That was a top video squire. Everything from a classic Ford, Claas mowers, Fendt, John Deere, Massey Ferguson all working at either silage or tillage. Then the Red Kite for some wildlife!
That JCB is something else, got some sort of pushing power. Also I, ve noticed You,your brother? and your father take things steady, no rushing about doing a tidy job and respecting the machinery, not pushing things to the limit like some,I applaud you for that, a pleasure to watch , Thank You Dan
Another great video Dan thanks for sharing all the different tractor manufacturers and a red kite,be careful you don’t get cross contamination with the two green and yellow tractors lol keep the videos coming
Blimey, and to think as a lad I had an MF 65 and a wee buck rake at the clamp. Had constant neck ache for days looking over my shoulder whilst working the silage clamp !
Great video dan, looks expensive them two wagons going, shoukd of had yours going, save a few quid. Looks a nice amount of grass , hopefully a drop of rain soon to get it growing again and help the new ley. Great new jcb.
Excellent driving by the clamp man. Years ago, the telehandler used by the crew I drove for was prone to over-heating with the steep climb and descent working the clamp. Things have obviously improved. Great footage.
Just been watching funky farmer's silage vlog and his contractor had a new yellow NEW HOLLAND with a similar buck rake AND again only 300 hours on the clock. Great video as usual, Dan. Looking forward to seeing next weeks Vintage Thursday, and the Sunday vlog. TTFN.
I recall lining up a couple things on the horizon to keep a straight row when cutting green peas with a swather in my youth, as well as the misses when I got crossed up
Great video as always Dan. You run a lot of class grass machinery. Would love to know what you think of their mowers, and any reason why you would go with them as opposed to a KUHN or Krone mower. I ask as will be upgrading soon, and currently running an older KUHN. Great mower, but it's only an 8' and will be upgrading to 10' front and rear, and there is no KUHN dealers near but there is a CLAAS dealer. Also, will mostly be for cutting hay with approx 60 acres of own silage (bales not pit) - so would you recommend getting a conditioner mower i.e is it worth it?
Good to see you getting what looks like a reasonable crop 💪 could really see how dry some of it was on the pit 🙄 JCB was making a lovely job on the pit 👍 did you have Dad rolling the pit this year red again 🤔

I miss cutting grass 35 years ago I drove a Nash 956 with a 10ft Kuhn trailing mover and boy did I give it gun
Another good piece of work, well done. Great to see all the separate operations combined into on video, really enjoyable.
Great video Dan That JCB is Amazing and a Brilliant Operator Excellent Skills Pushing up and Levelling out.
Think that the best level/neat top of a silage pit I’ve ever seen👍nice to see the jcb push a trailer full in in 2 pushes 😁

Another brilliant video Dan
Fine work by the JCB I wonder would it be capable of keeping a high output self propelled chopper. Cerainly appears on top of job with the wagons
Corr Dan, that old Basildon beauty is the best tractor I’ve seen on this channel 😂😂always a blue but I do love your channel.
Have to replace the kubota with one of those jcbs Dan
Great video. Enjoyed watching

Yes, dad was rolling.
Last time I saw that clamp it was empty apart from the 1200 😊
It wouldn't fit in now 😆
Shame we can't smell the cut grass!
How many loading wagon you have
