Very good overview RJ. I get pretty ambivalent about gear like this meaning I’m afraid I’ll have to spend way too much time fiddling around with the gear resulting in wasted time and not enough playing or practicing. Easy to do with this much tech.
Could red mode possibly allow you to assign a preset to each switch? That would be cool.
I use xtone to connect the speakers directly, the sound of the software effects will be lost, how did you do it

how do you set up the signal levels between the interface and iPad Apps or Macbook??
The knob on the pedal is a master volume out, I adjusted my signal level into the apps inside the apps.
I guess I'm missing how you can use different VST's on the fly (I have an Windows 10 laptop). Any help would be appreciated.
within the apps you can assign the footswitches to do whatever you prefer ie change patches or just bypass individual pedals in a patch. If you wish to control switching from one app to another ie use Bias FX for Leads and say Amplitube for Rhythm, you'd need a VST loader for live performance like GigPerformer or CamelotPro. These programs are designed for keyboard players to control multiple VSTi's and hardware synths so for guitar use, you'd only need the most basic functions.
Tones on the Macbook/Logic sound better for some reason.
More powerful processor, and plugins!
