Props to that sister who said Yamaha V star. Ain't no shame in starting on a bike that's comfortable for you. Don't spend $30,000 on a bike you can't handle!
I got both! But I'll tell ya I've been all over with my SG with no issues. The wind buffeting has never really affected me. As far as the RG, I'm starting to fall in love with it!!
I’m a Bat Wing guy!! Retired Police Officer and learned with a batwing on the department. I think it looks better too when it’s tricked out like mine. The one item I have to have is my full face helmet.
Road Glide. I was sold when i got behind a tractor trailer and felt no buffering on the fairing. And one item I would take from my old street glide is memories.
Blessings from the Motor City, I have a 2020 Road Glide Special. It was my first Harley and I fell in love with it. I've never rode a Street Glide before. I have sat on a Street Glide but it didn't feel as good to me as the Road Glide, it just fit me.Peace n Love
I've had 2 street glides. Now that I'm 69 I traded in my 2017 Street Glide special on a 2022 Heritage. I don't do any long rides anymore. I love this Heritage for short rides and around town. I plan to have a trip this spring to Florida. It'll be a 10 hr trip to Florida for me. I've done it on a Triumph Bonneville and a sportster, straight through before, several times.
Hey brother, it was good to meet you. Keep up the great work you're doing with keeping the community informed on the MC set. BTW, CVO limited all day for me.
I have had both!!! I so agree..SG made for shorter trips.........Nothing beats the Road Glide for no wind.. Dude is right!!! You really don't know the difference til you ride the RG. Also, no weight in the front end, I do not miss that Batwing at all.
Somewhere @travelingtall is trying to get this video removed…lol ..First Harley so far has been a Street Glide. I’ve been out of town with it a few times with no issues but I have ridden a Road Glide a few times and i may be adding a shark nose to the collection sooner than later
They make good points. The Road Glide is preferred for long distance trips while the Street Glide may offer more versatility for local rides with friends with the occasional long distance trip.
Love the question! I have a SGS. I am on my second SGS. I have considered a RGS. Maybe I should have switched. But it is what it is. I would keep my heated grips.
Wow ! Always a hot topic . The streetglide got me into the Harley game ! Sport bikes and metric cruisers before the glide. Taller windshield, lowers and rider backrest , you can go as long as you want to, besides if I'm riding to fast I'm missing all the good scenery. Lol. Love your vids ! Keep them coming.
Great video. Street glide for me. I am starting to like the road glide more and more but it’s nothing like my streetglide. As long as I have my credit card with me I can get whatever I need. Love you videos bro!!!

I have both. What the brother said in the bar was right. The street glide is great for your day to day riding, it’s easier to maneuver. The road glide is great on the highway, it slices through the wind.
2020 Road Glide here, the road glide cuts the wind better, front end isn't a boat anchor like a Street Glide! Most important the headlight is stationery and you don't feel like you're chasing the headlight like you do on a Street Glide
Street Glide for me. It is like riding in a comfy Cadillac compared to other bikes. I have many miles on mine, and a replacement windshield has resolved the wind issues.
I been thinking about buying a street Glide or road Glide your video has got me leaning road Glide but honestly I have to get that test ride on both. I like the looks of the street but I know the road Glide is the better traveling bike.
I have more than 80k on each glide. The Road Glide is best for long trips. The frame mounted fairing minimizes arm and shoulder fatigue. The Street Glide is more maneuverable for stunting.
This is one of the biggest reason I switch to Harley and cruisers. I've been riding sportbikes since I was in my mother's stomach lol....my goodness, the arogance and lack of riding etiquette from sportbike group year after year just can't compare with the Harley and cruisers group. I guess maturity also and Harley riding academy school helps at least according to my wife😂😂😂. Don't get me wrong, there few wanna be badass out there, but the majority of Harley owners and cruisers are actually successful and educated with great attitude and self discipline in life. It's all fun and safely enjoying their lives, instead of wanna prove something all the time or cover their insecurities and tend to forget about riding respect, etiquette and comradery. Pick wisely who you ride with and hangout with, be responsible and ride safe. Someone looks cool and speaks hard shouldn't be admired. Safety first, respect and be humble. Ego won't do anyone any good. Although I still ride my sportbikes with a great group of mature individuals, I really love the group of Harley and cruisers out there.
A Street-Glide any day of the week, and just because the looks of it. I ride my 2016 103 hp for over a year now and I am still in love... Can it be that its a cultural thing? Most of you bros choose Road Glide
no, it's Electra Glide !!! lol. I have a stupid question( might be a video topic for you ) When I'm riding out on the highway and I see a MC approaching fast in my rear view mirrors, what's the protocol? Should I move over to let them pass? Or do I just keep steady and they will pass anyway? Just want to be sure I'm not going to do anything wrong.

Road Glide Bro!!! Because I don’t have to deal with the weight on the front fork and being blown all across the highway… Great video bro
