Webn used to push this song! I remember getting ready for high school and listening to the dawn patrol! I hated it then but love it now! Takes me back!
Before anyone knew what a “banger” was, everyone in the local live music scene in Cincinnati knew. Thank you for a great memory from my high school days!
My father is related to Rob, they came to my house and played in the backyard a few jams. I was like 10. Near Cincinnati, little town called Augusta Ky...
I am so glad you put this song out! I was a H.S. Senior in 1985 in the Cincinnati area and I've literally had this song stuck in my head for 35 years! I have done countless searches but forgot the song title and just knew the band was The Raisins! It was not enough to find it and after time I just thought "Oh Well. No big deal". On a totally unrelated search I saw the title "Fear is Never Boring". I listened to it and said "Holy Crap!! That's It!!" THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I was their soundman for about a year and still know them all. They were as a good a band as any that ever "made it big". The breaks just didn't come their way.
- I suppose you guys toured the country or I hope you did at least. Did you ever go outside of the US? What are The Psychodots doing now? Are they still together?
Heck I think they were better than a lot of bands that "made it big". Also, they were just as tight live as they were in the studio, maybe even moreso.
@@beachbum2264 have you ever seen the video for that song??? It is pretty good, considering the time and tech they didn't have. I miss the good old days sometimes.
