I really would like to see you read things outside your comfort zone. I know you’ve done it before but those types of videos are my favorite to watch. I always like to change things up and push my boundaries on the style of books I read. I read a book called “Beartown” and I think you would really love it and it’s more literary fiction. It’s about a small hockey town but it’s so much more than that. You should definitely look into it, it surprised me how much I loved it. Love your videos and always love your suggestions. ❤️
Oh my gosh! I love Beartown! I can't wait to read the other two books in the series. Also, Sara if you're reading this and if you plan to read Beartown just to let you know it was kind of slow (in my opinion). Not much happens for about 150-200 pages of the book, but then everything starts to unravel and there's excellent commentary on small town and sports culture in there. It's an awesome read! I totally recommend the audiobook.
Just read Flawless a few days ago, it's soo good. I loved it. It was the first book I've read by that author, and her writing style is so fun and easy to get in to in my opinion.
I’m so ready for Lucian and Sloane!! I’ve been excited since seeing them in the 1st book! I also need to get into Freida McFadden, you got me into Alice Feeney so i’m sure i’ll love her as well! Also i’m reading Mile High right now and so far so good!
Once Upon A Broken Heart is so good. If you end up liking it, I'd wait to read the second book, because it ends on a major cliff hanger and the 3rd book doesn't come out until September.
No bc I understand your feelings on magnolia parks so much. I’m literally still in a slump from reading the great undoing in January I read ONE book this month
Sara! PLZ READ once upon a broke heart. The two books out in that series have become my favorite! i cant wait for the third in september. The second book literally broke me😭
Mile high and flawless are some of my favourite books/series I’ve read, the right move (2nd book after mile high) I’ve just finished and gave it 5⭐️ and the other books in the flawless series are also 5⭐️ for me!
Highly advise you read Caraval series first before once upon a broken heart. I swear once upon a broken heart is so good though you would love the second one Ballad of never after
i totally agree with you on what you said about mpu changing you, im almost done with the great undoing and i genuinely fear for my next books that i want to read because nothing will ever compare to these books. it sounds so dramatic but its so true. like im not the same person who i was before i read them and i literally think about the characters 24/7. i feel sick just thinking about finishing dh2 because i know gonna fall into a black hole of emptiness
Loved Serpent and Dove still need to read the last book in that trilogy. I have no clue what I want to read this month but I am thinking about picking up Fine Print, and Icebreaker (the hockey/figure stake one)
quick question about the magnolia parks series 😆 do I have to read the series in order or can i just read like the first and third right after one another and then read the second one?
If you read Once upon a Broken Heart, I would suggest reading Stephanie Garber’s series Caraval first, since the main character in Once upon a Broken Heart is in Caraval and u would kind of need to know some background info and the world.
Once upon a broken heart was so good! after i read it I directly bought the send book but sadly the third one will be coming out in september😭 Idk how i’ll wait so long
The perfect marriage⭐⭐⭐ Seven days in june⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnolia parks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rock bottom girl⭐⭐⭐ Kingdom of the feared Anastasia Serpent and dove The do over Things we hide from the light⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The house maid s secret⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
I dont know why but I really heard the new joesey girl today haha sometimes I forget. I love your voice it's so calming and your dialect usually isn't noticeable I think you just hit a few words like "shortest month" haha. As a linguist, I know this happens when we spend time with people with stronger accents, or when were relaxed. With love, a parasocial linguist. (All English is good English ❤️)
Once upon a broken heart is sooooo good. 100% reccomend, I personally believe it's better than Caraval (even tho I would reccomend reading that firat if you're interested in both, because in OUABH there are main spoilers for the trilogy of Caraval)
@@SaraCarrolli I tried reading Once Upon A Broken Heart without Caraval and I definitely think you could do it I was just getting very confused about the world. It wasn’t horrible but I could definitely tell I was missing something
@@SaraCarrolli I prefer OUABH, the writing is better and the story is much more addicting, but I think it may be a little confusing if you haven't read Caraval (kinda like shadow and bone/six of crows). I didn't love the first book in the trilogy of Caraval, but the other two (Legendary and Finale) are really really good and the romance is very well written in those. So I'd reccomend reading the trilogy of Caraval first, even tho the first book may not be the most captivating, but I think it's really worth It for the other two (who have a different pov and different main charachters) and for OUABH. Hope this helps💕💖
I bought the magnolia parks series BUT I am afraid to read it because then... it will be over ...if that makes any sense. I hate loving a series and when its over I feel empty :( book lover problems
I feel the same exact way you do about ‘the perfect marriage!’ Enjoyed the wife’s pov, couldn’t stand the husband, the ending fell super short for me 😒
You should read the Caraval trilogy before reading Once Upon a Time. You don't have to, but it might be more helpful to get to know the main characters more.
hi Sara!! Have you read TJR’s One True Loves? Im currently reading and flying through it. Love the video, I’m super curious about the Magnolia Parks series!
i'm reading the housemaid's secret while watching this, and oh my god, im only halfway but FUCK its good!!!! excited to see if it will trick me or not!! ps. ily

The way you talk about the magnolia parks series makes me want to read it so bad 🥺
Do it!!!
lol I have it on my kindle
me too, but I'm scared because I usually don't like toxic relationships in books😭
Just read Flawless a few days ago, it's soo good. I loved it. It was the first book I've read by that author, and her writing style is so fun and easy to get in to in my opinion.

Once Upon A Broken Heart is so good. If you end up liking it, I'd wait to read the second book, because it ends on a major cliff hanger and the 3rd book doesn't come out until September.

Will you do a fantasy genre for beginners? Would love to branch out to that genre.
i feel the same way about magnolia parks
destiny and sara post AND daisy jones show is out!! best friday ever
the last book i read in third person was a drag for me but you've convinced me to give third person another try with Seven Days in June :)
Highly advise you read Caraval series first before once upon a broken heart. I swear once upon a broken heart is so good though you would love the second one Ballad of never after

You need to read The Right Move by Liz Tomforde the second book after Mile High its sooooo goooood.❤
If you read Once upon a Broken Heart, I would suggest reading Stephanie Garber’s series Caraval first, since the main character in Once upon a Broken Heart is in Caraval and u would kind of need to know some background info and the world.
Some new recommendations to add to my endless tbr 😍 Yayyyy 😍😍

You definitely have to read Mile high and the right move! 6 star sport romance for me
once upon a broken heart takes place in the same world as the caraval trilogy! not sure if you need to read those first or anything
I feel so crazy early ahah love your videos 🤍

Omg!!! I can never tell if I have an accent or not 😭
Is it necessary to read Daisy Haites or can I skip to Magnolia Parks #2? I just want more Parks and Beej 😩
You can skip!
Read “A Flicker in the dark” I read it last month and it’s the BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ it’s SO good

“To be read”!!!! The books on your “tbr” are books you plan to read ☺️
Thank you so my Sara!!! I can't wait to read more!😃
read caraval series before once upon a broken heart, its about one character of caraval series
You read the two magnolia parks books after the other or daisy haites in the middle??
I went on lower rating for The Perfect Marriage and it's one of my most regretted reads

Are you going to do a video about the Daisy Jones and the Six TV show since it came out today?
I’m gonna watch it in a few days!
Do we need to read daisy haites too or we can only read the magnolia parks series?
You don’t have to! But it’s recommended!
