It's hilarious how kronii sounds genuinely terrified when you hear her scream from the other's point of views.
Espesilay Fauna's pov. there is reveb and muffling that makes it sound like a horror show.

Ars is a treasure! Even her Japanese fans can't understand what she's saying 20% of the time (when she's speaking Japanese)... but she's a treasure still.
She's a big treasure. You can say the same about other Japanese speaking VTubers. I find Patra Suou to be an absolute treasure.

I think it's a lot harder for the JP vtubers to do the same due to culture difference. Obviously some have managed to break through that barrier but the general work culture of Japan I imagine can cause issues

Bad edit on the horror game clip. They didn't include the best part of the nigh when Kronii finally managed to get into a closet to hide. Mumei came into the room and started talking to Kronii and told her the monster went away and it's safe to come out.
As Kronii left the closet Mumei jumped into the closet saying "Sucker". Kronii started freaking out as the closet only holds one person. Mumei was just teasing though as the monster had left. Mumei is such a great little troll.
Ars is great, any interaction I've seen between her and her debut group Blues has always been hilarious as well.
How did the cool S even become a thing? I don't remember where I learned about it from or how everyone at my school seemed to know about it. And a decade or two later, I found out that almost EVERYBODY near my age apparently drew it when they were kids. Did it spread on MSN and AOL Messenger? Internet forums? Solely IRL through word-of-mouth and passed notes at schools across the country? I have no idea.
Some dude made a video about it back in the day. It's not an internet age thing because there are people saying they know what it is and were drawing it when they were elementary schoolers in the 70s. So the stuff is OOOLD.

The cool S isn’t even a boomer thing, it’s like practically ingrained in human society for generations people keep trying to figure out where it first appeared it seems like human children keep discovering it on their own and sharing it with all their friends making it seem almost like a disease that keeps having random outbreaks everywhere. It’s beautiful actually truly one of the most powerful memes.

Fun fact: Nagzz also should technically have to ask companies for permission to stream their games, but most game companies have agreed to not go after individual streamers because the money they would get from suing them would be miniscule in comparison to the PR backlash they would face. Most game companies just agree to let streamers give them free publicity and not do anything, but with Holo girls, they're working under a company that must talk to publishers first.
not really they have too do that because their are a Japanese company and japan has strict copyright laws
The thing is that, while Indy streamers do get less shit from developers and need permission less often, there is still the fear of the company taking you down regardless. There was a mass take down back in late 2019 where all the girls back then lost almost all their content and nearly banned. Subaru was hit hardest and ended up with almost nothing and she couldn't get back into the algorithm. To prevent this from happening again they play it safe. Asking for permission means you can play games or videos in their entirety and not have to cut out scenes that would otherwise be marked as copyright. A big company had tons more influence than an individual. It is unfortunate but it's the sad part of being under a well known name. If you do a company justice then other companies open up and allow permissions. I think it's way better than being indy and constantly under fear that your job can easily disappear with no warning.

The best thing about that Korone and Calli clip is knowing how much of a shrinking violet Korone can be in real life, to see her so enthusiastic and Calli being tremendously nervous shows just how far Korone has come, she's just so goddamn cute.

For the Gura part, I was actually asking about that in another video about how exactly it works, and got some answers.
The sad realization was finding out how basically if a company/studio doesn't exist anymore or the IP owners are gone, it is impossible to ever get permissions for older games, cause yes you would think that would mean they could play it without issues, but IF somehow the ownership is gotten back, they can possibly sue cover for the gameplay so they would rather not risk it.
This is as far as i understand the situation, but I wanna learn more if possible.
