I didn't even think to check his scaling since I missed the patch notes show. I've been trying assassin style Cupid, and it wasn't getting any mileage. This mage build makes a lot more sense and looks like it plays way better.
at lvl 1 the 2 needs 50 mana to use and gives 69 for getting all 3 hearts, the ability actually gives mana(19) instead of costing mana and it gets better with leveling lol

I may be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure that's also true in Smite 1.

Was the same in smite 1 people just refuse to pick up hearts
I think it was the same in S1 if allies picked up the heart, but i don't think it matters in smite 2
