I fixed that issue now, was not the nut its the steering column head unit and some shear pin on the steering shaft. It only comes out about 2" and won't go any further.

I've got some pretty decent brakes up front 6 piston willwoods race pads and rotors designed for track use, I had issues with brake fade/fluid boiling after a few laps just from driving harder. Needed a few pumps to get them to come back at times. Front tyres are pretty decent hankook RS4 Im a full rookie but by Sunday it was going really well. Ran out of 18" tyres for rear so had to do it on the 16" ones which were a little more sketchy.
