Can’t believe it’s 10 years old now 😢 I love sharon van etten
I want to be surrounded by people that loves this kind of music!
I love how, at the beginning, when she says the song is called Tarifa she is quite mild mannered and, then as soon as she begins to sing, she becomes this larger than life performer.
She is among the best voices in modern times
This specific song is so good it makes me want to stop writing because no one will ever write a more genuine song
Help I can't stop listening to her music
i love this song so much it's melancholic and beautiful
the more i listen to "are we there", the more it grows on me - and this song especially. a stunning record, and her best to date in my opinion.
combination of twin peaks vibes with an awesome song amazing.
Still amazing. Replying to myself. Best way
Loved it when I first heard it and it’s a song that’s never ever left me. I keep coming back to it. Love hearing it, a perfect little song.
this song inspired me to learn the guitar
Gorgeous with the two of them
I love the subtle, but essential harmonies of Heather Woods Broderick
I would play the same simple chords with my guitar it would be boring. She plays it and it's perfect. Life is not fair!
voice and emotion is 80% of it's weight
Thank you Sharon, I'm very glad about your existence and your inspiracy in the contemporaneous music
Sharron is pure genius.. so glad she exist!
I come back to this video simply because I'm starved for more Heather Woods Broderick.
Just saw Sharon last night at the Wexner Center in Columbus and she played Tarifa with a full band and it was similarly incredible.
+Brian Estabrook the wexner center has been shut down for over 6 years. you're halucinations are reaching the point of no return mr. estabrook. schizophrenia was like a common cold with you. You're full blown inverted dimensions now. Wake up from this character and return to your family in Arizona. Reality is not what it seems in your brain, bro
Joshua Mills Congratulations on your winning submission for the 2010-2015 Weirdest Social Media Comment Award! It was a close contest but this comment proved to be the winner.
this is why i love youtube comments
+Josh Mills Why are you still here? It's better for everyone, especially yourself, if you just go. Go, Josh. Go now. Go.
She played this when I saw her open for Nick Cave in Boston, really wonderful song.
Simply beautiful. Perfect as is.
I thank Pickwick for helping me find her. She's too great.
I just love her so much
Sharon, Heather, this song....just so good
impecable como siempre la sharon y compañía
Love this SONG, makes me feel happy and ease, thanks for sharing your talent Sharon, AMOR
Sounds even better than the record. Thank you Twin peaks for introducing this gal to me
I still have to her one boring/conventional/uninspired artist on KEXP. This radio provides the best music available around.. thank you guys. :-*
I have never experienced an artist who is so consistently genuine. After "fall away somehow," it's like Sharon's fingers just ached to strike the next chord. Amazing.
That was a damn fine auditory experience.
love it every time.
!!! My Sharona!
Su musica me relaja el alma y me deja un halo de nostalgia.
She is too good a singer
The background noises actually add to the recording.
that is a powerfull voice! O.O
Someone really appreciate you
Back here just for chilling

Amazing Tremelo in her voice!
Thank you Mark Frost and David Lynch
That's the excellent Heather Woods Broderick performing with Sharon, isn't it? Hoping you both and the band return to the UK soon!
Perfect!!
Can't wait for tomorrow!

A dream
I always think that sharon write this song when she was high. So high.

WHY DO YOU INSIST ON MAKING ME SAD SHARON
Because we are sad
SVE 😁👍
I take it as a challenge
Twin Peaks there!!!!
her touring bandmate Heather Woods Broderick
What kind of guitar is she playing here? Is that a Gibson J-40?
why dis labeled tarifa when its give out (edit: oh, youtube be bugging out)
0:26 song starts
very very similar chord progression to Hallelujah.
se ve que los do con bajo en sol son algo muy típico de ella.
"Something Borrowed"/W-S Burn
Check out Heather Nova
Aprovado
Twin Peaks.
Twin Peaks
don't worry, bro.... she's playing a vintage gibson that's prolly like 40-50 years old, very dried out (full of tone) and worth like 5 grand. you'd sound great on it, too.
Dammit she's already married. -___-
She looks like Liz Harris.
