stack. It's not a 2% crit increase globally.
Seems like it will be good for Ayaka aside from the fact that crit damage would have been preferred instead of crit rate in main stat💀

baizhu is a healer rather than a DPS, so the crit rate substat it has isn't very good on him for most players.
@@Pascll Baizhu procs reactions like crazy and scales on HP, this catalyst combines his two most wanted stats with crit. At C6, this is definitelly his BIS and otherwise it's the best F2P option regardless on how you play him.

Yes, this weapon gives a LOT of hp, but it comes with a crit stat that you don’t need (and if you use him as dps, he isn’t gonna be offfield) and you’re losing the er from prototype

@@SethVIB it's not his best f2p option because it's not f2p to begin with. you need to pay to get the weapon. that's a fairly big reason why it's not recommended to get BP weapons that are only okay. the BP isn't cheap. the BP weapons are the least F2P friendly weapons in the game.

The [New Battle Pass] list is full of characters that benefit even more from 5-Star weapons from the Standard Banner: *Amos' Bow* for Cocogoat, *Skyward Spine* for Cyno and Rosaria, *Aquila Favonia* for Kaeya and MC, *Skyward Blade* for Lynette, MC, Xingqiu, Ayaka... So I can't really justify paying for the new weapons as an old player (maybe newer accounts will benefit more?).

Generally speaking, if you are a spend on the BP player, I imagine you'll get it every BP. Meaning the question is more when you hit R5 on a given weapon, rather than if you do. Of course, that when is 5 BPs to R5 min, and 9 min if your goal is to get a copy of each weapon.
Dori and Beidou can both imbue as claymore users. That said, Dori doesn't want the stats it offers, and Beidou is better off with the Spine.
Barbara's healing scales off hp. So provided you use her heals right after she comes in from off-field, she can benefit from both hp and some crit rate, if you're also wanting her to do some direct damage. Mind you, not saying that it is a good weapon for her, but saying she scales off attack is to ignore her healing, which does not scale off attack.
Yanfei can benefit from the new one if you have her C4. However, there are better four star options if you want her to DPS, and if you're using her for her C4 shield, you're probably better off with a more support orientated catalyst. Especially considering you'll want refines to crank up the catalyst's hp bonus. But if you don't like swapping weapons and such, it's a nice middle of the road weapon for her. This is why I'll be getting it... but only after the sword.
For Xiao, just get the Blackcliff from the shop. With spending on the BP, you should have the shop currency to get one copy of the polearm.
Collei can make good use of the Hunt, if you aren't after energy particles from the Fav and aren't running an anemo grouper in your team.

I don't know if when we talk about the new claymore we are considering that you might be able to stack the atk and dmg up effects at least and that even though SS may stack higher dmg, don't the new characters modify your hp or cause dmg which would prevent you from stacking it if you use say Hydro Archon for Vaporize team? It'd be goofy if her effect is to self inflict corrosion for a buff so your SS has 0 hope of stacking. Lol

Tighnari will be decent with Scion, but his burst (which is half his damage) won't be buffed by the passive. That's not saying much, though, considering most weapons dont buff both his normals and burst. Its just a bit better than Viridescent Hunt. The damage bonus will make his first 3 CA feel a lot stronger in a quicken team.

I don't get the BP for the weapons, the weapons are an extra benefit. It is also not possible to get BP and not get the weapon, so it is only the question which one to get first.
The claymore and bow look like they were made with Natlan in mind just design wise. The claymore's pyro thing could also be geared for a character from the Fire nation. For now, there is no hurry to get either. Possibly the sword or the polearm first....:)
I'm really annoyed they didn't change the stat bonus on the new BP weapons. It would have been super nice to get an EM stat sword with a better passive for kazuha. (and I just have him using fav because ER substats do not exist)
There are already 3+ em swords for 4 stars. Kazuha is already op and uses er swords too.
There is only the battle pass to get crit rate% weapons so this take is really undefendable honestly

Definitely noticing a trend where crit stats are being given by multiple sources rather than relying on just lucky substat rolls (weapon passives, artifact set bonus, skill/ult) to make crit sub stats not AS valuable as they were before. Seems like this might shake up the constant grind for only crit substats and maybe give a little more value to other stats!

I’m disappointed the new claymore isn’t very good on Diluc - I hardly ever use him in the open world because those swords the Serpent Spine surround him with really annoy me, so I was hoping for an alternative. If only I could get the Wolf’s Gravestone from the normal banner instead of another energy recharge weapon or yet another Mona… I’m really tempted to get the new sword for my Kaeya though, it matches his colour scheme perfectly.
@ZhongliBabyShield I can’t personally confirm this, but I read that the buff disappears when you change characters, so it doesn’t work with Xingqiu. It would probably work with Barbara but… I’m never going to use Barbara 😂 Also the crit rate is really low, and the design doesn’t match Diluc at all, so I’m definitely not spending £10 for it when it’s just a downgrade in every way.
I'm thinking about replacing my R1 Donut with a Sacrificial Jade R5 on my C2 Baizhu (soon to be C6). He does lack some crit and his DPS window ain't that long with his burst.
