Love your project bags especially the one with the cross stitch project. Your Santa House project is really pretty!
Lovely update. Your projects are gorgeous! Loved hearing about and seeing your double pointed needle and your project bag. Thanks for sharing and Happy Stitching!
Enjoyed. The double needle looks like an awesome idea. Happy stitching!
Enjoyed visiting with you again. Your Santa project is beautiful as is your start on your house. I just finished the winter sampler 😊 You will enjoy it. It’s a beautiful pattern
🎈Hope you have a joyful birthday. 🎈Thank you for sharing your stitching.
Thank you!
I’ve never heard of double sided needles, thanks for the info. I think I might try making my own project bag. I absolutely love the clock fabric.
What a discovery for me, thanks to your video! I am not a fan of primitives because the animals seem to be more like a sketch of themselves. And now I see your miniature horse stitched and it is phenomenal. I know that it is not a primitive pattern, but it is amazing how realistic this horse looks in so few stitches. The designer did a wonderful job, I suppose the effect must come from the quarter stitches that you mentioned. They are worth it, it looks great.
You also did a wonderful gesture by using that old stitched piece of Paula Vaughan in a project bag, it looks so beautiful and elegant.
Happy stitching, crafting in general!
Yes, I think the fractional stitches help make it look more realistic. Thank you for watching!
Love the Fair piece -- great idea to personalize it with the name of the fair you've enjoyed all your life. Before my floor frame got lost in a move, I used the double-pointed needles all the time, and never experienced a break, thank goodness. The Paula Vaughn and L&L Celtic Spring are such wonderful finds! ❤
I am really liking the new needles so far. I think they are a great idea!
Your projects are always so interesting and your stitching is beautiful! I started the Summer Quaker last summer. My first quaker also. I have the town finished and some of the water and sea critters. I am really wanting to get back to it. I also have the Spring Quaker and with spring in mind, I'm hoping to get that started soon. See you next time!
Also, Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Love the stitching! But that blouse tho😍😍😍
Thank you! I recently rediscovered it in my closet 🙂
I like The Fair pattern too. I can almost taste the corn dogs. Lol. I met my husband at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) which is held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada starting the 3rd week of August each year and runs for 17 days. My hubby and I volunteered doing first aid coverage at the fair for many years. Early on, it was very much like what the pattern depicts with the horticultural displays and contests, baking and preserves competitions and of course quilting, needlework and other crafting judging. It was great seeing it all. I like the vibe of the midway etc., especially at night when it is all lit up. Sadly, the fair no longer does any of what I mentioned. It is mainly rides, goods for sale kiosks and some livestock displays and 4H judging. I have recently moved to Alberta, and look forward to going to some local fairs, which I hope will be a more traditional style of fair. Happy stitching!
The Santa sampler is so cute! Also, great start on the project bags! I would like to learn, but I don't really sew (I know it's straight lines, so I could do it...most concerned about the zipper!). I also love your excitement over the KC/Bills game and Taylor Swift (I'm in Kansas, so I'm a KC fan)! So cute!
This was my first time adding a zipper to anything and I was surprised to learn you can just cut them with a rotary cutter or scissors with no problem. You can also sew over the track part of it. So it was very easy!
OMG!! I would love to stitch that fair pattern too. If I can find it. I live in a small town that has the county fair grounds!!
Thanks for sharing the double needle, I have never seen that. Let us know if you are stitching faster with it. On your summer quaker are you stitching with 1 stand over 2 or 2 over 2? Hope you start to include those details in future videos also. So awesome you rescued those cross stitch projects. Your bags turned out cute, nice job.
On Summer Quaker and Winter Sampler I am doing two strands over two on 36 count. Thanks for reminding me! 🙂
I have the pattern, Spring lavender and lace lady. I just acquired it recently and I think it’s so beautiful. I don’t know when I’ll start it but I’ve got it. 🤗 I enjoyed your video!
Just ordered the magazine from eBay!!
Nice! I think it will be a fun stitch 🙂
I was so happy when I came home from work today to find another video from you! Love your project bags! I have no appreciable sewing skills, so it begs me to ask, would you be able to make some bags for a price? Just had to ask. Glad to see your continued progress and the expansion of your cross stitching horizons. I love your little anecdotal stories, they make your videos and uniquely personal experience. I'm from Maryland and it's been cold and snowy this past week with highs only in the 20's and 30's but a warm up with lots of rain later this week. Hopefully it'll all be over with by Sunday's Ravens versus Chiefs game on Sunday. What a great find with the unfinished Celtic Spring piece, you make me want to hit my local thrift stores more often! I look forward to your next video and Go Ravens (both from football and your stitchy stuff)!
Thank you for tuning in again and listening to my stories 🙂. I'm not selling my project bags at the moment but that's nice of you to ask. I'm having fun with all the fabrics!
Another great floss tube I love your project bags they are lovely ❤🇬🇧
