I simply love the fact that PMDG simulates that glitch. I would've never known it was a thing, these little details help ever so much in the pursuit of knowing Boeing 737ng
Testing only on real pilots, is not good idea, as they only go in correct way. Yes, we need them, to check correct behavior, but we also need computer gamers to check wrong ways. I am working in software developer company, and when we test our user interface, we usually ask people of other department to use our interface without guides. They know overall picture of project, so they can guess what they suppose to do, and we look on system behavior? it should not crash, it should not do horrible things, it should say to user about wrong actions.
Hello. If Simbrief calculates 2 step climbs for me, what should I do to make the plane start climbing on its own at the appropriate points in the flight plan? Do I need to change anything in FMC? For example, I have the first flight level FL330, at some point it will start to climb to FL340 and after some time to FL350. After entering the flight plan from simbrief to pmdg on LEGS, I only have level FL330. What should I do to make the plane start to climb on its own to FL340 and then to FL350 at the appropriate points?
The 737 is not able to do automatic step climbs, neither is any other airliner to my knowledge. Imagine what would happen if the plane started climbing all on its own without an ATC clearance.
@@A330Driver But there are so-called restrictions introduced in LEGS. For example, you can assign an appropriate restriction to a given waypoint according to the OFP flight plan (e.g. FL340) and then the VNAV will automatically start climbing at the appropriate moment.
Really nice that you still upload boeing content! Thank you for this helpfull topic!

"I'm a former 737 pilot" 😔
Yeah but now he gets to be in a more comfortable cockpit
AIRBUS BOIIIZZ 😂👍❤️
@@Tbonedoesfsx"more confortable cockpit"🤓
@@mgfps1 Blud what are you waffling about
It's ok, it gets better over time.... :)
Very detailed and precise explanation thanks!
Great video, thanks Emmanuel!
Love it, thanks!
Great video. Could you cover econ/max rate/max angle modes? When do we use which one?
You can consider to make a tutorial for a double engine failure on cruise?
What flight planning app is being used at 7:10 please?
I think its the SimToolkitPro
Thank you for the video, at which shear value would we consider turbulence ?
3 onward, but take it with a grain of salt.
@@A330Driver Thank you !

Hello, any chance to see an engine failure inflight with restart procedure? Please
I've done that on my engine failure video, didn't I?
Emmanuel are you now employed by Smartlynx by any chance? You know your destination on this video LTFJ made me think about it
Haha, nice thought, but no.
